             Aiden is very tall, and slender. Standing at a height of 182 cm, he pretty much towers over everyone. He is very strong, despite his looks, so underneath all that clothes are relatively lean muscles. He wears fake plastic glasses to add on that nerdy/dorky image. He doesn't have any tattoos but he does have one small ear lobe piercing that is almost unnoticable.  He constantly changes his hair color for his comebacks, so currently it is blonde.

           Aiden tends to wear the same clothes in his dorm to practice to the airport. He doesn't really change it up that often. Often, he can be seen in a pair of skinny jeans, a plaid shirt over a plain white tshirt and sneakers.  At the airport, he dresses it up  a bit and rocks a jacket or hoodie along with a printed shirt. When it's time to clean up for formal events like MAMA or Melon Awards, he goes with a white suit, or a white shirt with black pants and black shoes. Accessories wise, he typically wears a Bulova watch and sunglasses.

            To say that Aiden isn’t a bit dorky offstage would be an understatement. He’s true to his persona and that is he is dorky off and on stage. Constantly laughing and smiling, Aiden is definitely the first to make people feel welcome and break the ice in any situation.  He's very dorky and often claps and laughs a lot on variety shows. Aiden is not afraid to put himself in weird situations for his fans, even wearing a maid dress at K-Con in 2013 since fans had raised more than $100,000 for Red Cross and he promised them that he would do that. Connected to that, he keeps his promises. He never backs out because he thinks that backing out is for losers.

              He is a gentleman and will always treat a girl right even if nice guys do finish last. Aiden is very classy and he knows what to say to girls to charm them. It's a skill that he picked up from his father. Good looks and good manners run in the family.  Aiden is onsidered to be a flower boy but he is not. His dorkiness sometimes takes away from that charming classy aura he exudes  and it's often come back to Aiden that he should work on his charisma.   Since good looks run in the family, Aiden is vain. Not as vain as his father, but still pretty vain. He does have those moments that he thinks that he's better than anyone else. He dresses very stylishly convinced that people will love and admire you if you dress well, if you look good. 

               Like any guy his age, he's loud and stubborn. When he's playing games he will get mad really easily and yell and get childishly mad at the game. If he's with his sister, who gets more stuff because she's little and cute, Aiden pulls out his aegyo and stubbornly tries to get what he wants. He usually never does.  He's easily jealous and will be possesive over ones he holds close, deciding that they should only spend time with him. He calls it cute posessiveness, others call it: clinginess.

                 Natalie (Sunhwa) Lee and Carter King met in college. At Columbia University, Natalie was the Korean exchange student from Seoul and Carter, back then, was the womanizing playboy art student. At the time, in 1984, it was never expected that the two would end up married, since back then, they hated each other to no end.  Natalie thought Carter vain and conceited and Carter thought Natalie to be a goody two shoes. The thing that changed their relationship from enemies, to sort of awkward friends was a night when the couple was stuck together in a cabin on a winter arts retreat. Carter and Natalie made an attempt at getting to know each other, finding out that they had so many things in common. 

                   So, for what would end up being told as their first date, Carter invited Natalie to a Van Gogh exhibit at the National Art Gallery. In 1985, the couple  was dating steadily and she was his muse. For the first time in his life, Carter was committed to one woman. In October of 1986, they were engaged and there was intention to wait to marry for a year or so, however, Natalie found out she was pregnant in November of 1986. The familes quickly rushed to prepare a wedding so Natalie and Carter were married in January of 1987. At the time, Natalie was in her 4th month of pregnancy.

                      On June 15, a week early, Carter and Natalie met their son and they named him Aiden in honour of Carter's grandfather. Aidan grew fast and by the age of 5, he was considered a vocal prodigy. As his mother said he could sing before he could talk. While living in New York, Natalie enrolled Aiden into a music school to nurture that talent of singing and he excelled in that school, finding that he wanted to do that. The Kings moved to Seoul, South Korea when Aiden was 13, leaving behind friends in New York and moving to Seoul so that Aiden could know his Korean roots. 

                    At the age of 18, Aiden joined the entertainment industry with his first audition to B2K. He tried twice more and made it on the third try in 2006 a month before his 18th birthday.  He then stayed in the industry and attempted to do well. In 2011, Aiden was between companies and was getting really down, while his mother was pregnant again. In May of 2011, Aiden became an older brother. Despite there being a huge between him and his little sister, he loves her with all his heart. Even if he is twenty two years older than she is, Aiden will still be there for her all the time.

