Her teacher told her that there was a new performing arts high school opening auditions for new students. She asked if she wanted the siblings to enroll, and before her brother could even complain, she immediately accepted. They asked their mother what song they should sing, and her mother composed a Chinese ballad duet song. She even moved to South Korea just to teach her daughter and son.
This was it. It was finally the chance she could try and reach her dreams. She was nervous, obviously. She was playing with her own fingers the whole time as the two siblings sat and waited for their turn. She made sure to memorize the parts well and get on the notes precisely. She wanted to make her family proud... and herself proud. During the waiting period, she met a few fellow auditionees and made a few aqcuitances. When it was their turn to audition, the siblings intertwined each other's hands, giving each other a slight reassuring squeeze and walked onto the audition room. Adrenaline rushed in her veins, but she tried to calm herself down. They performed her mother's composed song, "Breath". She performed the song full of emotions in her face and in her heart. The judges were impressed by their duet and wished them luck for the results. They thanked the judges and left the room. They prayed and prayed in their heart that they would exceed the audition.
