Brief Biography: Hyo Lim was born in Singapore on March 4, 1998. Her mother is a Singaporean whereas her father is a Korean which make her half Korean, half Singaporean. Her father decided to move back to his hometown with his wife and Hyo Lim which is Apgujeong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, South Korea when Hyo Lim was 2 years old. At the age of 5, they moved to Thailand and lived there for 3 years. They moved to France after the 3 years in Thailand. During their stay in France, her parents adopted two lovely Korean children which is Oh Ha Young from a girl group called A Pink and Seok Chae Jin from a boy group called MYNAME. The two adopted siblings moved to back to Korea with her father as both of them was scouted as trainee to become a kpop artists. When Hyo Lim was 9, Hyo Lim and her mother decided to move back to Korea to join with her father and two other siblings.

Hyo Lim comes from a family with her parents and two un-related siblings. All three of them are very talented. Both of her siblings are in the Kpop industry. Both siblings are both vocalist in their own girl and boy group. Hyo Lim is a multi-talented girl who knows Ballet, Hip Hop, Flamenco, Bellydance, Chinese Dance and has a amazing voice without any vocals lesson. She knows how to act and plays the guitar and trumpet. She also does the sports, Rhythmic Gymnastics and Figure Skating.

Personality: Hyo Lim is a very positive girl that she would to tell people, who are thinking negatively, to think positively. Once she laugh, she cannot stops and giggle all the way. She is a hardworking girl and she even dance and sing while walking on the street or to the way to the toilet or maybe to the classroom. Hyo Lim is a hyper-active and energetic girl and love to fool around. Why you wanted to be a trainee: Being an Idol was a dream that Hyo Lim wants to reach for. Seeing her adopted brother, Seok Chae Jin, and sister, Oh Ha Young appearing on TV, singing and dancing on a global stage, makes her want to be an Idol more. Thinking of herself performing on the global stage in front of millions of people makes her high and excited. She thought that it would be a amazing experience to make friends with new and amazing people. She also imagined that her adopted siblings and herself would sing and dance together, like when they were young, but on a global stage.

Training Years: 4 years

Trainee Background: When Hyo Lim and her mother moved back to Korea to stay with her father and her adopted siblings, Hyo Lim told her adopted siblings that she wants to be an idol like them. After telling her parents about her dream, her parents agreed and will definitely support her. Her adopted siblings decided to help Hyo Lim and ask around their fellow idol friends if they know their company are having any audition. 2PM members told her adopted siblings that JYP Ent is going to have a audition at their center this sunday afternoon. Both of them rushed back to tell Hyo Lim the good news and help Hyo Lim with her audition piece. On the day of the audition, she sings and dances flawlessly and amazed the judges. The next day, she received a call from JYP Ent that they wanted her to be trainee.

During her training days, many people treated her well. She made friends with Wonder Girls, Miss A, 2PM and other Idols in JYP Ent.
