↳ To start it off, Sunyoung is a girl who knows not of limits and rules. If she is to pursue something, she will pursue it wholeheartedly. She will usually never give up unless she is forced to withdraw her efforts. According to the young woman, dreams and wishes are meant to be pursued as we don't wish to live with regrets. Human beings should live without regrets because life is too short to make mistakes is what she believes. Once Sunyoung is set on something, she will almost never change her mind. She believes her choices are correct for the most part and often refuses to accept reality. Especially when it comes to failures in romantic adventures.

Despite being quite stubborn and sometimes hard to deal with, Sunyoung tends to be quite acute when it comes to others. She tends to figure out other's emotions without many problems. She knows that she has to put herself into other shoes before passing judgment. As she is sensitive to other people's feelings, Sunyoung will often be one of the first people who will volunteer to console them or help them out. if there are other human beings out there in the world, we should be helping others and not hurting them. Of course, she knows when to leave a person to themselves when the time comes along.

Being raised with a lively family that would always have silly spats, she tends to be rather loud and disruptive compared to most. Sunyoung tends to be unconscious of her earwrenching volume that others might find overbearing. She may be acute when it comes to emotion and feelings, but she's rather dense when it comes to being "polite" or "well mannered". The girl is rather playful when it comes to people she is close to. She tends to put a smile on other people's faces with her silly antics that may be considerably strange to others. Sometimes she cannot control her face while reacting to things, and she tends to be well...slightly strange. Just a knock to her head will put her into place in terms of her manners as well.

Even though she appears not to mind the criticism or teasing on the surface, she tends to take it to heart. Though Sunyoung wants to receive attention, it truly hurts her when people make fun of her accent or bash her singing. She tries not to show it, but she is easily affected by other people's comments. She especially hates comments about her external appearance as she knows that she's not the prettiest pea in the pod.

↳ Sunyoung was the first child of the Jo family as she was born in 1992. Her family owned a small coffee shop in the city of Busan that allowed them live comfortably enough to be considered middle class. with very little problems, Sunyoung grew up normally and like any other child. At age eight, Sunyoung helplessly fell in love with an older boy who was a musician. in order to impress him, She began to sharpen her musical talents in order to created "perfect confession". After her sweet confession, the boy accepted her confession and they began to date. Of course, all good things must come to an end. the young boy moved away a week after. Finally realizing that she had an interest in music, Sunyoung continued to study music for her own hobbies.

In her teen years, a new group called Super Junior debuted. Like many other young girls, she was captivated by their upbeat music and, Of course, good looks. She was a huge fan of the boy group, but not entirely goo goo over them. Her father found this little "obsession" a bit annoying and this is when their disagreements began. Sunyoung was never the type to let her grades slip, but when her grades did slip a bit, her father blamed it on her favorite groups. Having constant arguments with her father over her taste in music and her "obsession", she finally decided to end their fights by doing the unspeakable.

She auditioned for several entertainment companies in 2006 which completely enraged her father. Moonhyun told his daughter he "disowned" her (which was his way of saying why can't you pursue a normal career because he's always butthurt and can't say what he means). Her mother supported her choice and allowed her to join the company because she knew her daughter would eventually attempt to become a singer.

Trainee background:

↳ In 2004, Sunyoung was twelve years old. She participated in a school talent show and was consequently scouted by JYP Entertainment due to her "immense talent". She declined the invitation, but she did keep it in mind. In 2006, she decided to audition for various companies including JYP Entertainment, SM Entertainment (/cough superjunior), and DSP Media to go against her father's wishes. Though she was accepted into JYP Entertainment (she was rejected by SM Entertainment), she ultimately picked DSP Media as they were home to her favorite female idol: Lee Hyori. She liked Rain, but she saw Lee Hyori in greater regards. She trained under DSP Media and rarely missed practice as she strongly believed this was her dream.

Throughout her trainee years at DSP Media, she was one of the younger trainees who was on the roster. She wasn't exactly mature at this time, so, she often cried a lot as she was away from home. The other trainees did not bully her or anything of the such as they didn't simply see her as competition because of her immaturity. Sunyoung clung to Hyunyoung for the most part as well. She didn't debut with Kara because her short period of training, and she was skipped over for Rainbow because they felt like they already had put together a good roster and that she wasn't mature enough at this time. She left DSP Media after Rainbow's debut, feeling discouraged obviously.

