— Korean | fluent | Hanuel is 100% Korean, and has been learning Korean his whole life, this is the one language he can speak even in his sleep with no mistakes
— English | Advanced High | The only mistakes Haneul makes with English is the spelling errors, other than that he is very fluent in the language. He enrolled into English classes from a young age, unlike Haru, who was more interested in music as a whole. Haneul was also very invested in languages and music. So he went to an English academy after class to learn the langage, before their parents hired a personal English tutor hence his English is better than his sister
— Chinese | Advanced Mid | This was actually the secondary langauge, Haneul learnt after Korean because he had half Korean-Chinese friends, who he learnt off from. He always watched some chinese dramas in his free time, when he was young, to further learn the language. Before joining their company which is a subsidary of the Chinese company, Banana Culture Music, where he learnt even more Chinese from travelling to and fro from South Korea to China. He took daily lessons through the agency as well, where he picked up the language faster than Haru.

— Haneul has prominent dimples on both side of his face, when people notice he gets shy and actually hides his face behind sweater paws. He has a birthmark to the left side of his face, which he actually really likes so usually is seen without make up covering it up, if he can. He has a beauty spot above his lip sort of in contrast with his twins'. He has naturally lusicous black hair, but he is originally seen sporting pink hair during his audition to PD and gets dubbed as the Oh pink twin. His visuals are extraordinary with his black hair, so he changes it to black before the first round of the competition due to his siter's pleas. He has naturally pink lips, that the stylists apply light tint to brighten for the show. He has a lightning, sun & cloud tattoo to match Haru, its on his right wrist.

fashIOn stYle.

— Haneul likes wearing dungarees/overalls when he is out on sibling dates and to match with Haru. For when hes on his skateboard he perfers to keep this comfortable, he prefers to wear pastels for this, and this is actually his preferred style of clothes. But when he is just out and about he wears smart comfortable clothes. He is constantly wearing a blue string sunflower bracelet, whilst Haru wearas the matching pink string one. In PD practice times, only when he is singing [not dancing/rapping!!] he usually wears circular glasses [the ones that are big] matching her twin Haru.

Haneul has amazing stage presence, his eyes shine and his gaze changes, making him someone captivating and you would not want to blink when he's performing. He sort of is the scene stealer. He is creative and can create cheography from even a wave. When he gets comfortable with someone he shows how beagle like he,and his energy is of the charts He takes pride in his freestyle rapping. Haneul is like a loyal puppy, once you have gained his trust he will do anything to keep it. He is very organised and usually uses post it notes in his lyric book. He has a very visual mind, so his ideas are usually original and out of the box. 

He has a huge heart, which means he will forgive you, but this does not necessarily mean you have his trust again. He has an immeciable amount of patience that people are amazed, when he doesn't blow a gasket. He is selfless and likes putting and letting people go before him.

He has puppy like charms, where he is pretty clumsy usually about 5 minutes after he wakes up, he seems like he's not himself. He is a dreamer, which means sometimes he's sat alone disconnected from the world, this doesn't happen when he's working though. He is naive and believes almost everything which shows his pure and soft heart.

Oh Haneul, is the middle child of Doctor Police couple, the Oh-Lees. He has a fraternal twin, who is his soulmate. He was born weak, so his whole family take extra care of him, even after he restored to full health. He would be found helping out at home, and was not one of those spoilt bratty children, who take everything for granted. He worked hard, and would not pester his family for anything. He like his siblings were brought up by their grandmother due to their parents extremely busy and demanding jobs. 

Differently, to his twin, Haneul was part of his school's choir club, from primary school, so his love of music started from a little bit of everything. However, like his twin he considers his grandmother's singing to be the biggest deal breaker as to why he wanted to be an idol. He was extremely proud of his sister's accomplishment and a bit envious as their grandmother could see her become a singer, but that was not the case for the twins. So they worked hard and ensured that they would not let her down, they would debut even if it was the last thing they did. To honour her.

Haneul was the one who did most of the soul searching whilst he got accepted into Plan A, with Haru. He was happy to be in the same company as his sister but worried that he would harm her reputation in someway, and also did not want to use her accomplishments to get his name known. So he decided to audition for Banana Culture. After he got accepted, he found himself missing home like crazy, he used to at least see his siblings now nothing. So he was surpirsed and thankful his sister joined Banana Culture a week later. He's never forgetting the reason she joined was for him. 

Haneul finds himself feeling regretful that his younger sister has to dote on him, and wants to be able to show her through the show that he is now back to full health, and its time he started to look after her.

