BACKGROUND »
Yeorin was born on 21st July 1995, in Seoul, South Korea to a wealthy family, consisting of a father, a mother and an older brother. Her father was a successful businessman, and he owned a big, succesful company. Her mother was a famous doctor, and she had a successful clinic on her own. A lot of people thought that her family was perfect, but of course,they didn't see the cracks that were forming, until they broke. Yes, her parents divorced when she was 2 years old. After a lot of arguments and disagreements, it was decided that her father would raise her older brother who was only 4 years old at the time, and her mother would raise her. Then, when she was 2 years old, a month after her birthday, they moved to Japan.
Her childhood was normal, really. Except for some bullies and all that cliches high school stories, except that it happened in elementary school. Her friends didn't really like her, because well yeah, she was very blunt, even as a kid and she was cold. Well, she had some friends, but almost all of them were boys. Girls envied her, boys liked her, teachers loved her. That was the normal life of Ahn Yeorin.
But you must be very confused. Why does she have tattoos and piercings when she was a good student? Well, people weren't kidding when they said that Japan was like, the place for gangsters and mafias, etc. When she was in Japan, she didn't have a lot of female friends, due to her cold and blunt personality, but she did have a lot of male friends. All of them taught her how to dance, mainly breakdancing, hip hop and popping, taught her how to use a skateboard, taught her how to do martial arts, and of course, taught her some self defense.
Because of her male friends, she began to grew up as a tomboyish girl. Her mother, noticing her daughter's changes, decided, after 11 years in Japan, it was time for them to move back to Korea. Yeorin was against it at first, but after she fought with her mother, she finally agreed. But because of the fight, her relationship with her mother was not the same again. Her mother became so cold to her and rarely spoke to her.
Because of that, she accepted her cousin's offer to go with him to New Zealand to study. Her mother didn't object. Her 2 years in New Zealand was not bad. Namjoon would always protect her from boys, and he walked her to school, everyday even though he was in a grade above her. In their free time, Namjoon always taught her how to rap, and in turn, Yeorin taught him how to dance. But sadly, from her horrible experience, Yeorin learned that Namjoon wasn't born for dancing.
After 2 years, she finally returned to New Zealand, only to found out that her mother had remarried. She was furious, no, absolutely furious. She ran to her mom and screamed at her, but her mom stayed quiet. After more screaming and door bangings, she ran away from home and decided to live with Namjoon's family, where she was more than welcomed. After that day, she became colder to strangers, and on her 16th birthday, she received the best birthday present from her cousin, 3 tattoos and piercings.
She was very happy when she found out that Namjoon got accepted to be a trainee at BigHit ent. Well, because her cousin was very talented, and he deserved it. She wouldn't be who she is today if it wasn't for Namjoon. He was the one who guided her, taught her everything, and because of him, she got accepted at JYP. She wanted to make him proud, and so, when she found that she was part of the new JYP Girl group line up, she was very happy and
PERSONALITY TRAITS » Mature, Caring to her friends, independent, intelligent. She often speaks bluntly, she's cold to strangers, very sensitive, cocky and a little bit arrogant, introverted, and she has trust issues.

At first sight, she seems like a cold woman that can eat you alive. Well, it's partly true, except for the eating part. She isn't cold, just closed, and a bit introverted. If you meet her at the street, don't bother to greet her. If you do, you will only be greeted by silence. She is very cold to strangers, only talks to strangers if there's important things to say.
She is cocky and a little bit arrogant too, that's why quite a lot of people doesn't like her. She is a talented dancer, and a good rapper, so she likes to boast it in front of other trainees. A lot of her hoobaes don't like her because of her arrogant attitude. But despite all that, she is very sensitive. One critic can make her down, which is not good, because she has a lot of rivals, and they can use it as an advantage.
Being raised as an only child, she was quite mature for her age. Even though she is arrogant, she often acts like the umma of the group. She always protects the other members from harm or from the media's critics. If you're her close friends, she will be very caring towards you. She is very independent. She doesn't want to burden people with her problems, she wants to solve it alone. She is afraid that people won't like her if she's too clingy.

'Jackson Wang, that cocky, arrogant little brat' that was Yeorin's first impression of Jackson. They weren't best friends at first, more like rivals in everything they did. Heck, even eating became a competition. Maybe to other people, they seemed like a young couple, being in love, but they weren't. They hated each other. Keyword hated.
Jackson is cocky, yes, even cockier than Yeorin. But his cockiness has a good reason. Being a fencing gold medalist, and has the talent in dancing, rapping and martial arts, people doesn't even dare to mess with him. He is respected by his hoobaes. He looked like an arrogant person on the outside, but if you're close to him, that is not his true personality. Actually, he is just a big dork that you want to squish him so much you can die from his squishiness. and yeah, one thing, he likes to bluff.
Jackson is the type of person who doesn't like to show his true personality to strangers. Sure, he looks cool in front of camera, a little bit of bluffing here and there, but he is actually a softie. He is very talkative that you want to tape his mouth. Jackson is also the mood maker, always doing crazy things to make people laugh. Some people labeled him as fake, but he doesn't care. He is also very competitive. Once he sulked for a long when he lost to Yeorin in a rap battle. Of course after 3 days he was back to his normal, annoying self.
CURRENT RELATIONSHIP »
The first time they met was not the best first meeting. Like people said, 'put fire with fire, makes a bigger fire'. In this case, Jackson was like fire and Yeorin was like fire too, they didn't blend well. Yeorin was cocky and arrogant and cold, while Jackson was cocky, competitive and talkative. They were rivals. They would often had a dance off or a rap battle with the other trainees as judges. Yeorin was not afraid of dissing people with her rap, and Jackson as well. The two of them were so famous among JYP trainees, even their fellow trainees started shipping them. Of course, they were oblivious.
They became close friends during the time they spent together. They were so close that Jackson knew about her families and background. Yeorin was not afraid to tell him because he had gained her trust, and she knew that he could keep her secrets. They spent a lot of time together. There were 2 well known unwritten rules among the trainees. The first one was 'only Wang Jackson that can make Ahn Yeorin laugh' and the second one was 'mess with Ahn Yeorin, you mess with Wang Jackson'. They both was feared and respected because of their skills and seniority among the trainees.
Yeorin was very happy when it was announced that Jackson would debut with GOT7. Well, Jackson was not happy because he would soon leave her alone, but Yeorin promised him that she would soon join him. She promised that she would be his first fan and she would support GOT7. Jackson just smiled at her. Yeorin was really oblivious. Everybody knew that Jackson was interested in her. Heck, even JYP himself knew. But a man could only hope. Jackson hoped that Yeorin could realize his feelings for her.
