Miah has a strong personality. She's not afraid of standing up for herself and voicing out her opinions. She's devoted to her morals and tries hard to live her life following them. Sometimes though, this can be seen as someone who's not very flexible. She's been called ignorant and a conservative because of it. Miah tries her hardest to ignore those kinds of people and tells herself "if they don't need you, you don't need them". She's not afraid of cutting ties with a person because of a misunderstanding, her own little flaw.
She has her own violent streak. When she sees wrongdoing of any kind-- aimed at her or anyone else-- she retaliates. Her best mechanism so far is intimidation and violence. She grew up in a mildly influencial family, and will not hesitate to use her family name if it means that she will win. She's ran into several problems because of her abrasiveness and slightly rash ways. A problem with seeing punches and knee-kicks as a way to solve all her conflicts can also be mildly frustrating. She tries to ignore the problems that pop up and instead look forward to something that doesn't involve her and getting scolded.
Since Miah is a bit like a child herself, she gets along very well with kids. Youngsters seem to bring out a more mature and motherly side of the girl, which surprises most of the people that knows her. She treats younger people with a kind of gentleness that makes any parent smile. She loves hanging around kids and likes her job teaching music to them. She tries her hardest to communicate with children.
Greatly influenced with Western ways, she's a bit loose with skinship. She shows her affection by the means of physical interaction. She loves giving hugs and cuddling with her boyfriend. Some people see this in a negative way, calling her cheap. Though she's the kind to make it look like nothing negative affects her, all her hurt beuilds up inside. This usually ends up with her bawling like a child. Her friends return all the affection she gave them in the way they all know she like-- big warm hugs.
In the topic of friends, she's pretty understanding. She has friends from all kinds of backgrounds a selective few of them are the kind of people that normal civilians would be scared of. She believes in second chances, but is pretty cutthroat about giving out her trust. She will only truly take a bullet for her friend if she is extremely close to them. Nevertheless, she's always there to lend an ear. Her friends come to her for advice and her honest opinion.
When Jang Miah doesn't like you, she makes sure its easily noticeable. Since she gives anyone she considers a friend skinship, its easy to see when she acts cold to someone. Her conversations with such a person would be short and brusque. Sometimes, she's honest to the point that it hurts the other person's feelings. She sees nothing wrong about it. Instead, she thinks she's doing them a favor. "Why should I pretend to like them when I don't?" she always reasons.
Miah was born to a reasonably wealthy family. Her dad is a businessman and would frequently leave the country and stay there because of company matters. She was born in Shanghai, China during a business trip, a month too early. She stayed there until she reached her first birthday and then moved to San Francisco because her father was appointed to take care of an American branch of his company.
There, she developed the fundamentals of her personality. She got a brother when she was five, Jang Desheng. Though he was adopted and older than her, fifteen at the time, they got along like blood siblings.
As she grew up in America, her parents’ relationship started to strain. It first started as the long months her father would be gone with only minimal contact. When she was about to start middle school, her family moved to their home country.
When she arrived in South Korea, she was countlessly taunted because of her brother. At the time, he didn’t know how to speak any Korean despite being brought up in a Korean family. She stood up for her brother in the most effective way she knew-- violence. Miah landed herself into a pit of trouble because of her counterattack mechanism and was feared by her own peers there after.
During her high school years, she found herself the leader of an all-female group. They were popular and protected the weak and underclassmen with their influence. She found her social circle containing a few permanent members and even got herself a fan club. Her fine-arts based high school fueled her to learn an instrument-- flute-- and she entered a college of her choice which was Daekyung University.
There, Miah met Kim Sunggyu and became close friends with him. She attended Practical Music class with him as a minor while taking Education as her major. She is currently teaching music to young kids.

Sunggyu has a big heart. Whether it be s or his girlfriend or the kids, he will willfully shower them with love. Most of the time, this is unwanted coughsorryhamgyucough. He loves to goof around but knows when it’s time to get down to business. Because of his usually easy-going attitude, when he becomes serious, everyone listens. His sense of humor is charming more than offensive which is the thing that makes him Kim Sunggyu.
