FULL NAME    Kim "Luna" Min Ji
 OTHER NAMES
• Luna She loves the character Lunafreya from the Final Fantasy franchise, so when she started having social media accounts she would address herself as Luna since it's more universal than Minji. Then she came to accustom herself with the name, using it in daily life since high school.
• Minji  Her given birth name, of which the first syllable matches that of her brother's. It's only used by her family and old school friends.
• Mint  Her brother and best friend call her this. Usually, it's to call her by her first syllable Min, but then her best friend stylizes it as Mint or even Minty.
 BIRTH DATE/AGE    29.10.1999/19-20
BIRTH PLACE    Guri, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea
 HOMETOWN    Seoul, South Korea
 NATIONALITY    Korean
 ETHNICITY    Korean
 LANGUAGE
• Korean  She speaks Korean as her mother tongue with a Seoul dialect.
• English She got it while learning with her best friend, and has improved herself via international social media interactions. Besides with her best friend, she only uses it when talking to international friends and clients.

 FACECLAIM    Minatozaki Sana of TWICE
 BACK-UP FACECLAIM    how bout nope

APPEARANCE    Let's start from the very top. Luna stands at 168 centimeters tall and weighs 50 kilograms. Although much different to the black hair gifted to her at birth, her current creamy light blonde hair gracefully waves down to her chest. A fair skin tone complements it well, giving her a younger and livelier look. Her round eyes are brown with a blueish undertone, topped with straight, fairly thin eyebrows. Her thin nose hovers over her rosy pink lips. Luna's slender build is significantly distinctive to that of her brother's bulky one. She has an average-sized chest, although something more distinguishable of her body is her small waist, providing a decent curve to her torso. She's been gifted a flexible body, being able to stretch her limbs like a gymnast's.
(based on Sana in "Cheer Up" era)
STYLE    Luna's sense of style is rather bipolar. When she's outside, she prefers girly and cute clothes. Pleated skirts are her #1 prized collections, and she has a choice of tops to go with it (crops, sweaters, shirts, you name it). Even in winter, she would still put on her skirts while donning thigh-high socks, ankle, and a long thick full-length to protect her from the cold. She doesn't have a fixed favorite color, so she can swing with most of them. She loves wearing sneakers and socks, but she hates wearing flip-flops. Her hairstyle is almost as flexible as her body – she can let it flow naturally, or braid her hair half-up-half-down, or tie it into twin tails, or keep it all up in a bun.

However, when she's indoors, she would take off everything and switch into an oversized hoodie or t-shirt, training pants, and tie her hair up into a messy bun. Sometimes she would use a bear-eared headband to keep her hair from touching her face. Anything to make her casual and easy to move.

 PERSONALITY TRAITS    esfj-a, ravenclaw, sanguine
+ Sociable, compassionate, diligent, respectful, loyal
- Conservative, straightforward, selfless, insecure, competitive
 TRAITS ELABORATED
Sociable → In a party full of strangers, Luna is perhaps one of the first people you would meet. She greets everyone with a smile and makes people around her feel welcome. She enjoys lots of company: she loves going out and having fun with her friends, chattering off about daily life, and doing activities together. People often mistake her as being bubbly, however, it's just because she can't help but express her joy. She does keep her emotions to a certain extent, though–she has to have some finesse as a lady, after all.
Compassionate
Luna has a deep sense of care for the people around her. She would offer help at any chance possible, whether it's emotional support, or sending her friends food when they need it, helping old people cross the street, etc. She suffers from seeing people suffer, and she puts herself in their shoes. She thinks everyone deserves to live a peaceful, problem-free life.
Diligent → Luna aspires to be a woman that people can look up to, so she takes it all out on her work. She may not be the smartest student around, but it's the hard work that pays it off. She never leaves any small detail amiss, and she makes sure to put extra effort in making sure that it looks perfect.
Respectful → Growing up with her family, Luna's always been taught to respect the hierarchy around her. She never stands up to the elders, teachers, authorities, bosses, etc. Along the course of time, she's also learned to respect even those who are lower than her, like waiters and janitors. She admires Japanese etiquette, and she implements bits of it into Korean etiquette as well.
Loyal → In her friendships, Luna focuses on an attitude of harmony. She's always looking for ways where she can find some common ground with others. Avoiding too much drama, she seeks out situations that help everyone find a win, which makes her a good team player in her group projects.

