Description: Extremely close, her father adores her very much. Hael looks very much like her mother, that's one of the reasons why her father loves her so much, another reason why he's so very protective of her.

Description: Hael doesn't remember her mother, she died when Hael was very young. Her mother was very depressed after giving birth to her and 2 years later, she killed herself - Hael doesn't know this, she thinks her mother died because of cancer.

Description: Hael and Seunghyun are very close, Seunghyun knows how much his father wants Hael safe from harm so that he doesn't lose her just like he lost his wife so Seunghyun takes care of Hael very well. He's that brother who brought Hael everywhere when she was younger, his friends used to a lot from being an 'dongsaeng babo'. He's now working as a doctor.

I'll tell you about myself now. Don't worry, I'm interesting

Background:
Hael lived a very sheltered life, she was always protected. You might think, "Aw, she must be a really introverted girl" or "Ah, she's never been through any hardships, how nice" but she's none of that. She grew up not being able to do a lot of things by herself but she didn't let that get in the way. Hael doesn't know this but her mother attempted suicide when she was 2 years old, it was said she died of drug overdose. Hael doesn't remember any of it even though she was in her mother's arms when she died. She doesn't even remember how her mum was like. On the exterior, Hael doesn't seem she's all that affected about it because she feels the love her father and brother gives her is more of that a mother can give but she still yearns for her mother's touch.

Her father is a CEO of a car dealership, he works a lot but he doesn't forget to spend his time with Seunghyun and Hael whenenver he has free time. When her father is at work, Seunghyun takes care of Hael, if he has to go out, he brings Hael. Anyone can see what a loving brother Seunghyun is, he is always with Hael that even girls find it hard to go on a date with him because he has to bring Hael so because of that Seunghyun hasn't had a proper girlfriend. Hael feels sorry because she feels it's her fault that Seunghyun can't even get a girlfriend.



Personality:
Despite growing up a in such a sheltered household, Hael is opinionated and stubborn. She feels she's being 'opressed' in the house just because she isn't allowed to do many things alone. She wasn't allowed to go out with her friends, even if she could her brother tagged along. As she grew up, Hael became more brave and daring because she was told not to do a lot of things so her thoughts and hopes to do those things became bolder. Hael isn't afraid to say what's on her mind but sometimes it comes across as being too blunt and rude. 

Hael is also very loyal to her friends, she believes she can see who are true to her and who aren't. Hael treasures friendships, something that was thought by her father. She can go out of her way to help her friend if need be but she's too loyal to a fault that even after a person wrongs her she's able to forgive a person even if she's hurt by it.

Now that her brother has started working, you'd think she's get as much freedom but it's not that easy, she still gets calls from her father and brother every 30 minutes to check on her. She lies at times so that she can get away from not going home too early.

Personality:
Jongin knows Hael likes him but he pretends he doesn't even thought she gave him that love letter face to face. He rejects most of the girls that gave him love letters and to be quite honest, he doesn't even read them. Jongin is on the student council and he's even the class president, he's doing very well juggling his good grades, his passion for ballet and jazz dance and his post on the council. Jongin has this straight face on all the time and the girls thinks it's so handsome. He's uptight and cautious but he's also good-hearted and sensitive.

How you met: 
Hael first met Jongin when she was using the dance room in school. She was already using the room when he entered, thinking nobody was in it. He apologized and was about to leave when she told him that they could use it together. He paused to think and then relented. At that point, Hael was already smitten by him and when he started dancing Hael was sure she was in love. It was hard to keep a conversation with him though, so Hael thought she would write him a letter.


Interactions: 
Even though Jongin knows that Hael clearly likes him they still see each other and share the dance room together. Hael doesn't complain because she gets to see Jongin. She's not really hurt by his indifference towards her, she's satisfied enough that he doesn't avoid her. They don't really talk because Hael is too afraid he'll leave if she's too annoying.

1) How did you start to have a crush on Mr. XO? Aka your love interest? 
Answer: I don't know... I guess when I first saw him? It's not because he's good looking or anything like that, I just like him. I see the pain in his eyes and I want to help him, I feel he has a story to tell. He's very similar to me and it'd be nice if we could both help each other in healing. And we both enjoy dancing, I guess we get each other even though it's only on my part...
