— Korean | Fluent | Being brought up in an Korean household meant, she was exposed to Korean since the day she was born. Haru used to attend after class tuition lessons to enhance her skills in Korean
— English | Advanced | Self taught | Haru would learn English by watching food programs, since a young age with her mother. Later her parents hired a personal English tutor thinking it would be helpful for them.
— Chinese | Conversational  | As her company is a subsidary of the Chinese company Banana Culture Music, she has been learning Chinese ever since she joined the company. It helps that she travels to China often with her twin, and was able to develop her Chinese. They also took daily classes through the agency, but she did not learn it until advanced level.

— Haru has hidden dimples, that ironically come when she frowns which can be seen when she is anxious. She has a birthmark close to our eye in the shape of a tear drop, she takes pride in her tiny beauty spot that is under her lip on the right side. Haru has long lucious black locks, her hair is naturally straight after a day, however post shower its slightly wavy. She ties her hair into a bun when she is practicing, and her hair is loose and styled during performances. Her natural lips are a baby pink, and she likes using tint during outdoor/performances, otherwise she uses vaseline. Her eyes are a People are usually wowed by Haru's visuals and she tends to find strangers stare at her, so she usually looks away in shyness, not understanding what they are looking at. She has a thunder bolt tattoo on the inside of her left hand. It is symbolic as Haneul is scared of thunder, whilst Haru is scared of lightning, so they both protect each other. It also, is that bit extra because it looks like Harry Potter's mark, and Haru is one mad fan.

fashIOn stYle.

—  Haru enjoys wearing skirts and dresses. She is usually seen adoring pastel colour outfits. Sometimes you can find the twins contrasting each other in colour choices of their outfits. She likes having sweater paws, so usually wears extra long sleeves which enhance her cuteness, that bit further. In PD practice times, only when she is singing [not dancing!!] she usually wears circular glasses [the ones that are big] matching her twin Haneul. Also, her fashion changes whens he practices, cos she wears more comfy clothes, that make her seem like a tom boy whose clothes are inspired by hip hop. It shows a 360 change in character, and her fans love it! She is constantly seen wearing a pink string sunflower bracelet, whilst Haneul wears a blue string sunflower bracelt.

Haru has always participated in extracuriculum sports since a young age,  making her athletic, she would go swimming every sunday morning, at their local sports centre. She used to do gymnastics when she was really young, before her school work became harder and demanded her attention. She is very creative, the way her brain drifts into different dimensions, helps her write poetry which she later turns into lyrics. She is very elegant in the way she carries herself, and her amazing mannerisms, are astounding. She has beaglelike energy, which is off the charts when she's with Haneul. As Haru has had to mature pretty early and she looks after her older brother, she ends up possessing leader-like skills. She is very responsible and takes it as her duty to ensure everyone is working hard whilst not hurting themselves. 

Haru is a moodmaker, but this can also be her downfall as it means sometimes she has to hide that she herself is hurting, if it means making someone else happy. She is very realistic which can be a disadvantage, as it means she sets herself goals that can be reached, but it also means sometimes missing good chances. She is selfless and will do anything if it means someone else can smile.

The loss of her grandmother made her cautious about what she says, so sometimes she is gullible and lets other use her, whilst making sure she doesn't risk hurting them. Haru is very strict on herself when it comes to whatever she puts her mind to. She is very superstitious in things like lucky charm, numbers, etc. She can be stingy when it comes to spending money, so she prefers to save money rather than spend it. 

bAckground.
Oh Haru, is the third and youngest child of Doctor Oh and Police Officer Lee. She is one half of fraternal twins. She grew up as someone who came to understand the real struggles of the world, and not a spoilt brat, as she was raised by her grandmother's olden day methods. They would work hard at home, with chores and activities to earn their food, and luxuries. Whilst still being provided necessities. Their parents are usually busy with their jobs, so the children were until age 17 brought up by their grandmother.

The love for music, from the twins came from a young age, where their grandmother would sing them to sleep after a long tiring day at school. They wanted to do something in return for her, and thus they embarked on their love for music. Haru joined her local Church's choir and was a member for 2 years [age 11-13] where she was often applauded and mentioned for her honey voice. She wanted to explore her voice further, that was when her sister mentioned why not try out auditioning as a duet, and the twins very much liked that idea. 

And so they began to look into who was accepting trainees, and auditioning for companies. They got rejected by a few, but this did not tamper their mood, instead it made them more passionate and determined to be accepted. They practiced harder, before deciding to give a go at Plan A. They were accepted, and began to train. It wasn't even 3 months til they decided to change agencies. Haru followed her brother and was accepted into Banana Culture a few days after her brother. She wanted to be all in or nothing, but to succeed with her brother. 

Haru likes looking after her brother due to the fact that he was somewhat malnurished as their parents were not aware they were carrying twins, so the twins weren't fed enough for the two of them. So, Haru has always had a tendancy to protect her brother, and dote on him, cos she feels heavily guilty.

— Not being able to protect her brother, although she is the youngest, she has the sense of duty towards her brother, and always wants to be able to protect him.
— Lightning; her phobia sometimes keeps her up at night, and she's worried it'll get worse especially at the training camp [eventually she learns that even hearing her brothers voice whilst hugging the teddy he brought her, soothes her when he is not around and she is alone]
— Ghosts; although she knows deep down they don't exisit, she's terrified of them, but she knows to expect the ghost prank on PD, so she's prepared herself prior, and somehow manages to just flinch and not scream
— Heights; this is only when she is alone, if she's with people she knows its a managable fear

SPECIAL TALENTS.

