Roses are beautiful, like the way you are

I lost my mind thinking about you

No matter what you wear, you're always perfect

The way the edge of your lips tug upwards makes me go crazy

The way your voice rings in my ear makes me go to cloud 9.

But every rose has it's spikes

So beautiful that it can hurt you

Those beautiful petals are lies, just a facade.

When I step closer to you, I can see those spikes on your stem

So demonic and evil

Those pair of eyes that I once adored are cold and empty

That smile that once makes me go crazy is fake and it never reached your eyes

You're like a barbie doll, pretty yet fake, cold and empty

Those petals with bright colour no longer attract me, it's now screaming danger and warnings

You're beautiful, just like roses

I just can't get you out of my mind

The way you laugh sounds like music

The way you smile makes me go crazy

But every rose has it's spikes
