intimidating, is the first impression of everyone about her. why? first is her face, most of the time she shows that "don't talk to me" countenance. and second is because she has that wall which she won't let others to break it down. she's not afraid to hold in her opinions; she's really dead set in her belief and won't consider others. pretty persistent, indeed. she often makes slogans like when she's dieting, she put "must not eat meat for a month!" slogan on her forehead. but she won't go outside like that; it'll be embarrassing, of course. she stands up for herself, you may say independent. she believes she can do everything by herself. she, too, believes she can do what men usually do. an easy and simple example: opening a door. she appreciates those that are called gentlemen by opening a door for girl, but she thinks that waiting for a helping hand is a waste of time, and she isn't patient enough to wait around for that. she's not the person who likes to wait. if she has to wait for someone who's late, she won't bother to wait for them anymore because normally, she goes whiny and that is not cool. to her, at least. she isn't a vulnerable type, so do not have to worry about her; she will survive by herself. if she's with you when you get sick, she will certainly take care and look after you, though.

he's the type who always makes a pro/con list before making any decision to identify all possible problems that could come up. mindless risks are not his thing; he won't do anything that has the potential to jeopardize his stability. yeah he's pretty cautious. he's really shy! you can see it from the first encounter anyway. he has a tendency to get nervous when he's around people he doesn't know. because of that, he only has few friends, actually ( excluding exo ). he is excessively concerned with himself and his own needs. he's selfish. you probably know some people who always talk about themselves, make every issue about themselves, and are generally all about "me, me, me!" one of them is kyungsoo. tends to ignore the needs of others and only does what's best for him. quite self-centered he is. kyungsoo is emotionally detached. he doesn't act in any emotions because he always denies them. he feels nothing. often won't be able to tell you what he's feeling at any given time. people may look at him like someone who's quiet and doesn't talk much, but actually he can talk like there's no tomorrow. yes, get close with him first. that's the first step to know him more, you know.

 

honestly speaking, their first encounter wasn't really that great. ahyoung was actually intimidated by his presence. both of them were high school sunbae-hoobae before. they also didn't talk each other. but their start of relationship was rather cliche. you may say that kyungsoo kinda had a love in the first sight back in high school. he'd been constantly stalking and stealing glances at ahyoung. and of course, ahyoung could feel it before since it was damn obvious. but ahyoung had never been liking the fact that she's being watched, you know, it gave that creepy and uncomfortable feeling and she absolutely felt it through all her first year of high school ( since kyungsoo had graduated when ahyoung entered the second year ). also, since kyungsoo and ahyoung had the same route from school to home and otherwise, they always took the same bus and whenever ahyoung got out from the bus first before kyungsoo, his friends were always shouting "quickly, go catch her! don't miss her, soo." and kyungsoo would reply them by saying "don't worry guys, i got her back." sure, ahyoung didn't hear the conversation but her "going-home" friend always had a story to tell everyday, no?

 

enough for the very first encounter. finally, they had debuted already! it happened few months ago, in which kyungsoo and ahyoung was invited as guests in youngstreet radio. well, coincidence does happen, though. it was absolutely an awkward meeting. but the host eased the awkwardness by asking them few questions regarding their bands and whatnot. after the radio session was over, kyungsoo and ahyoung talked with each other. well, with few talks here and there, ahyoung realized that she shouldn't judge people before she knew them first, because hey, kyungsoo was undeniably a nice guy. next thing she knew, kyungsoo followed her in instagram then he asked for her line/kakaotalk id through instagram chat. she was happy when kyungsoo was the one who started the chat. because he's from exo and exo was quite popular so she was rather proud to have him as one of her friends now. instead of sending words to each other, they usually used the useful facility that the chat app has: voice note. yeah because it's free unlike phone call.

 

according to ahyoung's observation, kyungsoo is secretly a fun person to be with. he may not be a type of person who shows emotions a lot but sometimes kyungsoo likes to crack a joke or two to make ahyoung curves her lips upward, and that's somehow successful. aside from that, kyungsoo usually asks her to accompany him somewhere. asks her to help him to choose a gift for his friend or mom or just... female-beings. and she'd gladly to do so. he did this to get her attention he hadn't gotten before in high school, okay. there has been plenty of rumours about them dating, but they only sway them off and tell that they're just "friends" yeah with benefits, that is. like when ahyoung is bored, she will ask him to hang out with her for a cup of bubble tea only and chat as usual. cracking his shell is rather hard, so ahyoung was intrigued by him and it wasn't the other way around like what ahyoung expected. therefore, she wanted to get closer and to know him better than anyone. 

 

in public they don't show off their careness that much since they're afraid media will get it wrongly. whenever there's a reporter who mentions, "what do you guys think about each other? since when have you guys been dating?" both of their faces will surely be like a boiled crab. alright, ahyoung has been liking him several weeks after their radio session, so you know how does it feel when people ask you about your crush and they hit the bull's-eye? that's what she's been feeling whenever they're confronted with media. while not in public, kyungsoo won't hesitate to show his careness, and hey! he ever tied her shoelace when she didn't know it was detached, even. he's a sweet guy, really. and ahyoung is really grateful that she's friends and has crush with him.
