Personality: [ Spoiled Sweet ] As an only child (essentially), Taian is definitely used to getting everything he wants when he wants it. He definitely isn't used to sharing, but he's not opposed to the idea of it... as long as he gets the bigger chunk of whatever's being shared. He won't throw a full-on tantrum when he can't get his way, but he'll definitely get a little fussy and maybe a tad bit passive aggressive with whoever/whatever is standing in his way. He's certainly not a brat though. He places high value on the well-being of others in addition to himself. Despite being one of the youngest in the group, he sort of acts like a team mom making sure everyone has what they need and that they're okay. Then he goes back to worrying about his main priority - himself.

[ Brilliant, but lazy ] Taian seems to be naturally smart and fully capable of doing some pretty impressive things. That's how he managed to become an incredible rapper at such a young age. Those how he managed to learn how to hack his way through just about anything. That's how he managed to graduate from high school two years early. However, he seldom uses his intelligence unless there's something he's really passionate about. In every day life, he only seems to use half his mental capacity and comes off as lazy and sometimes dim-witted. Not gonna lie, he kind of likes the look on people's faces when he shows them that he's capable of so much more than he lets on. He just needs the motivation to do it. His biggest motivation? Impressing someone he finds attractive.

[ Uncensored ] Taian might be the member who ends up getting in the most trouble for the things he says. He's brutally honest and doesn't have much to hide. He's not afraid of calling other people out and challenging the system a little bit. He has an opinion on just about anything and he makes those opinions absolutely known. Sometimes he tends to go on long rants and even though he can tell people are trying to tune him out, he won't stop until he's done.

Background: Xu Taian was born the second child to his parents, but was raised as an only child because his older sister had died in infancy, so he never met her. His parents had him almost two years to the day after she died. Since they had already lost a child, they were very protective of Taian. They kept close tabs on his almost 24-7. They knew all of his friends, his teachers, what he was doing in school, etc. to make sure that he was safe and in good hands. When he was 10, his family moved from their massive city Shaoxing to the much smaller Dunhua which was settled in Yanbian prefecture - an area with a strong Korean immigrant population and a steadily growing underground hip-hop scene.

And, thus, try as his parents may, they couldn't keep him away from the underground hip-hop scene or the music channels loaded with K-pop music videos. He quickly became inspired to head to South Korea to try his shot at music and bringing more rap credibility to K-pop, but his parents didn't approve. He faked losing interest in that idea so he could attend a school trip to Seoul and secretly audition for companies. When the rest of the class returned, his parents were shocked and appalled to discover that Taian hadn't come back with his classmates. He stayed behind, officially having a become an A-Star Entertainment trainee.

He basically ended up with A-Star because they told him that was accepted immediately after his audition and they had a spot ready for him in the trainee dorms whenever he wanted it... which was asap.
