Let me say this first...why can't everyone just shut up and listen to the music. If you don't like it, just close the page or pause the music. Why do you have to dislike and write negative comments? I don't hate any groups unless there is something worth hating. If they copy some other song/dance/etc then yes you have all the right to hate, but don't hate them...hate the company...unless it was their decision.

A good example of copying is Purplay

They copied I.AM.ME's dance in their debut song. I didn't hate on them, but I was disappointed that the company would do this to girls wanting live out their dreams.

If an artist covers a song on live television, like when Tiffany sang Ariana Grande's The Way. Now let me explain...I am a fan of Ariana and a HUGE fan of Tiffany. I thought Tiffany did a good job, but no one can compare to Ariana. Ariana Grande has a special voice that nobody can beat. Tiffany did a good job either way though, she covered the song to the best of her ability and own with her style. And I must say, despite her vocal nodules, she has improved her singing.

If a group comes out with a new song, why must we compare them to Girl's Generation, 2ne1, SISTAR, or other groups? Do we have to do that? It's pretty annoying.

"Girl's Generation aren't a very good vocal group, but are attractive and can dance. 2ne1 can sing, rap, an dance and are better than Girl's Generation."

"SISTAR's song wasn't as good as ChoColat's.

Must we compare one group to another?! Why?!

Now I'm going to rant about how some groups are underrated and I may bash a group or two (or ten) in the process. However, I still like the group because they are (well some of the members) are talented and they put out good songs.

Let me start with the most obvious....SPICA

I am a huge fan of SPICA and I do think that they deserve what Girls' Generation has. Girls' Generation made it big from Gee, they didn't make it from their talent, they made it from an addicting song that featured a catchy chorus that went "Gee Gee Gee Gee." However, SPICA are barely noticed at all because the kpop fans only care about the IT groups (EXO, Girl's Generation, etc). SPICA deserves more than just an occasional cheer here and there, they deserve fanchants, millions of fans screaming their names, and millions of albums selling. Not just for their looks, but for their talent. Now, yes, SOME Girls' Generation members have good voices, but let's face it...we all know who can't sing. I wont' name names.

Now let's talk about EXO....must I even say this? FIRST! I am a fan of EXO, I write fanfics about EXO so I like them. So don't say I hate them, because I don't.

Now to get to the rant....

EXO is made up of 12 members...and I realized 5 out of the 12 actually have real talent. Being a LEAD RAPPER or LEAD DANCER or SUB-VOCALIST isn't talent, they are used just for their looks and "iness". Now I will name the members where I give each member my personal opinion.

Chen: Chen is my EXO bias, but he has an angelic voice that deserves to be heard in a hopefully future solo album just for himself. He is shadowed by other members.

Baekhyun: He has a good voice...yeah. Chanyeol is proud....

Kai: He can dance...that's it

Sehun: An idol for his looks...there I said it....

D.O: My big eyed cute boy....he is a good vocalist that has a cute face and deserves to also have a solo album.

Kris: He is in the group because he has the looks of a bad boy, making girl's ovaries explode...so yeah.

Xiumin: Must I say it? Shadowed...I can't even...*sigh* Become an actor Xiumin, leave EXO and become an actor.

Chanyeol: The personality of the group, he is the best rapper in EXO...but that really isn't saying that much. I like him though. Baekhyun is proud.

Suho: The leader that has a good voice (basically a lesser version of SHINee's Onew)

Luhan: Same as D.O, he has the looks and the voice. Don't try to be manly...you can't...you have been forever deemed as the deer. Enjoy it.

Lay: Did you see his shirtless pic?...yeah...can dance too...yeah...that's it. Shadowed.  [CLICK PIC TO SEE ABS]

Tao: He's the youngest. Also a bodyguard for EXO. I want to see him do more Wushu.

Must I say anything else? I must....EXO debuted not long ago, but they are popular because they are in SM. I wonder if they would be as popular if they debuted in another entertainment. As I said...5 out of the 12 have talent. But I still love my 12 boys...despite their...yeah you know...

Now this is what I have been waiting for....

Homouality and Shipping

So...I always wanted an idol to come out. I know there are some...it's pretty obvious. I can bet you that one guy/girl in the entire world kpop is gay/lesbian. Why must Korea be so against and afraid of homouality? I'm gay and I wouldn't want to an idol if I had to lie to my fans saying I was straight or hide it. I would want to tell everyone. I don't want idols to be robots/computers...they basically are though. They say whatever their masters (managers/CEO) say without saying their real thoughts. Shame on your fame...shame on you....

Now the last subject...concepts.

y, Cute, Comedy, Sad, Mature, Cool....

Out of all of these...my favorite is Comedy and my least favorite is y, Cool, and Mature. I'm neutral about cute. Must I even talk about the recent concepts? Girl's Day...they lost fans, yes I know it probably wasn't their idea to be y...but still... they only are popular because they show and be y. Only group that can pull off y is RANIA. Now to the guy groups who try to act cool...it just looks to fake...I like people to be who they really are. If an idol is funny...then be funny...if an idol is quiet, be quiet. I understand that it's just a concept, but still...it doesn't work on some groups. Only group that can pull off cool is BAP.

So...to wrap this up.

I think groups should be able to have a thought in their concept. Idols should be themselves instead of putting on a facade or fake personality. Not all maknae's are innocent and quiet then suddenly become cool and y...it doesn't happen *Taemin*.