Entertainment Background — 

          Aiden joined the entertainment industry in early 2005, around mid May. He had auditioned for B2K Entertainment and made it into B2K afer his third try in May 2005. At the time, Aiden was unprepared for the harsh conditions that he would face as a trainee but he told himself that he would stick with it. He faced brutal training conidtions with a 6AM-2AM daily schedule, filled with vocal lessons, dance lessons and physical training. His voice cracked multiple times and he suffered laryngitis after only a year of training with B2K. However, he pushed through, deciding that giving up was for losers. 

             In early 2007 B2K Entertainment {Born to Crush Entertainment} announced that they will debuting a solo artist. In Febraury of 2007, after a year and a half of training, Aiden was selected to debut as a solo artist. He debuted under B2K with an English song called You and I. He was called the next Kangta with his voice and Aiden wanted it all. B2K liked his success from his debut and he made a comeback once again in September of 2008 with a pop song, Love Blossom. Over the course of 2009 and 2010, Aiden made successful comebacks one after another, earning a triple crown with the song Love Love Love in 2009 and then again with Masked in late 2010. Additional songs that he released in 2009 and 2010: Trap (October 2009),and  1.4.3 (March 2010). He was lovable, average and dorky, quickly gathering fans with his flower looks and his vocals as well as his overall personality and his skills as a performer.
 

                 However, like any artist who had a lot of popularity, Aiden faced haters and controversy arose. His first controversy arose in June of 2008, after his triple crown win with Love Love Love regarding  fixing the charts to win his trophy. He came out and formally apologized when he never actually did it. Additionally, in 2009, he faced accusations of once again fixing the charts for his Fantastic comeback. He was set to debut in the US around that time as well, but the move was canceled because of the controversy with chart fixing.  In February of 2010, the young singer faced a drunk driving controversy where he had been caught driving under the influence. The planned comeback was pushed back initally to May, but in March of 2010, he admitted that he had been drinking and would take some time to reflect, since he knew it was wrong.

           True to his word, he vanished from the scene for six months and only in October did he make a comeback with Please Don't. The promotions were cut short with yet another controversy arising, but this time due to ual orientation rumors. Aiden never actually addressed those rumors. B2K's standing was damaged with the non stop string of controversies surrounding their solo artist, and Aiden was dropped from the B2K roster in late December 2010, early January 2011. In early 2011, he struggled to find a company that would take him and his singing career. He lost fans, very quickly, since he was now branded as a cheater, gay, alcoholic washed up singer.  He  auditioned at SM,Cube,  JYP, Woollim, and Pledis. Everywhere he got the same answer. "You have a nice voice...but you're too contorversial." 

              In June of 2011, he stumbled onto SC Entertainment. He was very hesitant on joining but Haemi saw the potential this young man had, and decided that he would be the companies' first artist.  He had detailed his controversies to her but the woman wouldn't hear it. She loved his vocals and his looks. In July of 2011, he was signed as SC's first artist. He had taken that chance and leapt at it. The next half year were spent with Minhee who worked on Aiden's choreography, taking him from the boy next door type dancing to powerful charisma infused dances; Hongbin, who made sure that Aiden was prepped to answer for his controversies and that he was marketable; and Baekjun who took his ideas and just ran with them. All under the careful supervision of Haemi. 
 

              In December of 2011, after a half year of intense training with SC, he was deemed ready to debut again. In late December, korean netizens who had pushed Aiden out were surprised to see him back again with Heaven's Door. In January 2012, he started promoting again, showing everyone that he was back and he was back to stay for good. Over a course of a year and a half, he had successfully recovered his original fanbase and had acquired even more fans. His biggest achievement since his debut with SC occured in late 2012 when he made a comeback with Punishment and won a triple crown. Aiden even cried on stage while receiving the award.  In 2013, he was very sucessful and made two comebacks in May,  and August with Hunter of Stars, and You Don't Know Love. After his promotions in August, he took a break and promised to be back in 2014 with a new single.  In early 2014, he was true to his promise and he made a comeback, this time as a part of a duet with Soyu of SISTAR with the song Some. Additional songs that were realeased in 2012 through 2014: Pomp and Circumstance (May 2013), and When I Was Your Man (August 2014). Pomp and Circumstance was a scandalous comeback prior to Punishment, since the song was very ual and the music video was rated but Haemi saw it as a genius move to show the world that Aiden was more than just the heavenly cute kid.

       Later, he became the mentor to Flair and X.Press, and he proved to them that it's possible to recover from a scandal. SC Entertainment took this man, who had been the subject of some harsh controversies, and restored the fame he once had at his other company, which proved to the entire industry that Aiden was not defined by one event, and that SC Entertainment was a force to be reckoned with. 

         At the Gayo Daejeon in 2013, he performed one of his old songs (Trap) alongside two of future X.Press members. Now, in late 2014/early 2015, he's gearing up for yet another comeback as well helping with the X.Press debut and helping Flair shine despite their flawed pasts and showing them how to overcome the controversies.
