Fated is a story revolved around Tanaka Ainosuke, a genious young doctor from Hakumei. He had dedicated himself to create a proper end for his parents' love story, the last king of Hakumei, Yamada Ryosuke and the lost queen, Shida Mirai. This story would bring you to complicated relationships among people.    

A fillial daughter and a stranger. For her, he was a confusing puzzle. For him, she was the cure he needed. Coming from different background yet living under the same roof. Two destiny's intertwined with each other... or would it?

Shida Mirai was a young maiden that dreamed to travel the world. What would she do when the King of Hakumei ordered her to marry the second prince, Yamada Ryosuke? What would she choose when the prince himself offered to help her escape the marriage?

Prince Yamada Ryosuke was called back to his kingdom after years studying abroad. He was hoping to see his childhood friend, Shida Mirai, yet what he found out later would only disappointed him. The disappointment grew bigger since she was going to be his bride, the ruling queen of his future reign. Amidst the political turbulences, he struggled not only to decipher the schemes set by his opposants, but also the complicated bond of his marriage. Would there be a happy ending for him?
