Sumi is a very happy and fun person. She is always smiling and cheerful. She can be mischievous and acts younger than she is. When she wants to she can be very hard working. Around the fans she will be cheerful, energetic and throw hearts which is both cute and funny. A way to describe her would be an open book because she is so open about her emotions and predicatable.
Some bad points about her are she can't keep secrets at all it's impossible for her. When she is scared she will go mute and reserve herself away from everyone, the only person who can get close to in this situation is V. If she gets sick she will not go bed and rest, she will insist she is fine and keep working and practising, so you would ethier have to drag her to bed or get Woohyun to make her go to bed.
background // As a child Sumi had the same personality as she does now. She was born in Chungcheon with two older brothers, her parents were chefs and owned a own resturant. All three siblings expressed an interest in music, the oldest brother in the making of it while Woohyun and Sumi in the singing, the two youngest began to learn and do lessons together.
When Sumi was 13 and her oldest brother had already moved out, Woohyun got scouted by a official from Woolim Ent, while he was visiting Seoul for a performance. The family decided to move to Seoul to be closer to Woohyun while he was training, he still continued to teach Sumi techniques for singing when he wasn't too busy. Three years later when Woolim was having their annual auditions Sumi decided to audition but to her dismay she was regected. Luckly a few weeks later after performing for a concert her friends had her join, a Big Hit official offered her the chance to audition.
After the audition she was accepted into the company as a trainee. Being a trainee was not easy, many other trainees were annoyed by her constant happy and bubbly additude and bullied her. She did however make friends with a few trainees, two who are now known as V and Suga. Two years later she was placed into a soon-to-debut girl group called FRESH.
