Background:

Ryushin was born into an upper middle-class family. She lives with her parents, grandmother, elder adopted brother, and cat in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, South Korea. Her father is a well-off plastic surgeon in Seoul while her mother owns a small but popular stationery store. Her grandmother brought up her and her brother to be efficient and quick.

                   When Ryushin was ten, she attended a small G.O.D concert. This made her want to be involved in the show business. She has an ambition to be as popular—or even more—than G.O.D and tour the whole of Asia. She considers Danny Ahn as her role model.

How long were they a trainee?: 5 years
Trainee History:   Ryushin originally auditioned for J. Tune Entertainment. She left the company after two years of training to focus on her studies, but found that she didn’t feel complete without having a part of her devoted to being a star. It started with a kind of yearning for attention from doing something well. To cope with it, she entered numerous small dance competitions. It came to a point that she couldn't think of anything but dancing, singing, and performing. She auditioned for SM Entertainment in a small weekly audition with the song UNIVERSE by BoA. She felt exhilarated and complete for the first time while training in SM. She was usually treated differently—usually like she was strange—because she kept in contact with her friends from J. Tune Entertainment.

Current relationship between them: Jongdae and Ryushin are like magnets. Because they are so different, they are close. When Chen is planning one of his classic pranks, you can bet Ryu was the brains on two or three of his most brilliant “events”.
Love Interest's personality: Chen is a mischievous kid who looks quiet but just wants to have fun. Even though he looks like he can’t take anything seriously, he’s actually pretty decent. He takes it personally if someone attacks his friends. Chen thinks he’s the coolest guy ever, he needs someone to bring him back down to Earth every once in a while.
Any specific plotline?:           When one of Chen’s pranks goes wrong and it hits one of his sunbaes instead, Ryu takes the blame in his place and pays his punishment.

Current relationship between them: Kyungsoo and Ryushin are close. Ryushin is the more confident and talkative of the two, sticking up to s when they tease Kyunsoo of his height. She treats him like someone would treat a puppy, often annoying him.
Love Interest's personality: Even though Kyungsoo is a bit on the quieter side, he has his own inner strength. He’s such a non-judgmental-kind-charming kitten that Ryushin calls him “Mother TereSoo”.
Any specific plotline?:           When Kyungsoo gets into a major fight with Ryushin, he reflects on his feeling for her.
 

Idol Friends:

   -Lee Joon || Joon and Ryu used to practice dancing together when they were in the same company. They have an “oppa-dongsaeng” relationship.

                   -Thunder || Thunder used to teach Ryu how to rap. They have an "oppa-dongsaeng" relationship.

                   -Victoria || Victoria would look after her like a mother. She was the one that would cheer her up and give her support when she was a trainee.

                   -Kim Jongdae || Jongdae and Ryushin are co-conspirators on some of his most brilliant pranks. Most people would say that Ryu is Chen's yin to his yang. She balances out his loud, mischievious side with her personality that is more calmer, patient, and less mischivious.