Conservative → Luna believes that she will be safe as long as she does not act too far from social norms. She sticks to the status quo, which makes it difficult for her to accept radical and eccentric people. She would comment, "We don't do that here." whenever someone acts in any way that strays from proper etiquette. She holds her family traditions very strongly, and she tends to stick to her schedules.
Straightforward → Her expressive personality can get a little too far sometimes, especially when she's in a rush or in a bad mood. Whenever she thinks someone has made a mistake, she doesn't hesitate to point it out. This usually happens when she's working on a group project. Most of the time, she would consider the other person's feelings and choose her words before uttering it out, other times she would straight up put up a lecture about the mistake. It's just that she wants everything to be as flawless as possible.
Selfless → Did I say she was caring? Oh, boy she is. Some people call her attention-seeking or desperate: she just couldn't help but offer aid to a distressed person, even when it's not quite necessary to do so. She would put others' needs before her own, only to prove that she is a loyal and dependable friend. She doesn't realize it, but sometimes it makes her friends worried about her well-being. Her brother constantly has to remind her to take care of herself.
Insecure → When she's home alone, she usually reflects on how she's treated the people around her. Was she too expressive? Had she hurt anyone's feelings? Maybe she was too harsh on that one weaker teammate? She needs someone to remind her that she's already done so much to help the people around her, and to tell her to keep doing what's right.
Competitive → She is not the type to boss around, but she might as well show people that she's a force to be reckoned with. Ever since a young age, she would compare her best friend's skills to her own. When she found out that he excelled in English better than her, she would beg him to teach her. From aegyo to flirting, she can think of many ways to get what she wants. She gets ahead of herself, pouting and saying that she could've done that too. It's moments like these where she has to learn to control herself.

BACKGROUND    Luna spent most of her childhood playing with her mother. Her father was busy with work and her brother, being a boy 9 years older than her, had constantly pulled pranks on her. She would cry to their mother if a prank had gotten too far. After her brother got accepted into a university in Seoul, the whole family moved to the capital.
During her elementary years, the siblings have started getting along. The elder would attend high school whilst learning martial arts, and the younger took chances at English and ballet. In Seoul, Luna met some of her older brother's friends, and she grew particularly close to two of them. Years have passed and Luna had a lot of friends in high school. She was one of the members of her school's journalism club. Currently, she had just been accepted into SNU's Department of Communication, and she dreams of working in the world of TV and media production.
LIFESTYLE    Following her brother's footsteps, Luna wakes up very early in the morning. She would race her brother to the bathroom, each complaining that they have stuff to do in work/uni. After bathing, Luna would go through her daily beauty routine, thus arriving last for breakfast. Her brother drives her to uni, then leaves for work. In between classes, she would hang out with her friends. Her classes finish at 5 pm. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, she runs off to her part-time job as a waitress in a café. On Fridays, she goes to rehearsal with the uni's dance club. She would go home either by subway or by bus. On weekends, she usually hangs out with her friends, or she would visit her best friend's house and spend the afternoon cooking or dancing or playing games with him. Luna would always end the day with her skincare routine, filling in her bullet journal, and watching one or two episodes of k-drama.

 RELATIONSHIPS
kim min seok | xiumin of exo | 29 | older brother | 5/5 | Minseok is very kind and playful with Luna. He almost always calls her Mint as opposed to Luna. He works as a barista in one of Seoul's more refined restaurants. They're very close: they fulfill each other's needs and look out for each other. Minseok is perhaps the best brother she could have asked for, if not for him being overprotective. He's very picky about the boys around her, especially her best friend and ex.
park chae young | rosé of bp | 22 | best friend | 4/5 |  Chaeng has been Luna's closest girl friend since Luna got to the journalist club in high school. She is Luna's senior and is now attending SNU as well. They often hang out in cafés or in malls, and they would text each other in English daily.
kim jong in | kai of exo | 25 | ex-boyfriend | 3/5 | So Jongin was one of Minseok's friends who Luna met when she was just in middle school. They became close friends, and eventually dated for a year. Recently, they've broken up because Luna feels like he's not quite the one for her. She thinks he's still a bit childish about his emotions. They still keep in touch as friends, though, with Minseok's supervision. Minseok got extremely cautious with Jongin after seeing his sister cry a few days past the breakup.

"sure about that, little sister?"
BEST FRIEND'S NAME    Kim Nam Joon

FACECLAIM    Kim "RM" Nam Joon of BTS
 BACK-UP FACECLAIM    i told u no!

