Identitas

Everyone has an identity. Real or fake, everyone has one. Sometimes people live under another identity virtually, but what if people do that in real life instead?

There will be a moment in our life, when we’ll find out that we didn’t know at all the ones we thought knowing very well. That’s when they reveal their true selves; their true identity. And then we realize that not everything we see is what it seems to be.

Excerpt

I walk towards the wooden bench and sit there, feeling the cold breeze of the night. I inhale its smell and it feels so nice and refreshing. The silence makes the moment just more beautiful. Although there’s this silence, I can still hear the wind and the distant car horns down there.

I so needed this time for myself, where I would be able to be alone and think about everything. I abstain myself from the world and enter on my own, as I lay on the bench, facing the night sky, filled with those bright points I so love to observe.

People look a lot like stars. When we see them from afar, they all seem beautiful and harmless, but once we see them up close, we discover that their brightness and beauty isn’t anything we thought it was. If we see starts up close, they are just giant spheres emanating light and heat. The same goes for people, if we look inside their souls we see that they’re not like what they seem on the outside, and that’s the most disappoint thing in life.

“Why is life so disappointing? Why are people so disappointing?” I question out loud. Maybe for me to hear it myself; or even for anybody who’s around and is able to hear my words.

And then I hope Lay could be here to answer my questions or even Jeong Suk. I think, the ones who disappoint might be the right ones to answer those two questions.

I hope you like it. :)

All faith in life was gone.
All faith in hope was gone.
She'd lost everything.
And he was determined to bring back everything she'd lost.
Or most importantly, her happiness.
