when it comes to style, serin's quite easygoing. she doesn't wear that much color and just stays with her neutral tones. the only exception to when she'll wear bright colors is when she's at work. when she's at work, she'll wear a very loose shirt (literally droops down her shoulders all the time) and some black yoga pants. with work, she wants to have as much flexibility as she can; she does not want to be constricted by clothing. although with days off and casual days, serin goes as minimal as possible; a t-shirt, pants, and a pair of sneakers is the usual outfit serin will go to. she isn't too keen on jewelry, but hats are her love. whenever she's having a bad hair day, beanies and snapbacks save her life.

 

 

 

 

    

"y, free, and single, I'm ready too, bingo!" - when you first meet serin, she's like a ball of energy. she's always smiling and is constantly laughing over the most stupid things ever. she's the person who would laugh if you said pudding. sometimes, people think she's a nut because she laughs to herself, mumbling words in the corner. serin's quite sane though, she just enjoys life to the fullest. like her older cousin, serin's very carefree. she doesn't worry and stress over simple things. she just takes everything head on. she isn't one to think, she just "does". no matter where she is, she tries to lighten up the atmosphere by singing weirdly and doing weird dances. serin's a person with no shame. she doesn't care if you judge her with dirty glares. the only thing she'll ask is why your face looks so gloomy. 

 

"your face looks off, wanna have some fun?" - besides being a bumbling buffoon at times, serin's wild. she lives her life in the fast lane, racing through life with no fear. as everyone who knows serin, she is a reckless woman who has no filter. she says what she wants and does what she wants. although, she's not rude about her actions; well, that's not her intention. serin might be a little blunt and outspoken with her weird comments, but she doesn't mean any harm. she's not trying to be mean or anything; she just says what she sees. if she notices that you look dead and miserable, she'll question it without a doubt. she'll ask why you looks so pale, but she won't insult you with hurting words. she's just concerned on why you look so sick and frail.

 

"whoa, this is so cool!" - with a loud and chaotic personality like serin's, it isn't a surprise that she's very animated and quirky. see, serin's not your average twenty one year old. she thinks outside of the box. when you talk to her, you might just get lost in her nonsense theories. many people on el dorado have commented how serin is like yixing's long lost twin. she's the probably the only person to understand what the hell yixing is actually saying. besides being yixing's long lost sister, serin's quite enthusiatic about life. her cousin tells everyone that she fears nothing and no one (could be possible), but everyone has their fears. serin just tends to face fear with a smile. for some reason, serin loves danger; that's what chiji says. serin just really likes the adrenaline run that courses through her body; she's a huge adrenaline junkie.

 

"she's a nut, but she's our nut." - even though serin is quite an idiot with her careless ways, you can't help but smile along with her. her smile is very contagious. she may annoy with her weird actions, but she doesn't care. she's just gonna do her and live life the way she wants. serin's the type to not take things seriously and lives life lightheartedly. she might be a complete loony with her made up theories and constant giggles, but you'll get used to her crazy antics. she's just serin and that's what charms people; she isn't afraid to be herself.

 

  

 

as serin become more involved with sports, her parents were extremely supportive of her. they would always go to her games and scream for serin whenever she made a goal. even though the other parents would complain about her parents' loud screams, serin felt very loved. her parents always spoiled her with love and treated her with the utmost care. as the years went on, serin lived a very normal life in seoul. she was the head captain of the girls' soccer team and worked hard as a student. to her parents, education was very important. after graduating highschool, serin went back to japan to study sports and fitness administration for her bachelor's degree. within three and a half years, serin was able to graduate early through extra summer classes and credit exams. for serin, she wanted out as fast as possible so she worked her bum off to graduate.

after moving back to seoul and settling herself in a small apartment that she shares with her older cousin, serin's career in fitness began to fly once her parents introduced her to new clients who were eager to met her. for a couple of months, serin worked with multiple entertainment agencies in seoul, helping them with healthy diet plans and proper exercise routines. as of right now, serin's pretty much chilling in her apartment, looking for new clients to hire her.

 

  

out of everyone in her life, no one knows serin better than her good old cousin, shin. ever since serin was born, shin treated her like she was his little sister. since both of them had no siblings, they depended on each other and created this huge bond that no one could break. even though shin is six years older than serin, they don't even feel it. when they're around each other, they both act like ten years old and giggle at the most stupid things together. whenever serin's around him, he's very affectionate with her; giving her big hugs, patting her head, the works. with tons of things in common, shin and serin are a duo to be reckon with. as a person, shin is a very open-minded guy who likes to take long swims to clear his mind whenever he feels stressed. when you first met shin, you might think he's some kind of rebel by the way he dresses, but he's a pretty chill person. he's quite easy-going and just goes with the flow. he hates drama and doesn't like to meddle into people's lives unless it's serin because serin is literally his precious little sister. when it comes to serin, if anyone harms her or touches her in a weird way, you best believe that shin will hunt you down and strangle you with his bare hands. if you mess with serin, you mess with shin; they're a package deal.

 

  

known as cheese or cheesy, ahn chiji is the other older and shorter half of the "rinji" duo. when they're together, they become this unstoppable pair of buddies who train and motivate each other. since they are both fitness instructors, they're always telling each other silly gym puns. one thing chiji especially loves is gossip. even though serin's always telling her to stop meddling into peoples' lives, chiji literally can't stop. her urge to know everything overpowers her urge to stop; her curiousity is too troublesome sometimes. living up to her name of being an old ahjumma, chiji's quite motherly and tends to baby anyone whose younger than her. she'll literally pinch your cheeks and coo at you with hesitation. she might be a little naggy and scold you when you do something stupid, but she means well. with chiji, serin feels more energetic than she normally is and always has a smile on her face. chiji is like serin's vitamin when she's down. unlike her relationship with shin, serin goes to chiji for advice and can tell her anything without being scared that she'll go after the person and strangle to death (ahem, shin!).

