Chapter 21: Hi! We were informed of this thread by the Moderators, who want to make sure that no bashing of any authors results from this will result in heavy consequences to any users involved in spreading hateful messages. It is something they are concerned about, since plagiarism is a very serious subject and becomes personal for the author who is a victim of plagiarism. It's wonderful that users are becoming more active in reporting these occurrences, but the Moderators are being flooded with dozens of reports on the same story and it's becoming difficult to sort through them. If it's possible, could you have your readers let you know when they have reported a story, so that you can let your subscribers know in turn, in order to control the number of reports being sent in? Again, they're so grateful for the help and increased interest, but it's starting to become overwhelming. Thank you!
Geez I just subscribed yesterday mostly because of curiosity and hope to discover a good story I didn'T know (I'm really agaisnt plagiarism as well) but... I'm stunned. You're actually doing awareness at the same time because I didn't think I would see another update for a long time. Plagiarism is way more frequent than I thought !
Chapter 20: Ohwait sorry, i accidentally posted that unfinished comment below -_-
anyway i was wondering that wouldnt it be easier to find the plagiarizer if the story was for subscribers only? Therefore, the plagiarizer must be hidden in one of the subscribers since non-subscribers would only see the foreword. And since a plagiarizer would have to see the chapters, theyll therefore have to subscribe.
Chapter 21: OMG! People actually plagiarize fanfics? WHY?! Is it even that serious, just for point's!!!! I hate them now >< It I ever see it happen, I will tell you guys here. I just hope people don't do it to my story ><
Chapter 20: Like chiisanae said in the comment under mine, I don't understand it all, too. The only thing I can understand is taking someone's idea/story and continue from there (like an alternate ending orz). And translating stuff to improve your writing/translating skills. But then again, I don't think it would give you any satisfaction if you know what you're doing is wrong on SO many levels.. (Though things that aren't allowed seem to be more exciting.. :/)
I honestly wonder what satisfies people to steal and copy someone elses ideas/stories. The best part about creating a new fanfic is playing with your own thoughts and creativity, right? Whats fun about sharing something that isn't your own idea to begin with?! Sorry, people need to take writing more seriously in general and stop goofing around (unless its crack of course). There I said it!
and a lot more that you can check from her account. She translates stories but says who's the real author... If you look at the description, you'll find the fic's name and author in english.
Seriously how can plagiarism exist -_- please people, buy yourself a personality... It's so disrespectful and useless ! It really hurts when you see you've been plagiarized ^^'