— Is really talented with art, and creativity but she doesn't practice/show it often. Her fave type is to create nailart, and some of the other trainees often ask her to do their nails, for them
— Perfect Pitch, she can recreate a note, she takes pride in this, and was able to learn the piano by herself, before she took professional lessons later on. 
— Is good at sensing out if someone is lying, as its one of her pet peeves, Haru has actually delved deep into the arts of identifying when someone is lying/acting this has helped her in many circumstances.
— Is good at copying dances after watching it once, eagle eyes - she does this often with girl group dances

FUN FACTS.

— was born 17 minutes after, Haneul, her parents were not expecting twins, because they were a rare case of hidden twins. 
— Seems shy with strangers, but she is one rare sunflower when you get to know her, who is energetic and a moodmaker. She would put her brother before her in any.
— Sometimes she forgets she's the maknae because of her tendency to protect her brother
— She matured earlier than her age, because she lost her  parternal grandmother unexpectedly, this caused such a scar on her life; and swears to protect those she loves
— Haru idolises Nu'est and admires their courage of coming to  PD season 2, they were also part of the reason why she wanted to attend this show. She goes to all their concerts if she can, and has been a fan since their debut. Her ult bias is JR, she has a JR badge that she is seen wearing almost everywhere on the show.

Although Haneul is older than Haru, he is much more fragile especially as he was in the hospital for 20 days under the watchful eyes of doctors and nurses. Haru especially feels sorry, cos she sometimes thinks if it wasn't for them being twins he would not have been born slightly less healthy. But Haneul always reassures her, saying he is at his healthiest and she has nothing to do with his health. The twins are inseparable, they do everything together and enjoy the company of each other alot.Haru believes her one and only soulmate is Haneul.

Hayoung is only a matter of 3 years older the twins, but dotes on them as though they are toddlers to no ends. Haru loves her sister to bits, and tells her everthing. She looks up to her sister as her rolemodel, and would love to being born into a world where Hayoung is her mother.

Their first interaction was over their mutal dislike and fear of insects/bugs. Haru found one one her first day at the dorm, and ended up screaming really loudly, Ryuu came running asking what was wrong before he screamed too. Haru hid behind him, asking him to do something, it wasn't under a staff came did Haru move from behind him. She was thankful and admired how he stood there protecting her regardless of the fact that he too was scared. From that day onwards she dubbed Ryuu as her older brother, but calls him Hyung, cos Oppa is reserved for Haneul. These bond over girl group danes, and have fun trying to beat each other in who dances first.

Haru knew from the get go that Woohyuk was going to be trouble, so she warned Haneul before the showdown of his choas. They let him do his talking, and even for his entertainement pretended not to talk to each other when he was around. When it seemed to get too burdensome they told Woohyuk they knew. And although from the get go they wouldn't consdider Woohyuk as a friend, he did hate them less than everyone else. And he respects them for being honest and playing along to his scheme.

TRAINEE YEARS.

— 6 years

TRAINEE BACKGROUND. 

— Originally Haru and Haneul got accepted into Plan A as trainees, following their sister's footsteps but Haneul decided that he did not want to risk harming his sister's reputation if anything happened [within 3 months] whilst he was a trainee so he left for Banana Culture. And Haru soon followed, because for her, whether she passed or failed it would be meaningless without her brother. She was also accepted into Banana Cuture closely after Haneul. Her sister encouraged her to worry more about Haneul and not her, because she atleast had debuted and was known to the public. Haru's trainee years were hard but she practiced hard and everyone saw the tremendous difference in her vocals. From being a potential lead vocal, she managed to control her voice to the level of a big vocal range, main vocalist. She would always practice dancing and singing with Haneul slowly dreaming of debuting with her twin.

Previous experience. 

— back up dancer for EXID's Hot Pink era, this helped her to get familar with the stage and understand how to work harder under pressure, she had to keep up with really talented dancers, this helped improve her dance skills.

— "I have always been an avid fan of the show, and as a trainee always wondered what it would be like if I got the chance to enter. And when BC's CEO asked me I couldn't pass up the chance."

Are you confident in yourself?

— "In life, there is one thing you must never lack. And that is self confidence, if it goes down by even 0.1% youre on the verge of death. That's what I tell myself."

What if produce 101 have a new concept? Would you still want to join?

— "The more challenges I face, the stronger I become. I am ready for anything."

What is your specialty?

— "I'd have to say my high notes and freestyle dances with my twin"

What is your hope and goal?

— "My first and foremost goal is to ensure that whatever I chose to do, must not harm anyone else, especially my twin. I hope through this program I can become someone stronger and more independent. I hope to grow and mature everyday."

What song did you choose for your first evaluation performance?

— Oh Haru, sang Dinosaur by AKMU. She sang the song, with her twin Oh Haneul. Here. To show her dance skills, her twin and her performed this for when the judges asked if they could dance for them. They performed a remix of two songs, whilst blindfold 1 & 2. In the first clip, the white suspender is Haru, whilst the red is Haneul; in the second clip the black top is Haru, whilst the red top is Haneul.