 

  

known as the soccer squad, kim minseok, luhan, and serin are the three members in charge of it. it was first started when minseok and luhan came up to serin, introducing themselves to her. once they got the conversation going, minseok and luhan were able to find out that serin liked soccer as much as they did. after fanboying and squealing like young teenage girls, they created the soccer squad. it's official alright; they even have their own chat group on their phones named "soccer gods". besides obsessing over soccer, serin found the two to be quite endearing and fell for their funny charms. although chiji and shin aren't as fond of them as serin is because they both think that they're getting replaced by a pair of idiots. well, shin's just jealous that there's a possibility of them stealing his spot in serin's heart. when the trio is together, you can always bet that the dance studio will turn into a strip club due to minseok's dancing skills and luhan and serin throwing money at him, praising his dance skills. 

 

  

although minseok and luhan are her soccer squd buddies, the closest person to serin on el dorado besides shin and chiji is zhang yixing; her long lost brother. serin may be loud and wild, totally unlike yixing, but when you combine the two, you get a pair of hidden geniuses. whenever they're together, they're constantly making up theories about life and how unicorns are actually real, but the scientists in norway are keeping them hidden from the world. yup, serin and yixing are one; one mind, two bodies. if you don't see serin with shin or chiji, you can probably find serin with yixing, chatting about nonsense. with these two, it is just a whole confusing mess of words being splat out. nobody but them really understand what the two are talking about most of the time; just nod and smile.

 

 

 

 

"don't trust him, serin! he's satan!" - despite luhan's words about kyungsoo, serin found kyungsoo to be very adorable. in her eyes, kyungsoo was this cute little awkward penguin who just needed some loving. even though everyone told her that kyungsoo was like the devil's spawn, serin just went up to him and introduced herself to him. she even commented on how cute he was. despite luhan's belief that kyungsoo was going to kill her on the spot, kyungsoo just smiled at her and chuckled. once kyungsoo smiled at her, serin smiled and continued talking to him; that's how serin and kyungsoo first met.

 

"pengu, where's my pengu!" - whenever serin sees kyungsoo, she immediately greets him with a hug and pats him on the head. at first, kyungsoo found it kind of awkward but at the same time, he liked the way serin would look at him. she would always greet him with such a genuine smile and laugh whenever he made a stupid joke. despite being older than her, he felt like she was the older one, alwaying patting his head and calling him cute nicknames. kyungsoo thought that he was gonna get annoyed by serin, but oddly enough, he really liked serin. not only was she fun to be around, she wasn't afraid to be herself. after getting to know serin and her quirks, kyungsoo started to feel romantic feelings towards her. even though she wasn't exactly ladylike, she had a pretty laugh that charmed him.

 

"I like her because she's unique, but she doesn't know." - although kyungsoo sublty shows serin how he feels about her, serin is still oblivious as hell. you literally have to tell serin that you like her in order for her to get it. while kyungsoo's trying to show her his feelings, serin's completely unaware of the situation. she actually thinks that yeonsoo and kyungsoo are gonna hook up. in her eyes, the "double soo" ship is already sailing. even though she doesn't want to admit it, she really likes kyungsoo. instead of finding her weird, kyungsoo accepted her flaws and made her feel like a "true human". in spite of the fact that serin likes kyungsoo, she puts her feelings off for yeonsoo because she knows that yeonsoo also likes kyungsoo. after talking to chiji about her feelings about kyungsoo, chiji told her that she was competition with yeonsoo. she wasn't the only one who liked kyungsoo. since serin was unsure of her feelings, she started to put off her feelings for kyungsoo. she tried to stop her feelings from growing, but every time she sees him, she just falls back and the feelings grow even more.

 

"I like you!" - after weeks of contemplating his decision and building up the courage to confess, kyungsoo was finally able to confess to serin when they were alone. it was when kyungsoo had dragged serin to a section of the "poop deck" where they could see the ocean. since it was evening time, the stars were out and everything looked beautiful. while holding her hand, kyungsoo placed her hand on his chest, telling her what she felt. at first, serin was confused on what kyungsoo was doing, but finally got the message when she could feel his heartbeat rapidly beating. kyungsoo soon confessed to serin, telling her that he fell for her flaws and would like it if she would go on a date with him. after a couple of dates, kyungsoo asked serin to be his girlfriend and she accepted.

 

 

 

 

 

   

when they first met, serin really liked yeonsoo. she thought that she was adorable and even patted her head, telling her how cute she was. for a while, they got along very well. yeonsoo would always greet serin with a smile and wave when she saw her. although things quickly changed when yeonsoo discovered serin's close friendship to kyungsoo. ever since she started working at el dorado, she's had a crush on kyungsoo. in her eyes, kyungsoo and her were met to be together; if only if she had the courage to confess to him though. after seeing serin hug kyungsoo, something in yeonsoo just snapped. in yeonsoo's eyes, serin was a threat. there could be the possibly of serin liking kyungsoo, but she was way off; kyungsoo liked serin instead. since yeonsoo was one of kyungsoo's close friends, he confided in her about how he had romantic feelings for serin.