He has a huge dash of conservatism in him. He always acts properly. He holds elders in high regards and always makes sure others’ matters are taken care of before his. Sunggyu treats Miah with the utmost care and love and devotion. He believes that all women must be taken care of. Therefore, he doesn’t like seeing anyone mess with his woman.
Every single person in Korea knows of Sunggyu’s slightly foolish personality. It carries on into their relationship and there is usually an air of gushy adoration aimed at Miah’s direction. She doesn’t mind at all, but would show her affection in a slightly less displayable way. Because of this however, Sunggyu is easily turned jealous. He would sulk until she initiates skinship with him in the form of hugs, hand holding, or kisses. They appreciate the love the fans give them and would occasionally tweet a picture of them during their dates from time to time.
Miah has a strong personality that can sometimes frustrate Sunggyu. Their fights are usually about this topic. The argument doesn’t usually last long. They end it when she successfully destroys something (ie. glass, clock, etc.). Sunggyu can’t stay mad for long because of his weak heart.

» PERSONALITY
Enzo likes to be quiet. He never cries or speaks, making it seem like he’s a doll sometimes. But when he does smile, it makes everyone go gaga. He seems to love putting everything in his mouth making him look like just another cute toddler. For some odd reason, he turns extremely professional when modelling-- a feat that’s quite odd for his age. He loves anything that looks like food and would salivate at the mention of it. He loves cuddling with Sunggyu and would just sit in his arms for hours until he falls asleep.
This kid is adorable and he knows it. He’s cunning and isn’t afraid to use his looks to get away from trouble. Apart from this, he’s extremely adorable. With a natural aegyo and big brown eyes, almost anyone can turn into his slave. But, he also has a very loving side to him. He easily gets upset when one of his parents are sick or exhausted and would turn into the sweetest son ever. Dennis has a competitive streak to him, so he finds it necessary to win everything. He loves running around and laughing, so you would usually see him dragging someone (usually our defenseless Grandpa Gyu) along while he races around the living room.
Enzo The baby and Sunggyu have an alliance. With just eye contact, the older man can sense when the baby wants his favorite peach and apple puree. Enzo doesn’t mind not moving for hours, and thus would cuddle with his papa on the couch until they both fall asleep. He adores his dad and would often show his rare smiles to him. Sunggyu doesn’t know how to calm him down though. Miah, who works as a kindergarten teacher and is used to childresn, usually swoops in to save the day.
Dennis Both of the parents are sure that this kid is going to be a player when he grows up. He’s routinely causing mischief and would get scolded for it. Dennis would sulk for hours without speaking or eating. Miah would be the one to settle down his temper, usually in the way of hugs and kisses. Sometimes, she even turns down his temper with small English conversations. Because of this, he’s closer to her than Sunggyu. He finds it necessary to compete with him to see who she loves more. He adores her and calls her “noona-omma” which can worry her sometimes. He loves Enzo to death and would hug him till the baby cries to be let go.
Sunggyu loves to spoil the boys with food and little toys. He even gives them exclusive INFINITE merchandise which they don’t usually appreciate. The kids love the fans as much as their parents and would give fanservice like cute gummy smiles.
When it comes down to discipline, Sunggyu can’t bare to see their sad faces, so he usually leaves it up to his girlfriend.
When and where did you first meet? How long have you been a couple?
Puzzled, I scratch my head. I turn to Sunggyu if he knows the answer to this question, but he only shrugs. “I think it was when we had the same
class right? Practical Music class at the university?”
He nods. “We were group mates for a project. After the project, I invited her to this cafe and I asked her to be my girlfriend.” He tilts his head. “But she said no.”
I couldn’t contain my laughter and clapped my hands like a seal. “I was just joking! I said yes after I saw his really disappointed face. That would be after the first semester, so about,” I count my fingers. “A year and a couple of months, I think.”
Who would you compare your relationship to?
