§ one step further: this is just the beginning

personality: A blurry kind of girl who does not possess the usual idol image, she likes to take care of others. But sometimes, she can't even take care of herself properly. When she is tired, she tend to start to blank out, but all she needs is something to interest her and she will regain her energy almost immediately.

Yonni's personality is just like how she looks like, gentle and sweet. However, she can be rather wilful and unreasonable at times, especially when someone tries to deny her desserts. A typical sugar addict, she is always very hyper, and loves to make new friends. On the outside, nothing seems to be able to pull her down, but deep inside, she is actually using the happy facade to hide from her fears. Fears that she will not have anyone to talk to or care for. She is a peace-keeper, and gets scared when people raise their voices at her. She is also a perfectionist who always feels that she is not good enough and seeks to constantly improve herself.

interaction: Yonni is what one would call a social butterfly. She is always with her friends, and cannot stand being alone. She tries her best to please everyone around her. That means that she will follow the whims and wishes of her parents most of the time. Even among her friends, she is being pushed around. Even though she can survive well without her friends, she tend to give in to them, and allow them to go far without getting into trouble with her. In a group, she takes on the role of the peace keeper and problem solver as she has an innate ability to sense people's emotions. She loves everybody, and work hard toward getting everybody to like her. She is very polite towards other trainees, and compares herself to themconstantly to improve on areas which she feels she lacks.

She comes from a middle-high class family, but her parents are high achievers, who expect nothing but the best from Yonni. From young, she has always followed what her parents want her to do. From etiquette classes to music lessons, her parents made her attend all sorts of extra lessons to give the edge over her same age peers. She led a very well protected life, as she is an only child. Her parents are strict displinarians, and always plans things out for her. They even held strict control over the friends that she made. Having grown up with high expectations of her, Yonni inevitably became a perfectionist who demanded the best from herself. Yonni has a strong desire to belong with a family that was unlike hers, so her ambition was to become part of a group, where the members stay together and take care of each other, where she can finally have the family that she always dreamed of.When she was scouted by SM scouts, it took her one whole month before she gathered up the courage to finally step out of the boundary that her parents have set for her. However, she did not let her parents know about the audition, and she signed on with the company at 16 years old without her parents consent. Luckily, her late grandmother supported her and signed the consent to her joining. Her parents were outraged when they discovered that their only daughter have strayed from the path that they had laid out for her, and are unable to see that being able to shine on the stage is all that Yonni ever wanted. As a result, they chose to distance themselves from her.

personality: Bright, sunny and gentle. Leeteuk is the leader of Super Junior, and is extremely responsible when it comes to work, yet he is funny and caring in private.

how you met: Yonni started having a crush on him when she became an elf. Being in the same company just let her see how caring and sweet Leeteuk was as a male, not to mention his killer smile just blows her sanity away. She does not know if Leeteuk shares the same feelings, but they do have a couple of secret dates. Secret because she was still a trainee but he was already a celebrity.

interaction: Yonni is not sure if he shares the same feelings towards her, but he always comes to her when he is feeling vexed or simply needed a listening ear, just like Yonni would go to him. He is very caring towards Yonni, but she feels that he treats her the same way that he treats all his other dongseangs. With them being optimistic people, their interactions are always fun and filled with laughter.

provenance: Running for the perfectionist. Boram had signed up for her without Yonni knowing. Yonni saw it as a chance to finally break free of her parents regimen. Her strong vocals and fresh outlook took the scouts by surprise, and she was offered a contract to join SME on the spot

why did you want to get into the project group?: Since young, every thing that Yonni had done was from her parent's instructions. She loved singing since she knew how to talk, and everyone around her always told her that she had an exceptional voice. However, her parents deemed singing a waste of time, and refused to recognise her talent in singing. When she was successful in her audition, her parents were livid and threw her out of the house the very night. She moved into the small room near the SM building which her grandmother had paid the first three months deposit for her. Completely on her own for the first time in her life, Yonni had to get used to the downgrade from the luxurious lifestyle she was leading and do everything on her own. The first taste of independence, though painfully tedious, was sweet. Her parents had cut ff all contacts with her, and had refused to see her the countless times she visted them. She hoped that by joining the group, it would help fill the empty hole in her that longed for family, and earn recognition from her parents.
