Style — Not too fancy and not too casual - a simply noticeable fashion sense. Kinda following the trending style but she didn't go overboard like a princess-model-over-the-top, nope. She's normally fine with any clothes that seems comfortable and touchable to her pure soft skin. More into hipster, streetwear, and modern boyish outfits but she'd make sure it looks matched on her baby-face and small body. Personality — At the first glance, Melli is that “pretty girl who doesn’t talk much”. And it actually describes her façade to the general public. She’s polite, friendly and is actually willing to hold up a conversation, but she looks quite apathetic and unresponsive most of the time due to her shyness. She doesn’t usually break the ice first unless needed, but still, go ahead; speak to her.

When you first talk to her, she speaks cautiously, sometimes not even making eye contact with you. Though that’s only because she is quite shy and soft-spoken, and it takes a while for her to open up herself to people. Once you successfully get her to crawl out of her little shell, she would gradually become more cheerful and enthusiastic in front of a person she can trust. Soon enough, she would be treating you like a good friend. Don’t let her sweet exterior fool you though; if needed, she can be sneaky and quite cunning. Background — Brought up in a normal, run-of-the-mill middle class family in the year 1993, twenty-thirth of September, this little darling was born to a hard-working architecture father and intelligent florist mother. Maybe unlike others, but she was actually brought up well and good-mannered. Because of her parents being frequently out of the house, sometimes even out of the town and had no finances to go anywhere else, except her school. She has then generally gotten used to this kind of lifestyle.

However, she'll never give up to contacted or texting her fellow schoolmates, classmates, and close friends. Her parents would get worrying if she hang out with them. Within these situation, she prefers to stay inside the house or maybe asking her friends to come over her house and accompanying her — sometimes, they do sleep-over and doing assignments/homeworks together. Her parents sending her to a ballet class when she reaches her age of 9.

There's this one time where she found out a South Korean's pop girl groups called Baby VOX and Jewelry attracting her attention. She learned the vocal singing slowly and even studies the step of their dances. Keeping up her dance skills from ballerina into somewhat jazz, hip-hop and a new-trending ones. After knowing Son Dam Bi and After School debuting, she immediately tells her parents to try auditioning. They gave her a permission to do so. Personality — Amber Liu is a free soul, carelessly living her life the way she wants it to be. Always a family person, she is very close to her parents and respecting the elders. At first glance, she makes strangers think she’s a cold and arrogant person when the truth is she is surprisingly a talkative young girl who likes to joke around a lot. Laughter and smiles follows her like a shadow everywhere she goes. She is also loved by the elders, often charming them with her kind and respectful attitude. Being the typical AB blood type, she is the mixture of both ; introverted and extroverted. Both outgoing and shy, she is a bit unpredictable at times. Usually she is more of a loud and boisterous type of person rather than being quiet or timid. She adores reading novels and poetry as much as she loves strumming her guitar on her free time.

First Meeting — They haven't know each other yet until Lovely Girlz debuted and Minjoo showed up to handing her group's album CD to F(x) but there was empty in their waiting room, so she was thinking to leave when she turns around to see a figure belonged to a tomboyish girl named Amber staring down at her. Amber asked what's the matter, and Melli excitedly gave her the autographed album, the moment Melli shifts her eyes to Amber's sweaty face because of long practices, it makes Melli had something beaten in her heart. Her cheeks starts redden the sooner Amber wipes her sweat and thankfully smiles at the younger. Melli gulped, bows and excused herself to leaving Amber behind.

Interactions — Both of them loves annoying each other's mood. Once this tomboy Amber gets bored, she'll comments on Melli's Instagram photos with some jokes that could make her mad. Amber is kinda naughty and mischievous around her friends, especially when this younger girl came. Amber pulls pranks and jokes, in case to see Melli's mad and feisty expression to hit her or chasing each other's tail like a friendly kittens. At first, they could be awkward but as Amber broke Melli's shell, they has grown- well, not really grown up, they are probably just entering kindergarten.

A fair amount of people have called him annoying and a pest, but he doesn’t care.

First Meeting — They met at a foot stall. Amber took Henry to take a walk and suddenly they came across on the opposite direction, Amber's sharp eyes saw her young friend and calling Melli to come over. Amber initiate an introduction between the man named Henry and the girl named Melli. They were having lots of fun times but however, Henry couldn't get a chance to talk or having a space with Melli because of Amber's interruption standing in the middle between Henry and Melli. A few hours later, Amber excused to go toilet, and that's when Henry approached Melli.

Interactions — The opposite situation from Amber's. He is so kind and acts romantically around Melli, which causes her to be uncomfortable and inconvenient with his lovey-dovey conversation and much surprises. He bought her chocolates, candies, flowers, and many more to attached her heart but unfortunately, she didn't felt anything for him. She only love him like her own brother or somewhat a good friend. It hurts his feeling of course, but she can't force herself to love someone. They might be close but Amber keep interrupting their interactions.

Trainee Life — Occasionally, from time to time, everything doesn't seem too extremely firm or impenetrable but it went strictly stressed when she keeps being a victim to some bullies. They teases and make fun of her because they wasn't behave their behavior and receiving jealous feels whenever they sees Melli gets so much good compliments from their coach. Day by day, she has been used to their judgements and whiny complains until they get tired and giving up. They were eliminated from being an official trainee, that's a good news for Melli.

Nevertheless, she would never forget about school and her high school's graduation. She enrolled in Seoul University and taking course Music. Managing the schedules and time-table to matches attending training classes and lessons. Once she has been approved as an official Pledis' family, she felt so warmful to be embraced in Kahi's arms. The new families welcomed her in full of tender. Feels like home.