PERSONALITY    First off, while Namjoon does have fun with his friends, people also often spot him staying alone and thinking and observing things. He loves to talk about deep topics. He's incredibly intelligent as well, but he doesn’t boost himself for that reason. He is humble-type of person with many mature thoughts and ideas which lots of people of his age never bother. He is extremely dedicated to his work, to a point of struggling for perfectionism. Combining with his sensitivity, observation, and analytical characteristic, no doubt he is deemed mature for people his age.

STRANGERS, FRIENDS, BEST FRIENDS
THEIR STORY    So it all began a month after the siblings had moved to Seoul, and Luna, Minji at that time, was still at middle school. Minseok had brought his friends over to his house to work on his uni project, and some tagged along just to hang out. Two of the latter were Jongin and Namjoon, underclassmen of Minseok's actual colleagues. Since Luna had nothing to do, the three of them played games and got to know each other. They talked about a lot of stuff, and Namjoon eventually asked for her contact. Jongin did so, too. The three of them exchanged contacts and went their separate ways.

As the years passed by, Luna had gotten closer to both boys. She thought of Namjoon as someone she could trust with her secrets, and due to his maturity, she grew to think of him as a second older brother. Jongin, however, had approached Luna a bit differently. Jongin was confident that he was quite the match for Luna's sociable personality, and Luna thought so too. They started flirting and hinting at each other. Seeing that she can trust Namjoon with everything, she told him about her newest crush. Namjoon only chuckled and warned her to consider any consequences, to which Luna shrugged off, even teasing him of being jealous. Not that it was the case, though, Namjoon stated. He would support Luna's decision no matter what. By the end of her 3rd high school year, Luna had officially become Jongin's girlfriend, and her "two" brothers can only keep an eye on them.

THE TURNING POINT    13 months into Luna and Jongin's relationship, Luna felt like there was something missing in Jongin that she just couldn't describe. She felt like she wouldn't want to continue having a relationship with a man so childish. A few weeks after Luna's graduation, she made the decision to break up with him, claiming that he deserved someone better. (The classic "It's not you, it's me" excuse.) She cried letting out her emotions that night, and Namjoon was the first one to call her. They talked over the phone for hours after midnight, with Namjoon calming her down then trying to cheer her up. Days passed after the incident and Namjoon stayed by her side the entire time. During playdates, Luna would still cry and snuggle into Namjoon's embrace, and he would accompany her while calmly reading his books. They talked about it for a few times, and Luna was quite amazed by Namjoon's way of thinking. It was far more mature in analyzing problems and opinions, and Luna realized that that was the trait Jongin lacked.

Luna had soon moved on from the breakup and went back to teasing and playing with Namjoon. Slowly, Luna fell in love with his perspective of thinking, and she felt like she can trust him even more. Before she knew it, she had fallen for her best friend a second time. She saw him as a capable partner who can guide her in ways not even her own brother can. Unfortunately, Namjoon was quite hard to crack.

INTERACTIONS    As best friends, they talk about a lot of stuff together. Luna would talk to Namjoon about her bullet journal loggings, and Namjoon would talk about books that he's recently read and they would discuss it. Don't worry, it's not all deep talks and celestial thinking, though. They hang out pretty often, going on playdates in each other's houses and hanging out in the mall or at the park. They would stroll around the city, play computer games, go to the movies, etc. The thing is, they have no shame of skinship. Namjoon's completely open with Luna hugging and cuddling him, or tugging at his arms. Luna, on the other hand, especially likes it when Namjoon rubs her head. They do it in public, too, making a lot of people including Namjoon's sister mistake them for a real couple. Over the course of time, Luna begins to give hints to Namjoon. She shows more enthusiasm in the books he reads, making his favorite coffee, and even buying couple merch claiming that they were "best friend charms". However, all the effort seems to be useless. When asked by anyone, Namjoon would still address Luna as his little sister, and that he would protect her should anything bad happen to her. It frustrated Luna sometimes because she wanted to respect his opinions, but she couldn't hold her feelings for herself any longer. Truth be told, Namjoon had actually had a thing for Luna even before she and Jongin dated. When they did, Namjoon thought that he should be better off staying where he was right then and keep supporting her, so that's exactly what he did. Protecting her is the least he can do if he couldn't have her for himself. After 13 months, Namjoon had already lost interest, accepting the fact that Luna might not be interested in him after all.
