APPEARANCE ) Shinsuke is a relatively skinny type of guy although he does have a bit of muscles. He stands at 172cm and weighs 57kg. Currently, his hair is black, and he has no thought of dying it. His eyes are a dark shade of brown. He has one piercing on both his ears. He also have two moles, one on each collarbone. His skin is a light brown colour due to the time when he excercised outdoors.

STYLE ) Shinsuke has an obsession with accessories. He is always seen wearing a bracelet, necklace, some rings, earrings, and even earcuffs! He has a box for each category of accessories and he treats them like his prized possessions. His choice of clothes, however, doesn't really have a pattern. He wears what his parents and friends bought for him. He wears what others say he look good in. Basically, he wears everything and anything.

PERSONALITY )

Shinsuke accepts many things and are doesn't really care to question some things. For example, he takes homouality as perfectly normal. He is also flexible, as in easily adaptable and consider others' opinion seriously. For example, the way he so naturally picked up Korean without even trying to stop his mother from remarrying. He believed that his stepfather was really worthy of his mother and deems her as able to make her own decisions. He's also very tolerant and able to stay calm in aggravating situations. If a younger member was being annoying by clinging to him, he would just let the kid have his way with him until he grew tired of being annoying. Shinsuke is also one with tight lips. You can tell him all your secrets and rest assured that he wouldn't speak of it to anyone else. Although sometimes he don't say it because he forgot about it...

 

However, Shinsuke is actually quite aimless and indecisive. Since he's used to his mother making choices for him, he feels uneasy to make choices, not only for others but for himself as well. He's cautious with those things as well. He will think for very long about what coukd happen for what choice although he's not that calculative when another person is making the decision for him. However, he's also a gullible target for scams and he hasn't disappointed the conmans one bit. Once, a stranger came and introduced himself as a scout from SM Entertainment and made him sign a faux contract which he was about to willingly do if not for his stepbrother who forcefully dragged him way. Shinsuke gets jealous quite easily. When his stepbrother was given a guitar and drum set, he strived to make himself better than him and played the instruments when his brother was away. His jealousy is also the things that drove most of his friends away. He would not admit it but whenever he felt jealous, it was obvious as he would give short answers and appear to be sulking. It's also very difficult to get him to stop liking something... or even someone! For example, if he looks to Min Dohee as his ideal type, her name is the only one which he'll say when someone asks who his ideal type is.

HISTORY )

 

Shinsuke's birth father used to play with him at home while his mother was out working to earn money. However, that was before Shinsuke's first day of school when he was 7 years old. They were late and so they resorted to jaywalking which led to a car accident that left Shinsuke in hospital for several months and his father in a coffin. Once he was out of the hospital, his father's funeral was already long over and his mother seemed even more distant. Shinsuke, who used to be a cheerful child, also became quiet and sullen. His mother went to work earlier than usual and came back later than usual as well.

 

Having no one to accompany him at home, Shinsuke would stay in the library until he was hungry. He ate lots of fast food and soon he became chubby. That lead to the start of bullying in school. So he started skipping school and spending his time infront of the computer instead. On the internet, he wasn't the fatty Shinsuke nor the Shinsuke who was forsaken by his parents. On the internet, he was simply an induvidual without any parents or bullies to make him feel lonely. On the internet, he also had no choice but to encounter Kpop as it was so popular. At first, he was annoyed by it but later, he got curious and searched up 'Super Junior' and that was how he became addicted.

 

While Shinsuke was busy being awed by Kpop stars, his mother was away on a business trip to Korea. There, she met someone and when Shinsuke was 14, she had him fly over and told him that she was remarrying, whether he liked it or not. So Shinsuke gained a stepfather and a stepbrother. His stepbrother for his body and the fact that they were in the same class didn't help ( Shinsuke was retained once in Japan for skipping school too many times and retained again in Korea for transferring in in the middle of the semester ). Feeling that he needed to change,not only for his own sake but for his mother's reputation as well, Shinsuke started staying back in school to excercise. He slowly lost weight without even realising it.

 

One day, Shinsuke's stepbrother came home exclaiming that he was going to be famous. He boasted about passing an audition for FNC Entertainment and their parents were impressed. They bought a Guitar and Drum set for him to practice and boasted about it to all the neighbours. Jealous of all the attention, Shinsuke self-taught himself some songs and performed for his neighbours in his backyard before being scouted by KB Entertainment (after being almost conned as said in his personality ) in February of 2013.

PRESENT )

 

Presently, Shinsuke lives in an apartment (two rooms + small living room + kitchen) with his brother and a cousin ( from mother side and came to Korea to be an idol ) who are under different companies. It's between the studio ( for KB Entertainment ) and their school ( which is an international school btw ). Their day starts with waking up to alarms and getting ready for school. After school, they go straight to their respective companies to practice. Shinsuke usually practice from 1pm to 10pm but that's for in the studio. He practice outside the studio as well, usually at home or at school when he believes he's alone. For days when there's no school, they usually wake up at 6am and go to the gym to excercise for an hour. Then, they go to their respective companies again and practice from 7am to 10pm.
