I seriously need help with the grammar that we're currently learning in class.

Because the teacher wasn't here for a few days.

And she only assigns us a few videos then a whole packet of grammar worksheets.

And I am totally lost. Or rather--I couldn't take in all this information and it gets messy as well.

Either way, I'm lost and is feeling kind of hopeless right now.

So, if anyone is pretty good at grammar, can you help me?

We're currently learning about phrases.

1. Participle and participle phrases.

2. Absolute Phrases

3. Gerund Phrases

4. Infinitive Phrases

I feel so confused.

At their functions and what they modify.

And I don't understand predicate nominatives.
