They're a legit thing now.

Logged on and saw "Pioneer" sitting pretty on my screen so I clicked around. By on my screen, I meant on my profile. You can see other peoples' on their profiles as well. I don't see an option for hiding your badges at this time, however. So I guess you have to share your Gold Status to the world.

Side note: what exactly are "Instant Notifications"

You can view all the available badges at http://www.asianfanfics.com/page/badges. There's currently only four and not too hard to get them if you have spare change.

Clicked around and I figure Pioneer goes to the first 100,000 users. Or really the first 99,999 because user number 100,000 deleted her/his account. So, sorry because no amount of spare change will earn you that.

It'd be really interesting to see these grow and I'm sure there's list of possibilities already. They just need a way to make it work.  Any suggestions for badges? Not something like "Commenter" and you get it (plus it levels up) with a large number of comments, because I think that's fairly obvious. Instead. something really out there but... in here in the sense that it's original but applies. 

What about a... I don't even know.

Hopefully if more badges do get added, people won't become crazy like they did (and are still) with karma. A badge for having all the badges?
