At the first glance, Meiying is that “pretty girl who doesn’t talk much”. And it actually describes her façade to the general public. She’s polite, friendly and is actually willing to hold up a conversation, but she looks quite apathetic and unresponsive most of the time due to her straight facial expression. She doesn’t usually break the ice first unless needed, but still, go ahead; speak to her.

  When you first talk to her, she speaks cautiously and seriously, sometimes not even making eye contact with you. Though that’s only because she is quite shy and soft-spoken, and it takes a while for her to open up herself to people. Once you successfully get her to crawl out of her little shell, she would gradually become more adaptable and talkative in front of a person she can trust. Soon enough, she would be treating you like a good friend. Don’t let her sweet exterior fool you though; if needed, she can be sneaky and quite cunning. Nonetheless, Meiying proves herself to be a good person inside and out. Calm, caring, patient and sisterly like, she likes the feeling of taking care of something — or someone.

  Watch out though, she has her limits and of course, negative traits. She’s not hot-tempered, but can be really feisty and even argumentative when the time calls for it to. She’s also not a risk-taker, and is too cowardly to face her fears, even the simplest ones like the darkness or disgusting looking insects. When under pressure of any kind, she can be panicky and unable to think straight: instead of being a helping hand, she would have had become a burden. Also because of her shyness, she rarely has any good friends — is labeled as a loner most of the time. She doesn’t mind much though— more peace and quiet, she would jokingly say.