In 2009, JYP Entertainment released her audition video (I know this is Yerin at age 10, but Sunyoung was a super shorty at this age and I thought...yeah) and she was contacted by various entertainment companies. She eventually ran into the Exuare Entertainment CEO at a vocal competition the following month, and she later signed a contract with the company.

Being more mature and level-headed (as a loud impulsive idiot can get), she made a lot more friends and her trainee period went more smoothly. She took singing more seriously as it wasn't something to get back at her dad but rather, her passion. She decided if she wasn't going to debut, she would either take upon a career as a composer or a vocal coach in the future.

Likes

▪ Super Junior is her one true idol group love. They got her into the whole world of idol music. She also loves TRAX, CNBlue, FT. Island, AOA, and just any band oriented group. Mostly Super Junior though. She's not a saesang fan though.
▪ European and Spanish food. .
▪ Hard candy is always something she has around. A lemon drop or mints, she'll always have something in .
▪ Pet fish (or Swedish Fish)
▪ Cubase, the mixing and editing program for her compositions.
▪ Japanese culture is something she also really likes. The music is wonderful. She's a huge fan of Morning Musume. Once in a while, she'll pick up a manga series or take a glance at anime. Don't get her started on Angel Beats.
▪ Harry Potter and Percy Jackson are some things she also enjoyed. Reading is definitely something she's good at.

Dislikes

▪ Speaking English. Don't ever make Sunyoung try. Please for the sake of all good things. She can't, and she's really shy about it. English class constantly appears in her nightmares. She can read though.
▪ Dancing. She's good after so many years of training, but she's just super lazy.
▪ The pool because germs and more germs.
▪ Meticulous activities. She can't just get that thread through the needle.
▪ Grapes. She's allergic.
▪ Bunnies. Demons, demons, demoons. Or maybe she just read Bunnicula.
▪ Kimbap/anything with seaweed in it. Gross.

Hobbies

▪ Composing songs. She's written at least twenty to thirty, but she hasn't shared any.

▪ Harassing Sunwoo AKA Baro of B1A4 to high heavens. Poor boy doesn't stop getting messages from his former neighbor. Well, to be fair, he does the same as they're quite close.

He went to her school, and well, they obviously did not meet until that very moment. Sunyoung and Sunwoo are two peas in a pod as cliche as it may sound, both being complete idiots and dorks all around together. Sunyoung, being the more outgoing, always tends to drag poor Sunwoo into her crazy antics. She's always talking to him, having him weigh out her decisions as he is always more reasonable than her. In a sense, they love each other but only as siblings. He's the closest to her besides Boohyun, her elder brother. He's always there to comfort her when she's down. After she left to become a trainee in Seoul, he continued to keep in contact with her as well. Sunwoo tends to be very protective of Sunyoung since she can be naive and rather idiotic.| Met in 2001.

↳ Jungwhan is what Sunyoung refers to as the perfect ball of sunshine or maybe that's her bias speaking since she views him as the male version of herself (with him being definitely more polite and respectful). He's well-mannered, skillful, and loved by the people who surround him. He's passionate about music and he takes care of his friends. To Sunyoung, he's the perfect guy in a sense. He engages in conversations and always brings something new to the table. If you feel left out, he'll bring you into the group and make sure you feel comfortable. Though he's friendly and well-loved, that doesn't prevent him from still having his negative moments (off-camera) and being saddened by things. Often enough, he does break down under the pressure of the industry. He's passionate about music but sometimes he's unsure of himself like most other people. Sure, he's a lighthearted and childish person, but Jungwhan is still a young developing man.

The love story; wishlist:

↳ I just want Jungwhan and Sunyoung to slowly develop a relationship in which they rely on each other. They both seem to be the moodmakers of the group, but they probably have things to worry about and they bond over that. I was going to put an 1LLUSION member as the main love interest, but I figured it depended on the character's personality and yaydayaya. I think I'll add more later. ;u;

For the 1LLUSION member being her ex-boyfriend, maybe their can be some awkwardness. I don't know why they'd break up, but I'd assume it's because of the company. Maybe they can have some lingering feelings for each other and slkdfjsdlkfj. I really would like for them to be a point in the story if she's picked.

Comments: I honestly hope Sunyoung doesn't sound too perfect in terms of talents. Acting and musical related stuf is all that she is able to do. She's kind of clueless when it comes to practical common sense. If she wasn't an idol, she'd probably be a vocal coach or a composer. XD
Suggestions or requests: I noticed that your character hates noisy people, so, I guess some drama between the two before they become friends would be cool if Sunyoung is selected. 2sun (baro + stella) moments too. ;u;
