↪ AGGRESSIVE ⇒ Sometimes, when it gets to fights, Lin just couldn't stand it. She'd yell "GUYS! ENOUGH! NO MORE FIGHTING!" whenever two guys fight over something, either it was a big problem or a small one. The harder people fight, the more aggressive she is. She kinda uses her rage to stop the fight. She is a very skilled fighter, also trained to fight well in archery. She hits precisely in the bullseye, which made her opponents slightly terrified of her. And plus, when she makes an angered face, her facial features really look like Kungfu Panda's Master Tigress, and only her close ones can calm her down.

↪ GLARING PRINCESS ⇒ She often glares at people, especially the ones she hate or the ones who threaten her and her friends. If people say looks could kill, the person she glared at would be deader than dead by then. When some boys, or any flirty boys casually walk and call her name, she'd return and threaten them with a glare, as if her eyes say "Don't you come closer or I'll kill you." In other cases, when one of her friends get threatened by someone, she'd glare as if her eyes said "If you're gonna mess with him/her, you'll have to get through me first". When she's pissed off and someone comes over to her, she'd glare at the person, signing him/her to leave her alone. She often has a glaring contest with her rival before she starts fighting. She was like an ice princess to the queenkas in her schools. Hence, only some who truly understand her would be her friends. But she isn't all a glaring princess. In some times, you could see a slight twinkle in her eyes, which was the same feature that her brother had.

↪ ROMANTIC ⇒ She had always been desperate for romance. She had been writing romance poems and songs since she was little. It was like she's Anna in Frozen, but not as naïve. She had been a fan on romance stories such as Romeo and Juliet, Swan Lake, the movie Another Cinderella Story, etc. She likes small skinships like touching hands, accidentally bumping on to each other, etc. It makes her blush every time it happens. But her one dream is to find true love.

 

Background:  

She was born in Beijing, she was the last of the two children of the Lu Family. She made lots of friends, they loved to play and sing together. When she was 5, her 14-year-old cousin returned from America and taught her English, though her brother had trouble learning the language. Lin would always sing with her brother as her mother composed a few duets for them to sing together. She had always dreamed to be a famous singer when she grows up, and begs her parents to help her reach for her dreams. When she was 6, her parents enrolled her into ballet, jazz, and hip-hop lessons when her brother got into popping and hip-hop. When she was 7, her parents enrolled the siblings into singing classes, and the teachers were impressed with her sweet voice, but were quite shocked of her cold personality. When she was 11, her uncle started to teach her archery, and she loved it. She trained harder and harder with her brother. Her cousin had to get back to USA when she turned 14 to continue his studies.

 

Time passed by and they had to move to Korea at the age of 17 (her age) and 19 (her bro's age) in a boarding school event. Then her brother got scouted when they were shopping in Myeondong with a couple of his friends. It made her feel lonely living alone in their apartment. How did you become a trainee in SMENT?:  

A year after Luhan got accepted into S.M. Entertainment, she decided to pursue her dream and chase after her brother. She entered S.M.Ent's audition in Seoul, with the category 'Singer'. She was so nervous, of course. She played with her own fingers as she waited for her turn. She practised her song, made sure she hit the notes precisely and practised her pronounciation. What surprised her was that Luhan actually skipped his trainee schedule and visited her at the audition venue. He cheered her up and supported her, wishing her the best luck. When it was time for her to sing, she glanced at her white necklace -that her family gave her as a birthday present when she turned 5- and prayed for the best. She faced the judges and started to sing an acapella of SNSD's 'Into the New World'. She sang the song with all her heart, and she expressed it on her facial expressions really well. The judges were impressed by her sweet voice. The judges then thanked her for auditioning and wished her luck, in which she smiled, bowed and thanked them in response before walking out of the room. A few days later, she received an e-mail that she got accepted, passing the audition. Luhan congratulated her for this, sending a bouquet of roses and camellias to her apartment room since he can't visit because of his trainee schedules.

How was life as a trainee?:  

Her trainee life wasn't quite enjoyable at first. She was bullied by the Korean female trainees and some of the male trainees. But once they knew that she was sister of Luhan who was their friend, they relented on her and stopped bullying her. She met some of the SNSD members and BoA during the trainee periods, and they were impressed when she sang and played the piano. When her brother debuted, she kept training and training harder, just to make her dream come true and reunite with her brother on-stage. She then heard of S.M.Ent making another girl group. Knowing this, Luhan turned down a few advertisements and a role in a Chinese drama just to train his little sister. And proudly, he made it when she debuted with the girl group named 'chérie'.  She appeared at EXO's Wolf and Growl Drama MV (it all started when Luhan dragged her into the set and the director casted her to be the main female). She said that it went a bit well since she was Luhan's little sister, after all: why wouldn't Luhan love his own sister? But she also said that it was awkward standing in Kai's arms and having him kissing her cheek for the teaser scene. (!!!) But because of her tight trainee schedule, she couldn't make it until the end of the shoot so the producers replaced her for Yoon SoHee. The kissing scene was also replaced with Yoon Sohee so Lin felt disappointed that her first kiss was stolen by a guy she didn't actually love. Luhan, getting the basics of loving a girl, continued the drama with a success thanks to Lin. She also made a cameo in EXO's Miracles in December MV as the girl that Sehun was staring at (same thing happened on how she got casted).

In the beginning of EXO's debut, he is known as the type of those mysterious guys. He may seem to have that cold tough look, that piercing stare and his intimidating-like look. But overall, he is a soft, warm-hearted guy. He doesn't talk much, yet he can be as protective to his closest friends. He has a manly personality and was like a father to his friends. He has a heart of ice, that's what the other guys say. He often answers short and straight-to-the-point answers whenever the other ask him questions.

As time pass, the secrets unravel. YiFan is actually an innocent naive boy giant who is addicted over the galaxy. His cold image was long forgotten by both the members and the fans. But even so, he still acts cool and accepts the reality. He has been known the Galaxy kid ever since. "Hello everyone! I'm EXO-M's leader Kris" was what he said in the MAMA and Wolf eras. But as time pass and now, the Overdose era, he mentions "Hello everyone, I'm Kris... FROM THE GALAXY!!" as mentioned in Korea Music Festival 2014 in L.A.

 

The first meeting?: 

They first met when she was training with Luhan in the music studio, when Kris suddenly entered the room. Their eyes met the moment after he opened the door; her heart started to beat faster, blood rushed into her face, her ears turned red. His reaction was the exact same, though less noticeable. Kris asked if the siblings were done training since their vocal training period was over. This snapped her our of her trance and she left the studio with Luhan. The second meeting was when Lin was walking towards the dance room with her equipment bag in her hand and a cup of caramel macchiato on the other. She finished her macchiato and went to throw it into the garbage can. The moment she turned her back, she bumped into a tall auburn-haired guy and accidentally dropped her bag. They immediately apologized and crouched down to pick it up. When they did, their fingers touched and they raised their heads, that was when they recognize each other. At first Kris mistook her for Luhan's girlfriend, as S.M. had prohibited trainees from dating. She explained that she was Luhan's sister, which relieved him. They got up on their feet after Lin picked up her bag. They introduced themselves... rather awkwardly. Little that they knew, Luhan was spying on them, being the protective brother of Lin. When EXO debuted, they still meet up in the dance rooms or in the cafeteria. Lin would also sometimes visit their dorm to visit Luhan, stealing a glance/stare at Kris whenever Luhan's not looking. As time passes, their feelings for each other grows. Luhan notices this (at a moment where Kris gets jealous when Kai cheek-kissed Lin), and warns Lin not to fall in love easily, for she might get hurt for herself.
