Traits:
As much as possible, Johwa tries to find and balance out her positive and negative traits. The mindset that doing this will improve her as a learning person stuck to her, and she keeps it in mind. She is determined to achieve her tasks to the best of her abilities and never settles for less than near perfect. Sometimes, it can be tiring, but she has learned through vigorous training that with determination, anyone can do it too. She has a hot temper that she inherited from her mother, which causes her to be moody at times, what with the smallest things getting on her nerves. But to balance this out, she jokes around with her friends to hopefully get rid of it. Luckily for her, it works oftentimes. When it doesn't, she has her friends to back her up, so she doesn't worry about it too much.
When she's in a good mood, she gets talkative, especially with the people she has a close relationship with. This is part of the reasons why she habitually judges others too easily by first impression. In line with this, she is also overprotective of her loved ones in a way that at times, she tends to invade their personal life when she thinks that something about it is wrong. Her being judgmental comes in this in situations where boys she doesn't like for their attitude get too close to one of her girl friends, and the like. But as it should, her negative first impressions wear off if she gets to know and understand the person better. Above all, she grew very close to music since her childhood with her parents' encouragement. Since then, she has dreamed to have a career in the entertainment industry when she grew up, and currently, she's happy that she finally has a chance to fulfill that dream.
Johwa was born in a family of musicians; her mother worked as a pianist for various events across Korea, her father was a newly-retired guitarist of a well-known Korean band in the early 90's, and her older brother was also part of her high school's official band. It was no surprise that she took an interest in music like them. With her parents' influence, she started to learn playing instruments like the violin and guitar, and become known for performing for both her elementary and secondary schools. Keeping her studies in check with all her musical work, she was always quite the busy student. Nonetheless, everything was in place because her family was there to help her. She acquired a group of friends at school who liked music just like her, and they had a particular interest in Korean pop music. She grew to love this genre of music as well with their help.
On the summer after her 16th birthday, she and her older brother, who was 18 at that time, decided with their parents' full support and permission that they wanted to audition for YG Entertainment. Luckily, YGE was open anytime for personal auditions, so with their parents' connections, they set for a train ride from Gangwon-do to Seoul a week after they prepared everything, which Johwa considered was harder than all of her schoolwork ever combined. Johwa auditioned her singing and dancing talent, while her brother auditioned his guitarist and vocalist skills. It turned out that her brother's audition wasn't enough for the agency, but her talents were. At first, Johwa was reluctant to move on as a trainee without her brother, but he assured her that he would be alright watching with their parents at a distance, and her being a trainee would bring great pride to their family. That was enough for her to go.
Johwa and her family moved to Seoul to keep their communication stable while she was busy training, and for the first few weeks, she had no problem with the communication. Her training was quite difficult, but she handled it as best she could. She still had the time after every day to go home to her parents, albeit at late night. Korean pop was becoming more and more familiar to her as 3 years of vigorous training came and passed, so she was surprised one day while she and her co-trainees were training when one of her trainers at YGE came with the famous boy group from Big Hit Entertainment, BTS. She knew them because she has danced to a couple of their songs for training before. They announced right then and there that they were to take a few trainees from YGE to their current agency, Big Hit.
Johwa's trainer told them after that he had been preparing for BTS' arrival by observing each of the trainees and how their training was going. He said he already referred the trainees he thought were the best among all of them to BTS, so they personally called those trainees out. Boy, was Johwa surprised when her name was the first to be called out! Along with a few other female trainees, she went to the Big Hit building with BTS, who told them that they were to audition again for Big Hit this time. Johwa auditioned the same memorable song she did when she first auditioned for YGE, only much better now because of the training. When the results were announced long after her audition, for the second time in her life, she was chosen to be a trainee again!

- the unknown (because she is still in the overthinking stage of the average female, she often thinks about what's in store for her in the near and unknown future, and she imagines it'll not always be all rainbows and butterflies ahead)
- watching music videos (because it's not enough for her to like a song; to complete it, she must watch the music video of the song if there's one, and/or a dance video of it that she could learn)
- writing (because when she can't dance, sing, or rap, writing songs for herself or any other composition, really, is the best way for her to express the emotions inside her)
- practicing and enhancing her talents (because she believes that although some people continuously praise her for how good she is at what she does and say she already has it all, she still has a lot of things to learn on the way and she should strive to work harder to please herself and everyone more)
- hanging out with her groupmates, family and friends (because her loved ones' presence makes her feel happy inside and out, and is more than enough to make her every day and motivate her to make all of them proud of her)
- tidying her workspaces up repeatedly (because she's slightly a neat freak, as stated in the Dislikes section)
- absentmindedly singing and dancing to songs on her own in public (simply because she can't help it)
- talking too loudly (because sometimes, she doesn't notice that she's a bit too zealous about some things)
- Johwa was once so girly in her elementary days -- you can see it in her old stuff which were almost all pink -- but now she just laughs it off because it's different from how she acts now.
- Johwa was originally going to be named Myujik by her father, but her mother disagreed because she was afraid Johwa might not like it when she grew up.
- Johwa's favorite uncle is blood-related to Korea's current president, Park Geunhye. She has met her a few times because of this.
- Johwa also got a score of 850 in her TOEIC when she was in high school, like BTS' Rap Monster. Until now, she continues to study English and can speak it fairly well.
- In the course of her training, Johwa had lost 4.5kg from working out by dancing and exercising regularly.

Jungkook was the golden maknae of BTS, who always had jokes up his sleeve to entertain his groupmates. He loved them like family, along with his other close friends in the agency. He depended on his hyungs a lot, and that included when it came to his love life. He had never dated anyone before, so when he's feeling something different toward a girl, he often asked his hyungs for help. Despite his cluelessness about girls, he knew in himself that if he found the one girl to make him happy forever, he was to cherish her and give her the unconditional love she deserved, whoever she turned out to be.
Jungkook was actually the one who called Johwa's name out when they were looking for trainees at YG. Since then, he always found her beautiful and talented, so he was not surprised when she was accepted again as a trainee for his group's agency, Big Hit Entertainment. Because they had the same talents and positions, they were often paired together during training (in spite of the age difference), which made them grow closer as friends... or will it develop into something more?