— Smell of cigarette, he is very smell sensitive so feels like gaging when he smells cigarette smoke
— Thunder, whilst he's ok with lightning, the sound of thunder actually scares him lowkey, he's glad Haru comes to him for comfort, cos having her close eases his shock too. Whilst at PD, he listens to her voice which calms him down, but he was not aware of this, til they started training at PD.
— Apples, this is one fruit he cannot get himself to like, however he eats it fine without the skin and in a fruit salad.
— Early mornings, it takes him approx 5 minutes before he moves from bed when woken up in the morning. He lays in bed, forcing his eyes to remain open, its a real struggle

FEARS.

— Dark, surprisingly Haneul has to sleep with a night lamp on, through the years it slowly degraded to glow in the dark stickers that he brings with him onto the show. His fans find this adorable and want to protect him 
— Not being enough, maybe its cos his sister has always been in his life protecting him, he somehow feels like without her he is not enough, but slowly through the show and being approved by knetz and judges as well as fellow trainees his confidence does grow, and he betters himself
— Losing a loved one, like Haru he too, grieved hard after the death of their paternal grandmother, he does not want to go through that ever again, so hugs his sisters tightly as well whenever he sees them both. 

SPECIAL TALENTS.

— Lip reading - he undercovered this talent when his sisters were talking hush hush, thinking he wasn't there.
— A knack for learning languages - the one thing, Haneul has alwyas enjoyed learning is languages he aspires to learn many more langugues if he can. He takes pride in his talent.
— Flexible, this is a hard concept for males, and Haneul has mastered this from a young age, he knows and can do the splits with ease
— Is an advanced guitar and keyboard player, who can play things with the very least of an hour practice.

FUN FACTS.

— Was born slightly unhealthy, and had to stay back at the hospital for 20 days, but was eventually gaining the right amount of weight and soon was deemed healthy
— Is actually older than Haru, although her treatment to her brother does not seem like it.
— Likes video games, but because Haru tells him off, he does this only when she is busy with something else
— Is really pure to the fact you wonder if he is hiding something

Haneul is 100% raw and himself with his sister, he opens up to her the most and they can share banter carelessly. There's no need to be cautious and they be wild and free with each other.

Haneul looks up to his sister the most, she's been there for him, more than his own parents and wants to do anything he can to continue to see her smile. They enjoy gaming together when Haru is not present, or they wait until Haru is asleep. He tells Hayoung things that he cannot tell Haru because he worries she will be hurt or worried.

Woohyuk watched the closeness and bond of the siblings and as a notorious troublemaker, he wanted to test the strength of their bond and see if it was all for show or real, so he would tell each sibling one thing whilst the other got told other stuff. At first it seemed like Haneul being gullible believed it, and was avoiding his sister. But little did Woohyuk originally know the twins were smarter than they let others know, and they knew people would try to turn them against each other. So instead of automatically hating Woohyuk, they actually approached him, and thanked him. Although they wouldn't consider each other as best friends, Woohyuk hates them a little less than everyone else. He also talks to the twins quite civilly after this whole ordeal, and has got some respect for them.

Ryuu and Haneul first bond over their shared love of Seventeen. And slowly, Haneul helps Ryuu with his dancing skills, whilst Ryuu teaches Haneul Japanese. These two then slowly begin to comminicate in the simple Japanense that Haneul picks up very fast.

TRAINEE YEARS.

— 6 years

TRAINEE BACKGROUND. 

— Initially had joined Plan A as trainees, alongside his twin. This is the company of their older sister, but Haneul was worried and knew that a scandal could break if he did something wrong, so he decided to move to Banana Culture. He did not expect his twin to follow him, but it touched him to n ends, and he reckons if it wasn;t for her, he might not have been strong enough to continue being a trainee for so long. He would practice dancing and singing with Haru. Waching Rome from Cclown at the start of his trainee career is what infludenced him to try rapping. The trainers were surprised to see his natural talent, hence he managed to become a triple threat. He worked hard and passionatley believing one day he would debut with his twin.

Previous experience. 

— back up dancer for CClown's Justice mv and live. This helped him improve his technique and methods for dancing. He got used to performing on stage, and couldn't wait to make his own debut.

What song did you choose for your first evaluation performance?

— Oh Haneul sang, Dinosaur by AKMU. He sang this with his twin. Here.  The judges then asked the two of them to show anything they practiced to show their dance or if they could freestyle separetly. THe twins decided to prerform a remix of two songs, whilst blindfolded. 1 & 2. In the first clip, the white suspender is Haru, whilst the red is Haneul; in the second clip the black top is Haru, whilst the red top is Haneul.

comments. — I hope the gist of Haneul's character does not come of as confusing. He is someone who seems like an introvert at glance but if you befriend him he's actually an extrovert. Thank you, I hope you like Haru and Haneul!
P.s I included Woohyuk but the author of the character has yet to see the collab, but I did tell her of my idea before, the reason she has not changed is, is because she has not been online and I wanted to send in my app before the deadline :)
