Chapter 23: Don't stop this thread!! This thread is saving a lot of authors from wasting time to solve the issue themselves. But maybe you might be able to come up with a better system of operating this so the moderators won't get spammed. Although I have no idea on how, sorry ):
Chapter 23: this really is really helpful! it's a huge help in fact! I don't think you should take it down. There have been many plagiarized stories that have been taken down thanks to you! I would sure like to help with you're doing, if it means keeping this "story" up. it really is great
Chapter 23: True, the users are becoming out of hand at times. Rhey tend to flood the plagiarizer with rude comments and messages. I've made a mistake about reporting plagiarism tom friend's readers because her story was shamelessly plagiarized, but this thread is quite helpful. However, if this enables users to do group bashings and flamings, it is not advisable to continue this for a long time. No matter how much warnings are given to all users, many are very stubborn because this is the internet and no one will know who they are and hunt them down. If ever users start rallying against plagiarizers, I think it's better to warn them the first time and ban them if it gets worse. Control is needed.
Chapter 23: up to you, maybe you can just replace it with blog posting plagiarism awareness. aff users can report to you their findings and if you find any user plagiarizing then you can report it to the moderators.

Chapter 23: I think it's natural when things are starting off for there to be a few hitches; baby steps, you know? Learn as you go. You started this with good intentions, and if anything, you're informing people that this IS problem and there are sane, effective ways to deal with it. I like the idea of having one person report and then informing the rest of us here; multiple reports don't do anything but take up mods' time. And definitely, NO BASHING. We stoop to their level, then we are no better than they are.
