"Ayo, the name's mickey" - when it comes to mirae's personality, the first thing you'll notice is how energetic she is. she's constantly bouncing around, whether standing or sitting. she doesn't know how to sit still and is just a ball, full of energy. due to her excessive energy, she's usually always in a good mood; the word, sad, isn't in her dictionary anymore. you can always depend on mirae to lighten up the mood when the atmosphere has gone dim. she doesn't like to see people fight and tends to cheer people up by making silly dance routines, that she likes to call kkap dancing, or even make funny faces and impressions to brighten up people's mood. for mirae, she hates the feeling of sadness or anger, it reminds of her past, which she never wants to go back to.

"Yah! Why are you so annoying?" - although she may be annoying with her bouncing optimistism, mirae isn't just all rainbows and sunshine; behind her happy facade lives a girl who has been abandoned and pushed around. as a means to move on, mirae started to care less about what people thought of her; she didn't want to be that shy girl who gets pushed around anymore. she started to do things her way, whether or not she seems weird. she stopped caring about what people wanted and started loving herself, telling herself that it is okay to be quirky and strange. for mirae, she stopped conforming to society and started living her life her way, where she can dress up in wacky clothes and dance whenever she wants. she was able to turn into this social butterfly that now isn't so scared of speaking in public or embarrasing herself; she became the definition of fun. she isn't afraid to say and do whatever she wants; she's very outspoken and blunt. she doesn't really think before she speaks and just says what's on her mind; she's very careless with her words.

"If you hurt him, I'll kill you" - when it comes to her friends, mirae's very loyal. she's constantly standing up for her friends, even if there's a possible chance of her getting herself in a bad situation. to her, her friends are like a family to her. for mirae, she's always surprising her friends with gifts and a lot of affection. you could say she's like a puppy; she'll stay by your side until the end, giving you neverending love and loyalty. whenever a friend is in need of something, you can always depend on mirae to help you out. for example, when baekhyun was too tired to write a ten page essay for his english class, mirae literally stayed up all night to write him that essay. for mirae, she holds her friends very close because they're all she truly has besides her older cousin, taeyeon. she was abandoned by her parents at the age of fourteen so it truly traumatized her, but you know who picked her up and brought her back to her normal self, taeyeon and her friends, especially taemin. as a friend, you can see the sincerity behind her actions; remembering birthdays, favorite foods, and even the little details you wouldn't think that anyone would remember. people tend to misunderstand and say that she's very clingy and attached to her friends.

"Do you want to be my friend?" - when it comes to popularity in the school, you could say mirae is one of the popular kids. although, it's not because she's the canadian representative for SISA (SNU internatinal students association), it's more like she likes making new friends. she's an extremely friendly person who will make you comfortable around her. most people in snu know mirae as a very nice person who's quite energetic. mirae's quite openminded and likes to try out different things. she's very open to making friends, even if they are from a different "social group" or clique. she doesn't care if you smoke or if you might seem a little strange and could possibly be a serial killer, she'll accept you for who you are and be your friend. mirae's very accepting of others and has a big heart. although, if you cross the line and take mirae's trust and loyalty for granted, mirae will have this huge grudge against you and will treat you like you never even existed.

"I'm not flawless, I'm flawful" -  mirae isn't just your optimistic little puppy, she can be one heck of a troublemaker, causing chaos with baekhyun. for example, mirae and baekhyun once went to chanyeol's birthday party and blasted all of the guests with water guns while screaming, "happy birthday dobi!" For mirae, she may be kindhearted and sweet, but she does get annoying with her constant smiling and excessive aegyo, but you can't help but get charmed by her outgoing personality. sure, mirae's annoying and weird with her nonsensical one liners, but you get used to it. even though she might do something stupid and may annoy you with her greasiness, she always does it with a smile.

