family : when serin's around her family, you can tell that she's extremely happy with the big, wide smile on her face. her family literally means the world to her besides her group members. since she is the oldest child in the family of four, she takes on a lot of responsiblity and makes sure that all of her family is okay and doing well. she especially treats her younger brother, sehyuk, with great care. sehyuk is the youngest so serin's always calling him to do his homework and is constantly nagging him whenever she calls him. since her family lives in canada, serin does have her moments where she cries while calling her parents on the phone. unlike some of her members, serin can't really see her family unless she flies over there or the reverse so she gets homesick sometimes. she loves her family to death and would do anything for them.

group members (they're basically her only friends) : they are basically serin's second family. since her family doesn't live in south korea, she depends a ton on her group members. in the group, serin's probably one of the moodmakers that tries to make everyone laugh and happy. she hates it when there's tension in the group and tries to resolve it with the best of her ability. serin is the member who would always hug her members and give them a bunch of love. serin can be a little careless with both her actions and words, but she means well. she doesn't have any bad intentions and genuinely cares about her members. 

in front of live cameras, variety shows, etc.

with the camera on her, serin is pretty much the same as she is offstage. serin doesn't like putting up some facade to please people and just acts like her crazy self. if her fans truly love her, then they'll love the real her is what she believes. on variety shows, serin is usually the moodmaker, cracking a few teasing comments and jokes to lighten the atmosphere up. although she jokes around and makes a complete fool out of herself sometimes, serin knows her limits and never makes any hurtful comments. she doesn't believe in saying cruel words to make people laugh; she doesn't like to belittle people to have a couple laughs come out. she just shows people her weird dances and boom, people get charmed by her weird and fun personality. she just tries to be herself on variety shows and is honest about her opinions. the only thing people have to watch out for is her quirky moments where she makes no sense and you just have to deal with her stupidity. as for performances, serin always puts a lot of effort onstage by giving good energy while dancing and giving a big smile to her fans watching her.

towards strangers, guests, fans and people they idolize or like.

fans : when it comes to her fans, she loves interacting with them and likes having small talk with them; it helps her get to know the people who listen to her music. for serin, her fans are very precious to her and she acts more like a friend more than some popular idol. she makes them feel comfortable and relaxed by cracking a few jokes and giving them hugs when asked. since serin's an affectionate person, she tends to give her fans a lot of skinship like hugs, pats on the head, and giving out high fives. one of the things serin really likes to do is ask for the fan's name and make quick little personalized cartoons for them; basically, every autograph she signs is made for that specific fan and only them. the only thing serin won't do is aegyo; not because she hates it, but because she thinks that she at it and that her aegyo should never be seen by her fans.

people she idolizes : she doesn't idolize anybody really, but when she meets like one of her favorite rappers or singers, she gets a little excited. for example, if she is near them, she'll ask for a photo together or an autograph and then once she gets home, she'll have her very own personal dance party in her bedroom. when around the people she really admires, she tries to play it cool and not to freak them out with her overwhelmingly quirky personality.

strangers/guests : when she's around a stranger, serin's pretty chill and just treats the stranger like how she treats anyone; with kindness and a smile. serin's the type to greet the stranger with a big smile and welcome them with open arms. she's pretty friendly around strangers and tries to befriend once she sees them. serin's quite outgoing so socializing is easy for her. to serin, no stranger is too scary to befriend; serin would be the one to befriend a criminal if possible.
