Before I start, I’d like to thank all of my beautiful subscribers to the series from the bottom of my heart. You guys are the best and I’m not going to lie— I love all of the reactions in the comments lol Btw, dat random influx of subscribers tho. I woke up and saw over 100 people subscribed and more were coming and I’m like “O_O Where are you all coming from??!!!”

SO ANYWAYS!!! I was originally planning on writing this up as a special announcement/update chapter but I know a lot of readers hate that (including me!) and I don’t want to momentarily get some hopes up of an early update when it’s actually not.

As the title says, there will be a major character change in the upcoming sequel Tormenting Me. It was a very, very, VERY difficult decision but after looking over the plot and such, I realized it was the best choice.

If you looked at the foreword and the poster then it won’t take you long to realize that the main character slot that was once taken by Chanyeol is now being taken over by Baekhyun.

I KNOW it probably makes no sense whatsoever to replace Chanyeol, the guy who had a hopeless crush on Jaeyun, with Baekhyun, a character who pretty much was just there with little to no important parts in Watching Me. But actually, if you were to look over Watching Me, you’ll see that there was actually something about him that made him perfect main character material. (It’s subtle though) It’s pretty unprofessional of me to be honest to make such a huge change right out of the blue just a month or so before posting chapters. But as I said before, it had to be done.

Originally though, I did have a plot and such ready to go with Chanyeol playing a vital role to the story but there was just something missing from it and it was really bothering me. However just a couple days ago, a sudden idea smacked me right in the face that made me second guess pretty much everything I had been planning this whole time which resulted in this character change. Having to switch the poor guy out was not an easy thing for me to do, especially since all mah lovely readers have been anticipating Chanyeol’s new leading part in the sequel. (I think… lol) But if you’re a writer or know anything about writing then you know that there are times where the characters and plot can lead themselves completely out of the author’s control and this was definitely one of those times.

I deeply apologize for those of you who were awaiting Chanyeol’s shining moment in the sequel but ya gotta do what ya gotta do!!! Chanyeol will still be in the sequel but his role will not be as big as Baekhyun’s will be.

In the meantime, Tormenting Me is well underway and will be updated accordingly. Please look forward to not only the sequel but also Baekhyun as a totally uncalled for but totally necessary main character~ ^^ There will still be the creepiness and mystery that you’re all used to in Watching Me though in the sequel, I think I’ll focus a bit more on the romantic aspects because this is a love story after all (a fact I sort of neglected in the prequel)

It will all make sense later on, I promise! Once you start reading the sequel I’m sure you’ll all have an ‘Ohhhh that’s why they were switched’ moment XD

Don’t feel too bad Chanyeol, you’re already the main character in my other fic!! Haha.......

(Honestly hoping the reaction to this ain’t gonna be too negative O_O)
