Due to recent events I've had an influx of possible story ideas based upon things happening in the media. I have every intention of writing these stories but I'm still unsure of whether or not I'd like to post them. The reason being, they'd connect to tragedies and I would like to avoid, if possible, all the hateful and negative backlash that I am well aware will happen when people start disagreeing with the opinions that will be present.

My question to you is, Would the enlightenment on the subjects through fictional characters be worth all of the negativity?
