New to school, Joshua decides to be as quiet as possible to not be noticed, he looks the same as everyone else, so why would kids make fun of him, because he is blind.

He went, going to sit half on the edge of Jeonghan’s desk, right across from him. Folding his hands, his sweater paws hiding his hands, Joshua explained, “Some tutoring, sir.” He heard Jeonghan choke. “Tutoring?” Clearing, his throat, Jeonghan asked, “Do you know what you’re implying here Joshua?”

The two of them sat on the bed, looking at each other shyly before erupting into giggles. Joshua fell back into the sheets. “Why are we acting so shy around each other?”

“Noo,” he whined. “Let’s stay home and cuddle. We don’t need to go. You know everything about that class baby.”

Jeonghan who had checked the time on his phone looked up at the cashier. He blinked. It felt as time had stopped. The cashier had a soft smile on his beautiful face, and those eyes. Why did Jeonghan’s heart hurt? Why was the cashier shining?

“Can’t play while you’re messy,” Joshua said. He walked to the stairs, holding Haneul to him. “Once you’re all nice and clean you can play with everyone. You messy little monster.” Haneul growled playfully at him. “Grrrr.”
