How can people write fanfics.

Like don't you people ever make such great ideas in your head, knowing exactly how to do and what to do and who to put as the characters and everything. but then the actualy writing comes and its like . I can't write. I got da ideas. I'm picturing scenes out in my head but its not so good describing like wtf do i write? I might as well just draw out my fanfic into some kind of manga lmao. mhm sure.