 UNIVERSITY LIFE    even though mirae's already a junior, she's still working hard in her classes. although, mirae tends to be a little bit late for her classes, not because she doesn't care about being early, but because she tends to oversleep. she's constantly staying up to do homework, sometimes even baekhyun's. for mirae, she loves going to class and even goes to class when she's sick to the core. most students would probably stay home and rest, but mirae's the type to push herself to go to class. she hates to miss class because she really likes to learn, especially since her major is one of her passions in life. when it comes to school, it's a piece of cake for her; it's just how she uses her time that kills her.
 OUTSIDE OF WORK    after work and school, mirae really just likes to hang out with her boys, the "baekyeol" duo. she's constantly inviting them over to play video games and try out some of the healthy snacks taeyeon's always forcing her to eat. if she's not hanging out with her crew, she will usually either go straight home to do her homework and go on tumblr, go to the movie theater alone to catch up on some good action/scfi movies, or play sports with luhan and minseok. in general, mirae's life isn't really exciting. she just likes to spend her time mostly with her friends and family.
 LIVING CONDITIONS  mirae currently lives with her older cousin, taeyeon. before, taeyeon and her used to live in a small apartment, but since then, taeyeon was able to get her "dream job" as a radio dj for a well-known morning radio station. after taeyeon was able to get the job in 2012, she started earning more money which meant that mirae and taeyeon were able to get a new and bigger apartment; the apartment has two bedrooms, one and a half bathrooms, a big living room, and a small sized kitchen. for the theme of the house, taeyeon and mirae decided to make it a simple white theme with some bright colors. Although, for mirae's bedroom, she went all black to match her gaming setup.

 PERSONALITY     despite all of the bad luck he has, chanyeol's constantly smiling. with his bouncing optimistism, every day is a happy day. known as the "happy virus", chanyeol really lives up to his name. he's always cheering people on with his goofy eye smiles and silly jokes. chanyeol's a very friendly fellow who will literally befriend anyone. even though he may seem a little weird, he's constantly making his listeners happy with his deep voice, singing them sweet love songs. he may seem a bit creepy in person, but once you get to know him, you'll found out that he has a really big heart and treats people with respect, even when they don't return it back. chanyeol's really gullible and tends to believe other people's words very easily, which is one of the reasons why mirae's constantly watching over him. other than being a complete gullible fool, chanyeol's very innocent and believes that everyone is good inside no matter what they've done. he's quite kindhearted and is constantly lending a hand.

 1ST IMPRESSION  when mirae first met chanyeol, it was actually through baekhyun. one random sunday when she was going to hang out with baekhyun, he introduced her to his giant of a friend, chanyeol. after teaming up to beat baekhyun in mortal kombat, they were able to establish a very close friendship. when mirae first met him, she thought that he was very cute with his protruding ears; he was just like her, maybe that's one of the reasons why they get along so much. for chanyeol, he was very captivated with her cute looks and great smile; he couldn't help but stare at her for more then five minutes when they first met.
 RELATIONSHIP    

"The Dobi Couple" - even though many of the students in snu know that chanyeol and mirae are just best friends, they know that sooner or later, these two will end up dating. when it comes to mirae's and chanyeol's friendship, you could say that it is very affectionate. mirae's constantly hugging chanyeol and even likes to call him cute nicknames like "dobi oppa". for mirae, she feels very comfortable and safe around chanyeol; she's probably told him multiple secrets that no one else has known; heck, she even told him of her past which she has never told anyone. he's opened many doors in her heart and has always made her happy. to mirae, chanyeol isn't just a best friend, he's a very important person who brings happiness to her.

"I like you?" - it wasn't until her junior year that she realized how much chanyeol had such a impact on her life. she would constantly think about him whenever he wasn't around and would even text him cute messages like "dobi oppa, i miss you!" ever since mirae met chanyeol, she always felt happy whenever he was around. he would always make her laugh and smile, even when she was upset; he always knew what to say to cheer her up. he would always be there for her, waiting for her to lean on him. what really made mirae realize that she liked him was when he had to leave for spring break. usually, baekhyun, chanyeol, and her would go on a little trip like to jeju island, but this time, chanyeol was spending his vacation with his family for some family bonding. once chanyeol left for spring break, it didn't feel the same without him. after texting him constantly and some late night drinking with baekhyun, she finally understood why she felt so down; it was because she didn't have her dobi oppa. after figuring out her feelings, mirae started acting on her feelings; hugging chanyeol more tightly, holding his hand more, and occasionally, she would even kiss him on the cheek to thank him for doing her little favors. she's even thinking of confessing to him soon, but who knows?

