appearance — Youngmi has multiple piercings with two lobe piercings on both ears and one industrial piercing on her right ear. She is said to look a like her brother, Lee Hongki and it's noticeable. Many say that they have the same eyes in shape and in color. She has a more of a cute look to her, but with just right amount of makeup she can look edgy. 

fashion style — Youngmi's fashion style is very casual with darker colors being the theme because as she puts it, "Darker clothes won't show a stain as much as lighter ones do". She isn't very fashionable, but she at least knows what looks good on her and what doesn't. Her usual go to outfits are a pair of skinny jeans with a dark top (a sweater for the winter, short sleeves for warmer weather) and some sneakers. If she needs to dress fancier, she often looks to the more fashion conscious members to help her out.

personality — 

Youngmi is known for her motherly personality among the members. Despite not being the leader, she takes care of the members a lot. She in a sense is like the hidden leader who is seen taking charge when things to be out of control or when the leader gets too caught in other things. Since she is the oldest, she naturally likes to make sure the younger members are doing okay especially the maknae, who she has a big soft spot for and will be a bit of a pushover to her. 

She isn't motherly for nothing if she doesn't nag a little, though it's not the angry nagging mother image that most people will associate to. She is one of the more quieter members and since she doesn't like to cause drama, she often goes talks the offender in a non-threatening way with helpful suggestions. It sometimes works and sometimes doesn't depending on the member. When she is worried about a member, she will often stick to them like a fly, dotes on them a lot and hover over them to keep a close eye on them. 

As the longest trainee among the girls, it's obvious that Youngmi is very determined. She is the type to go at things full force without stopping. Once she makes up her mind on something, there is real no way of telling her otherwise unless your extremely convincing. However with being the longest trainee, there is one thing that Youngmi had developed in her personality and that is being self-critical. 

She wants to be the very best (that no one ever was, Pokemon gotta catch them all~) at her skill sets and never has been satisfied with her own performance the first time. She always nit-picks as she monitors herself and it can be a real downer sometimes when she goes into self-critical mode because she mumble to herself with a seemingly dark aura around her. 

Youngmi is extremely gullible especially to the people she trusts. She often is the victim to the more mischievous members of the group because she will fall for the same trick over and over again. Sarcasm goes over her head until she realizes five minutes later that it wasn't serious. She does get a bit sensitive to these things and mope around if someone tricks her too much because she thinks that they're looking down on her. 
 

When Youngmi loses her temper, it's really not violent. She will be the type to say what she needs to say in her usual tone before she goes mopes in a corner. It's rather depressing to see and she can mope for months on the same issue until the other person apologizes to her. Other than that, she is very shy around strangers because she doesn't know what they're like, but give it an hour or two and she will slowly start opening up to you. 
 

background — Lee Youngmi was born the youngest and only daughter of the Lee family. Youngmi was 5 years younger than her older brother, Hongki, but that didn't stop them from being close. Youngmi always looked up to her older brother as a protector sort and was fond of following him around. The Lee siblings always had a strong bond and whenever people tried to mess with his sister, Hongki was there to push them back. 

When she was 7 years old, Hongki managed to get a lead role in a children's television show which prompted the family to move to Korea. At the time, Youngmi didn't know how to feel because she was used to her town in Gwanju and she wasn't good at making friends. It didn't help that Hongki started to be more busy with his role on the show and before long, Youngmi had to entertain herself. Her mother seeing the sadness that Youngmi seemed to portray, signed up for music lessons such as vocals and piano to keep her busy when she wasn't at school. 

Not before long, Youngmi started to love music and when Hongki was done with filming, he joined her in her jam sessions where she played twinkle twinkle little star and other things. When Hongki was 15 and Youngmi was 10, he got into FNC Entertainment and despite them not seeing each other that much anymore cause she was training, she called him a lot and sometimes he sang to her on the phone. 

When Youngmi was 12, she was present in Hongki's F.T.Island debut stage and seeing him up there, she realized that she wanted to do the same thing. She spent a whole year trying out for different compaines because she didn't want to get into FNC since her brother was in it and she didn't want special treatment. Her brother in the end, managed to convince her to be in FNC (mostly cause he wanted to keep an eye on her) and at the age of 13 became a trainee after she auditioned properly for them. 

Training wasn't the easiest especially with school work, puberty and the attitude of the other trainees because they thought they instructors were going easy on her being Hongki's younger sister. Youngmi pushed though and despite being on the list to debut in AOA before dropped, she still continued to work as hard as she could.

personality — Jongin at first glance, gives off a really flirty and chic personality. He seems a bit cold and out of reach for people on the outside especially with the way he performs on stage. However in reality, Jongin is rather shy and doesn't really know how to go about socializing. He when he opens up, is a rather fun guy with even lame jokes making him go into laughing fits. He is cheerful with a touch of innocence. When he wants something though, watch out cause he can get completely competitive and won't stop at nothing to get what he wants. It's almost scary how stubborn he can be. 
 

relationship — When Jongin and Youngmi meet they were among the throng of the members who could talk for them. They were pretty unnoticeable even to each other until the group broke off and there were separate conversations. Youngmi was rather intimidated by Jongin while he was a bit star struck cause he had heard her sing at one point. The two of them managed through a cringe worthy and second hand embarrassment kind of conversation before they talked about music which they both show interest in. Before they knew it, the two of them were talking rather well and when they departed they exchanged numbers. Youngmi is extremely motherly with Jongin despite him being older and they often text with each other. The two of them are pretty dense about their feelings until someone sheds some light on it which Jongin realizes first that it's more than a simple friendship.
