ANY EXTRA APPEARENCE ASPECTS?: Scar -  As an assassin or a well experienced rogue, JiYoo was in her fair share of fights. Once she was slashed across the side of her abdomen and nearly died, but her teammate at the time was able to perform proper medical care in time.

 

BIOGRAPHY:

 

JiYoo was born in a small training camp that was constantly on the move, her mother died while giving birth to here and her father was rarely around due to the fact that he was always away doing hired jobs, such as assasinations and theft missions. Growing up in a traveling camp meant that JiYoo never was able to experience a settled feeling. When she was growing up she was taught only what she would need to know in order to survive. When she turned four she was trained in hand to hand combat by a man name KyuKwon, who was in his early 30's. He looked after JiYoo when her father was away and decided that he wanted her to be able to look after herself one day. When JiYoo turned nine, KyuKwon offered her the chance to pick up a weapon and he would find some one in the camp to teach her. She loved the idea of being heavily trained in all sorts of combat, wanting to be like her father and KyuKwon one day. With lots of thinking finally the young girl came to a choice, wanting to learn how to weild a katana and double daggers. KyuKwon bought her a beautiful katana, that she still uses and keeps in extremely high condition and her father, upon hearing the news returned home one day was a set of stunning daggers that he theived from a near by city. Both weapons ar the weapons she uses to this very day to take down her enemies. Her training continued until she could no longer learn much more.  

 

One day, when JiYoo was 14, she was out on resource exsursion with KyuKwon and she heard a cry and told KyuKwon she was going to follow the noise. He travelled close behind until the source of the noise was identified, there was a boy about JiYoo's age being beaten. Without hesitation JiYoo and KyuKwon attacked the attacker and helped the boy to his feet. He was terrified when KyuKwon asked him his name, but shakily responded "Ryu... People call me Ryu." JiYoo and KyuKwon decided that they had to take him back to camp and question him. he claimed his older brother who was looking after him was beaten to death while Ryu was away. He returned to see his brother nearly dead, only to be targeted right after. "Stay with us then kid, if you ain't got no where else to be going." KyuKwon offered, Ryu accepted. it was then after that JiYoo and Ryu got close and she helped him train in hand to hand combat, but he was more of a tactics sort of guy, more brains than bronze. 

 

When JiYoo was 18, she was one of the sliest most conniving thieves in most of her county. She was quiet and tricky, and her partner is crime was no other than Ryu. The two were what you would call a couple, but they never had enough time to properly express that. When they were 18 they began doing heavy missions for their camp. It was an assasination mission that almost had them killed, JiYoo and Ryu were working towards killing a weapons trafficer, who was on his way to delivier a bunch of weapons to a rival camp. However, instead of it only being the trafficer and his usual two gaurds, there were six extra men. Nine against two doesn't typicially end well. JiYoo was slashed across her abdomen by the second last gaurd and thankfully was able to get a good stab on him before going down and passing out. Out of rage Ryu was able to kill the last enemies and fix up his significant other. JiYoo was lucky to live, and it took roughly four months for it to fully heal. 

 

Fastforwarding to current time, Ryu and JiYoo are still a team and do everything together. They are doing missions and side jobs frequently, which is how they have run into the courier job, they needed the money.

 

PERSONALITY:

 

JiYoo's primary mode of living is focused internally, where she takes things in primarily via intuition. Her secondary mode is external, where she deals with things according to how she feels about them, or how they fit with her personal value system. JiYoo gentle, caring, complex and a highly intuitive individual. Artistic and creative, she lives in a world of hidden meanings and possibilities. JiYoo places great importance on havings things orderly and systematic in her outer world. She puts a lot of energy into identifying the best system for getting things done, and constantly defines and re-defines the priorities in her life.

 

On the other hand, JiYoo operates within herself on an intuitive basis which is entirely spontaneous. She knows things intuitively, without being able to pinpoint why, and without detailed knowledge of the subject at hand. She is usually right, and she usually knows it. Consequently, JiYoo puts a tremendous amount of faith into her instincts and intuitions. This is something of a conflict between her inner and outer worlds, and may result in the her not being as organized as she would like to be. Or you may see some signs of disarray in an otherwise orderly tendency, such as a consistently messy desk.

 

JiYoo has an uncanny insight into people and situations. She gets "feelings" about things and intuitively understands them. As an extreme example, sometimes she reports experiences of a psychic nature, such as getting strong feelings about there being a problem with a loved one, and discovering later that they were in an accident. This is the sort of thing that other people may scorn and scoff at, and JiYoo herself does not really understand her intuition at a level which can be verbalized. Consequently, she is protective of her inner self, sharing only what she chooses to share when she chooses to share it. She is a deep, complex individual, she is quite private and typically difficult to understand. JiYoo holds back a part of herself, and can be secretive. But she is as genuinely warm as she is complex. JiYoo holds a special place in the heart of people who she is close to, who are able to see her special gifts and depths of caring.

