I'm currently sitting in my Sociology class, supposed to be working on a big final project but that's not what's on my mind right now. I go onto tumblr and see a lot of EXO posts which is normal since I follow a few EXO blogs but there are a lot with Kris. I thought to myself "it must be appreciate Kris day today" since there are days that my dashboard is just full of one single member of a group. Then I scroll down and see a picture of a girl hugging a galaxy guy and I was like that's cool. Then I scroll down a little more and see a tweet of EYK's that say "Kris, if you leave EXO do you want to work at our coffee shop?" And that's when I was like wait a minute. 

So as always when I have questions about anything, I googled it. And that's when my heart broke. 

I was never truly into EXO—hell, I tried to not get into them by ignoring them or denying the fact that I like their songs. That didn't last as I got into them near the end of the MAMA era and loved them in the WOLF era and then backed off a little. (EXO and BAP are the last Kpop groups that I decided to get into.) 

DBSK, my favorite group, as everyone knows went through a lawsuit and all the fans suffered with them. The pain that I felt during the lawsuit is exactly what I'm feeling now. Most people would think that someone from another fandom would be rude and be like "US CASSIES WENT THROUGH WORSE THINGS. YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT IT'S LIKE TO HAVE THE WHOLE GROUP SPLIT IN HALF" but that's not what I'm going to do. I'm going to suffer with you. Empathize with the EXOtics (whatever the fans are called). I'm going to share your pain. I'm going to stand by your side. I know what it's like to have a group go through a lawsuit and it hurts. Not only I but ELFs and Block B fans know it too. Hell, even KISSMEs with the members leaving and being replaced. A lot of groups have suffered their ups and downs and some were never able to get back up to where they wanted to be. Some fans were never able to see their hope and beliefs come true.

We all want him to stay in the group but no matter what the outcome is, we have to support him. One article that I read talked about him leaving because SM didn't consider him or his health condition. Whatever condition his health is in, SM has to respect that just like U-KISS's label respected Dongho's decision to leave. If he leaves, we have to still support him. We can't resent him or turn our backs on him. We are One right? That's what EXO says, right? So WE, the fans, have to be one as well. Even when they're missing one member. Even when it seems incomplete. WE can't be like the hypocritical Cassies who turned their backs on JYJ or TVXQ and hate the one they don't support. WE have to continue supporting him. I went on Twitter and saw that #WeBelieveInYouKris was trending. I thought it was sweet but then I saw a bunch of tweets saying "don't leave EXO please" or "Don't leave your Tao" or "Don't leave your Sehun. He needs a dad" but they're not doing it right. If they supported him, then they should be hoping for the best for him. They should be saying "we'll support you no matter what happens". Yes, it's ok to write things like that because it hurts and we need a way to show that it hurts us but if you're saying that you believe in Kris, you should believe in what he wants and what's best for him. If he wants to leave the group because of health conditions or because of his dream to be an actor, we have to support him.

Just like ELFs support Hangeng and Kibum even though they're not in the group anymore. They still believe in all 15 members. They still love all 15 members. Just like KISSMEs support Alexander and Kibum, even though they're not in the group. Just like Block B fans stood by Block B during their lawsuit. Just like Cassies kept the faith during those four painful years and even then still support both halves. Just like all the other fandoms, EXO fans have to do the same.

It hurts, I know. You want him to stay, I know. You want it to be OT12 and not OT11, I know. But no matter what, you have to support him. You have to stay ONE.

Suho stood alone and accepted their award from M COUNTDOWN and everyone is heartbroken about that. But what about Kris? Don't you think he's standing alone? Don't you think it hurts for him to see what fans are saying? The pleas for him to stay and the hate comments that could care less if he left. Even if the members are by his side right now, don't you think right now he feels alone? Knowing that people who said they love him are saying mean things? Even a coordi noona had posted something about betrayal not coming from enemies. He's not betraying them but people are making it seem like he is. I may not know what the other EXO members are feeling right now but they may be feeling how we are, heartbroken and sad but, they're probably supporting his decision like UKISS supported Dongho's decision. They're probably saying "stay strong" and "fighting". Words of encouragement. So please, don't say any hurtful things but words of encouragement. Stand by his side, just like the other fandoms are standing by yours. 

I also saw a post about Sehun feeling the most hurt because he's the maknae. I believe that to be true. I don't mean to bring this to DBSK but I'm gonna have to for a second. Changmin, one of the two TVXQ members, is the maknae and I had recently seen a post that was about why he was crying at the MKMF awards in 2008. The awards that are usually only talked about YunJae and their skinship the whole time. The post mentioned how Changmin, the member who didn't cry in public (just like Yunho), cried that night at that award ceremony. They said that he knew that it would probably be the last award they'd win together as five. Yoochun, the most emotional one, wasn't crying but consoling the maknae. I could only imagine that he was reassuring him that everything would be alright just by the expression on his face. As the youngest, he feels or felt the most hurt, maybe even betrayed at one point. Being the youngest means you become attached easily, maybe not for all but for it's like this for some if not most cases. So not only support Kris but Sehun, and the rest of them. (This seems a bit random since I lost track of thought during this segment). 

So please EXOtics, EXO fans, whatever you guys call yourselves. Stay ONE. Support not only EXO but Kris. Support Kris' dreams. Call him Duizhang. (sorry for the spelling error). Make fun of his art skills. Treat him the same. Don't change. Don't be hypocritical like those "Cassies" that were with DBSK when they were OT5 and now hate one half of them. Love him as if he was still in the group if he leaves and love him even more if he stays. This was just as unexpected for you as the lawsuit was for Cassies when they heard about it. Stay strong and really, believe in Kris and what he wants to do. Don't call him a traitor if he leaves. Don't stop loving him if he leaves. Don't become a different person towards him if he leaves. Treat him the same. Treat him as you would treat any of the other members. Believe in his dreams and hope for the best for him. This seems a bit contradicting of what I had previously said but instead of #WeBelieveInYouKris I think it should be #We'llStandByYouKris because he doesn't need believe to believe in him right now, he needs people, THE FANS, to STAND by him.
