Book and Fanfic recommendations?

I'm so darn bored this week because its the holidays. (We only have a week of holiday)

Can you guys recommend me any books to read?

Like English books?

For fanfics... I'm quite picky hehe

Ermmm.... Anything but fanfics that have really bad English.

And when I mean bad, I mean:

EX:

I am bored.

I am boring.

Not sure of the type of genres you're into but here are some recs:

All the hype these days, The Fault in Our Stars by John Green. I think it's a bit overrated, but that doesn't mean it's not good. In fact, thsi book is one of the few really good young adult books imo. A really cute romance between two teenagers with fatal illnesses. Be sure to prepare a lot of tissues. The movie is about to come out I think.

The Help by Kathryn Stockett. The story takes place during the era African American are slaves/third rate community. It sounds depressing but it's really not. In fact it's really funny and inspiring. The book was made into movie like a couple (or more?) years ago so I'm not sure if you've already watched that.

If you're into medieval fantasy, try The Lioness series by Tamora Pierce. The protagonist is a female (who prtends to be a male so she can be a knight), which is really cool. It has that Harry Potter vibe, only written with lighter theme. Compared to HP, The Lioness series are pretty thin, which makes it easier to digest for a non-native English speaker like me. I've only read until the second book and loving it. There is a tiny cute romance too.

I guess that's all :)

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I guess I've influenced you (*slapp*)
I would recommend this MyungYeol I came across that day. I forgot the title, but I remember the story is something like Sungyeol having his own daughter and stuff. Its in my subs box if you want to read it.
