This option just bothers me so much and I've been seeing a lot more of it lately... I don't know about you guys, but I like to read the first couple chapters first before I decide to subscribe to a story. Sometimes forewords themselves aren't enough to make me wanna read something, so obviously it's clear where I have a problem with Subscribers Only Fics... I understand people like the thought of having lots of subscribers and I understand that with this option it seems like you'd be able to get more subscribers, but to be honest, I think it repels readers away if anything. Maybe I'm being overdramatic because it really just takes a click to subscribe, but I'm very picky when it comes down to what I read and it's just annoying to subscribe to something, read a couple chapters only to realize that it's a fic I don't really wanna read, and then unsubscribe (Especially if it's a work in progress because I usually like reading completed fics). And I feel like this option just leads to more unsubscibers than a usual fic would? I think it's definitely better to have silent, invisible readers rather than people that are forced to subscribe to you, not because they like it, but because they have no other choice if they want to read it? It's just seems so unnecessary... Sorry if I offended you if you actually use this option, but it's just my personal opinion.