Without even thinking it, Sunggyu spoke up. “Jung Kyungho and Choi Sooyoung-sunbaenim.” I looked to him to ask why. “Just like them, we
went to the same university too.” He gave me a shy grin. “If Miah is Sooyoung-sunbaenim then I could be Jung Kyungho-sunbaenim.”
I hit him on the shoulder, amused. I grinned to the interviewer. “Let him live in his little world.”
What was your first impression of him? What was your first impression of your kid(s)?
I took a glance at Sunggyu’s face. He had an expression full of expectancy. “Since I was friends with Sungyeol and Hoya before Sunggyu, I knew a bit about him before I actually met him.” I tried to remember the first day we formally met. “They made him sound so dorky and kind of,” I gave an awkward cough, “incapable. But when actually met him, he was quite charismatic. I could tell he really cared for them. That attitude of his was a little attractive.” Sunggyu had on a proud smile.
I rubbed the back of my neck. “The kids were really cute. I could tell we were going to have a lot of good memories.” I gave a small laugh. “I thought maybe Enzo would cause more trouble than Dennis because he was younger, but its actually the opposite.” My hands found themselves linking with Sunggyu’s. “I was a bit worried about Sunggyu because he told me once he wasn’t good with kids.”
Were you hesitant to join the show?
“Not at all,” Sunggyu answered. “I thought it sounded like a lot of fun so I didn’t wait another moment.” Embarrassed, he turned a little pink. “Hoya sort of scolded me because I didn’t talk it out with Miah before signing up, though.”
Anything you want to say to the viewers?
“Um,” I gazed directly to the camera. “Thank you for the support you have given us to this point. “ I smiled. “Also, I would like to
thank the fan who gave me this parenting book when I was taking a walk. I will read it well,” I put up the thick pastel colored book before
putting it down to my lap. "Please look forward to our new family."
“Everyone,” Sunggyu started, “please give our new family lots of love. Look forward to this year as we raise our two boys, please.” Together, we gave a deep bow to the camera.
What are your thoughts on becoming a parent?
“I don’t know about Sunggyu, but I’ve always looked forward to it.” I traced the back of his hand with my thumb. “I love kids and always
wanted my own even when I was still young.”
Sunggyu burst into awkward giggles. “I’m scared. I didn’t think it through very much before applying.” He turned to look at me. Our eyes connected. “But I’m glad my brave Miah is by my side.”
How did your relationship first go public? Do you get hate?
I laughed. “Some fans saw us coming out of a blood sausage store holding hands. The rumour circulated for about a month before his boss asked me to come in for a meeting. When Sunggyu’s company announced our relationship, I was really amused by the feedback.” I crossed my legs. “Instead of them bashing and hating on us, the response was more like “Wah, oppa got a girlfriend? Congrats!” or “He actually scored a chick!
Go Hamgyu!”.” I chuckled. “It was pretty funny. Of course there were some fans who didn’t take it so well, but I’m still thankful for the majority who supported us.”
“After about two months of being official, I was really surprised.” He used his hands to talk. “She had a fan club during high school and college,” I laughed so uncontrollably I probably looked like an awkward seal. “And I saw that fan club actually get bigger until about a third of my fans said that they were members of Miah’s fan club. Then, when I checked on the site, she had more members than me!” He gave a smal pout.
“He was really upset,” I patted his back.
COMMENTS: i love this idea of using “official” couples. i kind of based the kids’ personality from what i saw of the little kids around me because this two haven’t really been in any variety shows that shows off their true personality like “hello baby” or “return of superman”. edited 06292014

SCENE/MISSION REQUEST: 1.) Sunggyu and the boys visit Miah at her school. They give her lunch that they made themselves.
2.) The Infinite boys come to visit their leader! It's time to see who could be the next Infinite Daddy!
3.) The family goes on a trip to the zoo. While everyone is busy enjoying the animals, the family gets split into Sunggyu-Enzo and Miah-Dennis. Miah's phone is stolen from her, and they have no means of communication. Can they find their way back together?
