so just a couple of minutes ago i saw a blog post made by one of my friends on aff

if you want you can read the blog post here but if you don't have the time, i'll basically sum up what i've seen

an aff user has unfortunately passed away from what i believe to be cancer? i don't know her so i can't know but it's a horrible tragedy and, as stated in the blog post, my friend wants to get her story featured.

this beautiful act of friendship only takes a simple upvote for you to contribute in paying respects for this valuable life lost. from what i can see she was a very sweet girl and it'd mean the world to her friends and her, wherever she's looking from, to get a story that means so much to her featured.

I might be a little late but I feel like I should post this here.
I have no words to explain how much I appreciate what you're doing for my friend. In this modern world, people seem to fight for themselves only and, most times, don't listen or care to other's problems.
I have to admit, that I am honestly surprised with all the feedback you're giving to this. I mean, when she last updated her fanfic, it had only 25 upvotes and now it has over 200, all thanks to you. Because I have no words to explain how kind you are for doing this as well. You could have ignored it; say 'blah, whatever' and just forget the blog post, and move on. But you didn't. And I want to thank you so much for it.
She actually is the second friend I lost because of cancer. I had lost my bestfriend as well from methastasis when I was 10 years old, and she was 14. She died when her lungs collapsed and filled with blood. My bestfriend died choked up in her own blood.
Not that long after she passed away, doctors told me I had high probabilities of suffering from leukemia. I was born with a rare heart disease; and such news, not too long after my bestfriend passed away, crushed me.
It was horrible; and I wanted to forget it. All these years, I learnt how to move on, how to look into life's little things, how to make new friends.
And I thought I would never go through this again, but it just happened. Within a week, Anne died. I didn't even know it, but the toll it took on me feels like a stone I'm carrying in my back right now.

Without wanting to bother you anymore, let me just tell you something: Grab your cellphone, call your bestfriend. Tell her/him how much you love him/her. Don't mind if he/she laughs at you or thinks you're silly. Just do it. Because tomorrow, they might not be there anymore.