 RELATIONSHIP  since they both came from the same place; vancouver, cannda, these two were easily able to become friends quickly. despite being polar opposites, kris actually treats mirae well, buying her food and stuffed animals. you could say that he likes to spoil her instead of tao, but the funny thing is that mirae gives most of the gifts to tao. whenever kris is around mirae, she tends to bring out the dorky goofball within kris. together, they constantly saying the word, swag, and even do rap battles. to kris, mirae is like his cute little sister. when they're together, they are constantly speaking in english.

 RELATIONSHIP  when it comes to their relationship, it's quite complicated. mirae loves suho like a older brother, but she honestly hates his pushover personality because it reminds her of her past self. she's constantly nagging him to stand up for himself, but he never does. she's always complaining to him about how people won't respect him if he continues to let people take advantage of him. for mirae, suho is a great friend who cheers her on and treats her to food, but his niceness irritates her. she's constantly punching him in the arm, telling him to stop being so nice. she loves suho and everything, but he deserves better and he won't get it if he keeps up the "nice guy" act.

 RELATIONSHIP  despite the comments of how jooeun is bossy and mean, mirae absolutely loves this woman. mirae thinks that jooeun is one hardworking woman and is constantly praising jooeun, calling her fabu unnie, which is short for fabulous unnie. even though mirae annoys jooeun sometimes, jooneun never really scolds her, except for the times where she hurts herself, which is a lot. for mirae, jooeun is like the older sister that she always wanted. jooeun's constantly there for mirae, helping her coordinate what to say on the show. as payback for her sweetness, mirae is always buying jooeun her favorite starbucks drink, a tall caramel macchiatto with extra caramel drizzle.

 RELATIONSHIP  when it comes to her older cousin, taeyeon, mirae would do anything for her. she would literally drop whatever she's doing and go to her. before baekhyun and chanyeol, mirae always found herself leaning on taeyeon. to her, taeyeon isn't just a cousin, she's her guardian; she took care of mirae when no one wanted to and even let mirae live with her despite having a low paying job at the moment. taeyeon is the one who raised mirae and gave her a good life. mirae absolutely loves her cousin to death and would die if anything bad happened to her cousin. since mirae lives with taeyeon, taeyeon's always visiting her to give her the homemade lunchbox she made for her and to say hello to her favorite dongsaengs, baekhyun and chanyeol.

 RELATIONSHIP  this is the one and only "tae tae" that mirae's constantly bragging about. not only is he her childhood best friend, he's actually a well known freelance dance instructor; although, the fame never got to his head. when it comes to their relationship, you could say that they treat each other like siblings. sure, mirae used to have a tiny crush on this manly oppa, but it faded once she got to know him more. these two have known each other since their middle school days and know everything about each other; from their favorite color to eating habits. taemin is probably the only person, besides taeyeon and chanyeol, to know of mirae's past; although, he never brings it up or else mirae will start to cry. even though mirae is older, taemin still treats her like a little sister and is constantly using aegyo and skinship on her; he just loves hugging the crap out of his little mickey mouse.

how did you learn about us:  it was actually all baekhyun's idea. he really wanted to have like this sidekick for his radio show and he thought that mirae was the best choice; they both had the same sense of humor, were the best of friends, and he knew that she had nothing else to do, but play video games all day. what really made mirae join AM 840 was her cousin, taeyeon. since taeyeon was also a dj, she got really excited and encouraged mirae to do. after taeyeon and baekhyun begged mirae for days to join AM 840, mirae finally said yes and was dragged to the station by baekhyun.

describe your work ethic:  since she knows how to entertain people, she would probably go at a moderate speed, making jokes at the right time. occasionally, mirae will have her moments where she gets really excited (which is most of the time) and make stupidly funny parodies of current popular songs. she'll probably even do impressions of famous people with baekhyun and have ridiculous conversations with him. in general, if you combine baekhyun and her together, it's just a pile of ridiculousness.

after constant begging from her best friend, baekhyun, and her precious cousin, taeyeon, the great and wild hwang mirae has finally decided to join AM 840. known as a video gaming obsessed freak that acts exactly like a puppy, mirae possesses a very fun and optimistic personality that is loved by many, including the duizhang, wu yifan, who spoils her rotten. although she might be a pain in the with her excessive aegyo and weird imitations, many people are enchanted by her bright smile and sweet voice. As one of the djs of baekhyun's "afternoon showtime", you'll find that the afternoon section is even crazier than before. there's more ridiculous "christina" impressions, more weird jokes, and even more kkaeb song!~
