⟪ PERSONALITY ⟫

(+) Bubbly, Friendly, Child hearted and Honest - She tends to be bubbly and cheerful, and may always be seen bouncing around, just being happy like a child. Aemin can easily make friends and is very welcoming towards other people. She is also very honest where she says what's on her mind, but tries to sweeten it up if it's something bad.

(+) Adaptive and Competitive - Aemin easily adapts to situations. Whenever she's at a business party, she easily becomes gentle and calm unlike her true personality. She tends to be really competitive at times and she hates losing, causing her to do whatever it takes to win.

(+) Passionate and Hardworking - Whenever it's about something Aemin loves, she becomes really passionate about it and works hard. She tries her best with the things and people she loves, and will never give up.

(-) Rebellious and Reckless - When it comes to things she doesn't like, Aemin becomes rebellious. She dislikes studying too much and being too serious, which causes her to be rebellious and run away from some of her lessons and from things she doesn't want to do. Aemin does everything just to not do what she doesn't like and sometimes she does wrong things accidentally which causes her to be called "reckless".

(-) Stubborn and Manipulative - When Aemin is decided on doing and not doing something, she sticks with her decision, and will keep on fighting when people refuses her decision. She won't do anything she doesn't like, and will rarely give in to the things she doesn't want. Due to this, Aemin tends to become manipulative and easily manipulates the people around her into doing anything she wants whether it by aegyo, money or threat.

(-) Prideful and Secretive - Aemin hates losing and doesn't give up easily. She tends to become a fighter because of her pride. Aemin also doesn't approach people first and lets them approach her first, excluding those whom she's already close friends with. Aemin dislikes being looked down on, and because of this she tends to become secretive and hide some of the things she feels and thinks, like love and shyness, or anything that could damage her pride.

⟪ BACKGROUND ⟫

Aemin is the youngest child of Im Junghoon, CEO of Hanim Company, and Kim Ayoung, former model and current model trainer. Hanim Company was first started by her grandfather, Im Junghoon's father, at Jeju Island. It started as a small toy store called "Im's Toy Store". Throughout the years, with hardwork, the toy store became famous in Jeju Island mainly because of its unique toy designs. Soon, the company expands to Seoul, South Korea where Aemin's grandfather meets the CEO of Han Electronics and Mechanics, a company focused on electronics and vehicles. Their friendship strengthens and years after, the Han Electronics and Mechanics and Im's Toy Store merges and becomes "Hanim Company", a company focused on providing vehicles and products with great mechanisms and designs, which started the long term friendship with the Han family. Aemin's father met her mother at one of the company parties, where she was in talks of being a promotional model. A year after Aemin's father was crowned the CEO of Hanim Company, due to the Han family being unable to conceive a male child, Aemin's parents got married and soon gave birth to her older brother.

Aemin's family was taking a trip to Jeju Island, where she was born. They stayed there for a few months before going back to Seoul. Due to the Han and the Im's friendship, Aemin quickly became friends with Han Yuji, a member of the Han family, whom she grew up with. Growing up, Aemin was forced to learn piano, drawing and ballet as it was a basic for "high born ladies". Though Aemin wasn't the heir to the company, her father still insisted on teaching her some hobbies, as well as the english language. When Aemin was only 5 years old, her mother filed a divorce against and her father due to his workaholic trait and inability to treat her well. Aemin flew to Jeju Island, where she resumed modeling and soon taught models, while Aemin and her brother stayed with her father due to business terms. When Aemin was 10, she met her brother's friend, Hyungshik, also a heir to his parents' company,  who also becomes one of her closest friends. Once Aemin's brother turned 18, it was announced to the press that he was going to inherit the company, causing him to have added lessons and a small part in the company in order to prepare in taking over the company. Aemin's brother grew apart from her and Aemin starts her 'rebellion' with only dancing as her 'friend'. Aemin skipped classes and refused to attend some company parties to attend her dance lessons and to watch the latest dance battles.

- Aemin loves doing skinship and is very comfortable in doing it with other people.

- She hates seafood and drinking alcohol.

- She's never been in a relationship before.

- Dancing and music is the only thing she's really passionate about and most of her 'rebellious' acts are because of dancing. Ballet is her mastered dance, but she has been interested in hip hop dance and poppin lately and tries to learn it. She's also very amazed at b-boying but has no guts to learn it.

- She hates smoking.

- Aemin prefers simple stuff, dates, and events (ex. stuff toys, chocolates, date at the amusement park, movie date)

- She loves watching musicals. It was introduced to her when one of their business partners invited them to a musical when she was 10.

- She was forced to study piano, drawing and ballet to look perfect and admirable to other companies. It was then that she fell in love with dancing. Though when Aemin grew up, she decided to focus on dancing but her father refused, wanting her to focus on their business as well.

- Being the daughter of one of South Korea's most successful businessmans, Aemin gained one passionate fanboy whom she frequently used to sneak out on her father.

Kangjun thinks of Aemin as a business partner, though being matched up, causing him to have a business attitude on their dates and always tries his best to impress her in a high class way. Aemin on the other finds Kangjun's business attitude as boring.

⟪ HISTORY ⟫

Kangjun is Hyungshik's friend, while Aemin and Hyungshik are friends. They knew each other through the television and from the other companies but they formally meet at the matchmaking party and strangely gets paired up together.

Aemin has inherited a lot of traits from her mother, including her love for arts. She frequently visits her mother in Jeju Island and would bring her brother at times. Though she's known as rebellious, she has her way of making her family think fondly of her. Because she's the only daughter, her grandmother has a soft spot for her. Aemin is quite a hopless romantic but being the prideful person she is, she wouldn't admit it.

When she was 15, Aemin gained her first fanboy, Yu Wooyoung. Aemin just finished school when the boy appeared, and gave her a box of chocolates. Aemin was surprised and was about to accept it when one of the security guards told her not to. She then left the school and went home only to find Wooyoung there as well. At that moment, Aemin got scared. Wooyoung would frequently wait for Aemin after school and would sometimes wait outside their house just to see her and give her a present. At first, Aemin was afraid of seeing Wooyoung outside her house and school, but as time passed, she got used to it. Aemin, now, feels comfortable around Wooyoung though Wooyoung still feels tensed around her at times. Aemin had also used Wooyoung to get out of trouble numerous times. She would make him distract the maids and the guards while she sneaks out of their house and would make him lie to some people so that she could do what she wants. Aemin would casually greet Wooyoung while Wooyoung would always stutter. Aemin actually sees Wooyoung as her friend, but at the same time fanboy.
