I'm not that corny...

There has been too much procrastination before even setting out to write my short romantic comedy story between a pair of kpop idols that I like.

I don't know why I even decided to write a rom-com based fiction. XD I guess I'm experimenting with different genres.

When I was younger I wrote thriller-horror-suspense type stories. Even in primary school my mind was whack. I was the 'Misery chick.' (+1 respect to you if you know who I just quoted) Over the years my writing has certainly become even more serious because of essays and assignments, blah blah and my view on life is sickly realistic. I have tried writing adventure and found out that my sense of direction with the time and structure within the story is unusual and lacking clarity, so I stopped that genre straight away.

Moving forward; Romantic comedies and fluffy stories. Hmmm, I pondered this idea for a few months and came to the conclusion that I should at least attempt it. To describe my reaction to the whole idea is two words: Freaking hard. (That's what she said! >:P) I'm not a mushy person in general. But I think I have read enough romance-drama fiction and been forced to watch a reasonable amount of romcoms in the past, so I get the basics of writing one... sort of. You could say that my knowledge of a wide range of movies exceeds the limit of my family, friends, classmates and teachers, because I have soooo much free time. Not really. But I rather watch movies than write a 1000 word essay explaining the reason why Shakespeare's tragedy is written in a particular way. Shakespeare decided to write the tragedies of humanity because he felt like it. End of story.

My all time fav indie film is "Four Lions" ^^. I have never laughed so hard in my life, plus, my best friend is Arab. XD We were pissing ourselves. As for my fav box-office film, hmm, I don't have one yet.

Any movie or rom-com fanfiction reccomendations?

 And I'm out.
