So Flipping Indesicive
This time, its a rant towards SHINee World in general, because hot damn, how indesicive can we get?
First we complain that Taemin barely gets any lines.
Then Taemin gets Jonghyun's long notes in Why So Serious and everyone is flipping their .
Then Taemin goes back to being SHINee's y dancing maknae, but with better vocals. People are happy again.
Then Taemin gets a solo and the reaction is divided: Some people were pissed because they wanted Jonghyun or Onew to get a solo instead. Some people we freaking bouncing off the walls because they were so happy (me).
And now, with SHINee's new Japanese pv teaser, people are flipping their because the teaser was 90% Taemin's voice.
You do realize that it was only 30 some seconds of the song right? You realize that Taemin isn't the only one that will actually sing in the video? Because some of you are going on a rampage in the comments section, talking about how SHINee has become "Taemin and the Taeminions." Don't hate on Taemin just because he's gotten more talented. (And when I say that, don't misunderstand. I'm not saying he's more talented than the rest of SHINee. They are all extremely talented. I just mean He's become much more talented now compared to when he first debuted with SHINee.)
Not to mention, we all know that Taemin is Japan's favorite. There is absolutely no point in sugar coating that. Japan has always favored Taemin and that doesn't look like its going to change anytime soon. I'm honestly surprised I haven't heard of them requesting for a Japanese version of Danger yet.
Either way, don't start bashing Taemin for singing most of a 30 second teaser. In every other SHINee teaser, it was always 90% Jonghyun and 10% the rest of SHINee. Now that Taemin's got most of the teaser, everyone's flipping their and hating on him again. As if Taemin hasn't gotten enough hate already from ungrateful fans. It's so sad seeing fans be so rude when everyone else in SHINee has been nothing but supportive in every way to Taemin. It's not unheard of that people in groups go solo and still keep a group together. All of BIGBANG has gone solo but they are still together as BIGBANG. They still promote together as a group. (I'm flipping my waiting for them to make a comeback damn it). Why is it that SHINee does it and everyone goes crazy only because it's Taemin that did it. No one would complain if it were Jonghyun or Onew that did it, even though neither of them have talked about even wanting a solo, unlike Taemin. Jonghyun has clearly expressed that he doesn't want a solo.
And do you know how happy it made me, hearing Minho and Jonghyun say that they knew that even if he hadn't debuted with SHINee, Taemin would've still been famous on his own? Honestly, I think they all would have been famous on their own, but for different reasons. I honestly see Jonghyun and Onew, had they been solo artists and not a part of SHINee, as ballad singers. Jonghyun maybe tilting a bit towards hip hop, just maybe. Minho would have definitely been an actor. And Key probably would have done a duo thing (like what he did with Woohyun), or just work in musicals because he loves his musicals.
But I'm getting off track. The point is, don't complain about Taemin having too many lines when you only saw 30 seconds of a video. For all you know, those could be the only 30 seconds he has in the song.
And if you haven't seen it already, here is the teaser for Downtown Boy, the title song for their next Japanese Album "I'm Your Boy."