 

JiYoo is concerned for people's feelings, and tries to be gentle to avoid hurting anyone she cares for. She is very sensitive to conflict, and cannot tolerate it very well when it is with loved ones. Situations which are charged with conflict will drive the normally peaceful JiYoo into a state of agitation or charged anger. She doesn't tend to internalize conflict into her body, and instead will charge physically, as she was taught. Because she has such strong intuitive capabilities, she trusts her own instincts above all else. This may result in her stubborness and tendency to ignore other people's opinions. She believes that she is right.

 

On the other hand, JiYoo is a perfectionist who doubts that she is living up to her full potential. She is rarely at complete peace with herself - there's always something else she should be doing to improve herself and the world around her. She believes in constant growth, and dosen't often take time to revel in her accomplishments. JiYoo has a strong value system, and needs to live her life in accordance with what she feels is right. In deference to the Feeling aspect of her personality,she is in some ways gentle and easy going. Conversely, she has very high expectations of herself, and frequently of her family. She dosen't believe in compromising her ideals.

 

She is a natural nurturer; patient, devoted and protective. This can sometimes manifest itself in being hard-nosed and stubborn. In the workplace, JiYoo usually shows up in areas where she can be creative and somewhat independent. She has a natural affinity for art, and many excel in the sciences, where she makes use of her intuition. She can also be found in service-oriented professions. She is not good at dealing with minutia or very detailed tasks. She will either avoid such things, or else go to the other extreme and become enveloped in the details to the extent that she can no longer see the big picture. JiYoo is an individual that is gifted in ways that other people are not. Life is not necessarily easy for her, but she is capable of great depth of feeling and personal achievement.

She wants to make her life better and bring honor to her traveling camp and give them the life she thinks they deserve and she believes this faction could help her do that.

SHORT BIOGRAPHY: Is a part of a group of traveling theives/assasins. He used to travel with his brother until he was murdered and was found by JiYoo and KyuKwon. Not much is known about his past. (Most everything else is in JiYoo's background.)

PERSONALITY:

 

Ryu lives in a world of facts and concrete needs. He lives in the present, with his eye constantly scanning his personal environment to make sure that everything is running smoothly and systematically. He honors traditions and laws, and has a clear set of standards and beliefs. Ryu expects the same of others, and has no patience or understanding of individuals who do not value these systems. He values competence and efficiency, and likes to see quick results for his efforts.

 

Ryu is a  take-charge person. He has such a clear vision of the way that things should be, that he naturally steps into leadership roles. He is self-confident and aggressive. He is extremely talented at devising systems and plans for action, and at being able to see what steps need to be taken to complete a specific task. He can sometimes be very demanding and critical, because he has such strongly held beliefs, and is likely to express himself without reserve if he feels someone isn't meeting his standards. But at least his expressions can be taken at face-value, because Ryu is extremely straight-forward and honest.

 

Ryu is usually a model citizen, and the pillar of the community. He his commitments seriously, and follows his own standards of "good citizenship" to the letter. Ryu enjoys interacting with people, and likes to have fun. He can be very boisterous and fun at social events, especially activities which are focused on the family, community, or work.

 

Ryu needs to watch out for the tendency to be too rigid, and to become overly detail-oriented. Since he puts a lot of weight on his own beliefs, it's important that he remembers to value other people's input and opinions. If he neglects his emotional side, he may have a problem with fulfilling other's needs for intimacy, and may unknowingly hurt people's feelings by applying logic and reason to situations which demand more emotional sensitivity.

 

When bogged down by stress, Ryu often feels isolated from others. He feels as if he is misunderstood and undervalued, and that his efforts are taken for granted. Although normally Ryu is very verbal and doesn't have any problem expressing himself, when under stress he has a hard time putting his feelings into words and communicating them to others.

 

Ryu values security and social order above all else, and feels obligated to do all that he can to enhance and promote these goals. He will mow the lawn, vote, join the PTA, attend home owners association meetings, and generally do anything that he can to promote personal and social security.

 

He puts forth a lot of effort in almost everything that he does. He will do everything that he thinks should be done in his job, marriage, and community with a good amount of energy. He is conscientious, practical, realistic, and dependable. While Ryu will dutifully do everything that is important to work towards a particular cause or goal, he might not naturally see or value the importance of goals which are outside of his practical scope. However, if the is able to see the relevance of such goals to practical concerns, you can bet that he'll put every effort into understanding them and incorporating them into his quest for clarity and security.
