BACKGROUND ♡ It started out with Hyunjae's mom (Jihyun) meeting the man of her dreams, Jeon Myungdae. Myungdae swept her off her feet, and they started their relationship only weeks after they first met. Myungdae was a heir to a company while Jihyun was a ramen shop owner's daughter. Although, a year into their relationship, Jihyun found out she was pregant. Afraid the he was going to be disowned since he wasn't married and knocked a girl up, he married Jihyun. The marriage was one with many rocks, as they fought often and threatened to break up many times, but they lasted through three pregnancies. Although, after Hyunjae was two years old, her parents finally split up for good, and her father left them, never to return. Many people don't know the eason why Myungdae left, but Hyunjae's mom told her that he just wasn't suited for marriage and that he never had actually wanted to marry in the first place, it was an accident. He left when Hyunjae had just turned two.
Hyunjae was quick to learn the being a single parent supporting three kids was a horrible job, but she really looked up to her mom for managing such a complicated task. Hyunjae's mother worked overtime as a waitress almost every week, and she would come home with sore legs and back everytime. Her elder brothers, Jaesun (oldest) and Jaehwa (second oldest), always tried to help their mom out the best they could. They got part-time jobs and worked extra hours to help their mom pay the bills. Hyunjae wanted to help, but they told her not to, and that it isn't her problem. They just wanted to her study and be a good student. So, Hyunjae tried just that. Hyunjae sooned realized that school wasn't something she was good at. She didn't excel in any particular subject, she managed to maintain mediocore grades, but it wasn't something she wanted to do her whole life. Being stuck in a office writing all day didn't sit well with her. When she saw her older brother Jaehwa play in a band, though, that's when he dream awakened. Being an idol never passed her min until that day. She did't think it would be that hard, she;d just had to find a talent. She tried singing, but she broke a milk glass trying to sing a high-note, and she tried dancing, but she accidentaly broke a glass window with her foot. So, she tried her last hope; rapping. Rapping didn't seem that hard. Of course, she wasn't perfect when she first tried, but as time gradually went on, she got better. She searched around online, and found out that SM Entertainment was holding auditions. Hyunjae recorded herself rapping and sent it in. It took a long time to recieve a reply, and Hyunjae was about to give up when she got a call saying that she was accepted. Hyunjae cried happy tears in her room that day. Unlike Jaesun, Jaehwa has moved out and has become accustomed to his bachelor life. He reguarly brings presents to his little sister, along with a snide remark or teasing statement. PERSONALITY ♡ Joonyoung is an odd one. He is different than normal people. He is really carefree and doesn't worry about the stressful things in life. He always has a bored expression on his face. Many people find his personality to be bland, but he is actually really fun. He is a person who makes the most ridiculous jokes with such a serious face, you just can't help but burst out laughing. Joonyoung also likes to flirt around, and he is known for his "deep, dark eyes" or his "piercing gaze". He flirsts with the MCs and interviwers alike, which causes some jealousy. He does smile and laugh, just not often. He does it at random times, mostly at innapropiate moments. FIRST MEETING ♡ Joonyoung and Hyunjae met when Hyunjae was 15. Joonyoung was 18 and best friends with her second older brother, Jaehwa. Joonyoung was the lead singer for their band that they stared earlier in High School, and Hyunjae really admired him. Joonyoung found Hyunjae to be an adorable little girl, and he really liked to rustle her hair, to which Hyunjae would pinch his hand for. Although, their relationship has changed drastically since then.
RELATIONSHIP ♡ Nowadays, Joonyoung and Hyunjae are bickering about really stupid things and there are many times where Joonyoung does some really weird and Hyunjae can't help but want to just push him off a cliff. She reguarly thinks about how the heck she admired him for so long. Joonyoung is still friends with Jaehwa, but he is slowly growing closer to Hyunjae. He's actually finds her to be really beautiful now, and comments every now and then that she has grown into a beautiful young woman, which leads to Hyunjae smacking him across the shoulder or hitting him across the face with a pillow or something. Joonyoung likes to flirt so bluntly with her, but Hyunjae rejects him straight out, it's actually quite funny to watch him use really corny pick-up lines on her with such a straight face. Once they confess to each other, Joonyoung will be more clingy to her and hang off of her like a koala on a tree branch. He'll complain about her moving so much when he's trying to sleep on her. Joonyoung is going to act more like a child and be more openly erted.
