( style ) : bobae is usually found in very comfortable clothing which isn't too tight or too snuggled on her body. when she goes out, she's usually clad in something comfortable like shorts paired with a v-neck, mucle tees, and jumpers and rompers. you'll see her in all sorts of patterns, from floral to mesh, lace to aztec. her usual go to footwear are flipflops and her favorite pair of converse, her sneaker wedge is her exception though since she finds that it goes well with shorts and dresses. she has a strong affinity with shades and summer hats and she always go out the house with some sort of accessory like a necklace or a bracelet, even simple pearl stud earrings. bobae opts more for something casual, comfortable, and clean.

bobae is a walking contradiction. a glutton, yet thin. abrasive, yet compassionate. dense yet somehow witty. if talking was a hobby, she would rank it first. when people first get to know her, they are usually surprised by the amount of words that come out of . rumbunctious and loud, she's an opinionated person who thinks she has a lot to say so she says them all outloud and sometimes, all at once too. a little bit straightforward, bobae doesn't sugarcoat her words and sometimes, she's marked as a little too blunt. bobae sprouts ideas beyond anyone's imagination and usually, this imaginative side of her is what leads her to her curious nature. naturally engrossed by small things and details, don't be surprised when you figure out she has a very small attention span, easily distracted by things such as a sparkle of glitter on the ground or a tiny blister on the arm of who she's conversing with.

she complains often, and is very impatient. sad to say, this has become her trademark in the group. she's not the type of person to wait for a very long time and neither is she the type to take orders. she has a competitive heart and doesn't back down from a challenge, always wanting and needing to win (even in conversations she doesn't let anyone win her over so easily). although a bit on the narcissistic and spontaneous side, bobae is a well-rounded person. she'll be there when you need her and she isn't hesitant to lend you her shoulder when you feel like crying on one. she's all ears when one of her girls have problems and if they felt like going on a soju spree, then be her guest. compassionate and kind to others, bobae considers herself, well, pretty average (at the most, that is).

 just because bobae's too caught up in her own thoughts though doesn't mean she's not listening to you and don't make the wrong judgement that she isn't observing you. known for her keen observations, you'll be surprised that she actually knows a thing, two, or three (without anyone having to tell her anything). one minute she thinks she wants something and the next she completely hates it. yesterday she liked everything about you and tomorrow she'll say she hates everything about your damn existance. she tells you to go and leave her alone, when really she wants you to insist on staying. although she may seem all defiant and strong, bobae is nothing but a child, unsuspicious and unwary. even though she's all talk, she finds herself almost always lost, consistently needing someone by her side to hold her hand and guide her.

( background ) : there was nothing like talking and talking and never running out of things to say when it came to bobae and what other career would better fit her than communication arts. she studied at sungkyunkwan university for four years, juggling her her major subjects with her student council secretary position, key club level representative position, and her varsity status in the university's cross country team. she was vip for 3 years straight for the university's volleyball team and had multiple awards for being one of the most prominent debater in debate team.

bobae doesn't need to ask where she got her fiery yappy side since it's obviously from her father who loves to argue as much as she does. the two are very close, often text messaging each other and calling whenever he has time. since they are both living away though and the fact that he has a busy job, they arely have time to see one another. kris also got closer to him, ever since that day he complimented their tiled roof house. he's often invited whenever there are family parties and sometimes, jinhyuk invites kris to drink soju with him. the other girls find her father "good looking" and hot (which bobae finds disgusting) and they all envy his sweet relationship towards his wife, boyoung.

hip, trendy, and chic. like bobae, boyoung is bubbly and bright and is very considerate when it comes to those around her. she's very fun to be around, the life of the party, and enjoys being in the prime of not only womanhood but motherhood as well. she's very fond of kris since he likes to compliment her and call her "my pretty eommoni"). when she visits bobae at her condo or whenever they are meeting at some coffee shop, she always makes sure to nag her daughter and tell her to bring "my blonde son-in-law" with her. she's very affectionate towards her family, caring, and is open in displaying affection for her husband publicly (again, a little bit disgusting)

they first met at the summer house, where he worked part time in keeping the pool's water cleaned and maintained. he also helped out in the mansion's luxurious garden, giving bobae perfect glimpses of his tanned and chiseled body. it was an innocent childish crush, one bobae couldn't help but develop

— kris transferred to korea during freshmen year from canada after his mom's job relocated them to korea, permanently. with his perfect english, surprisingly attractive piercings, and hot boy next door aura, he quickly swooped fangirls around the school
— he got his first two tattoos when he was in senior year high school. one on his left side from midthorax to waistline that says "too fast to live, too young to die" and the second one is a chinese character right in the middle of his trapezius muscle, just in between the line of his back (visual but thats actually tao orz). during sophomore year college,  he got  a feather tattoo on the other side of his body (right side), just beneath the inferior portion of his axilla (visual), bobae later on did not talk to him for 1 week because he didn't tell her and went to get it with another girl from the group (petty jealousy)
— he's usually lazy to get haircuts or trims and if it wasn't for the girls dragging him to the salon, he probably wouldn't bother with a buzz

— kris has had his share of girlfriends in the past but none of them lasted long because bobae always ended up breaking them up (unintentional of course but it's not her fault they're so jealous of her *cough* she's actually the jealous one, other way around *cough*). but not that it mattered because kris never really minded it and he was never that serious enough about any of them
— after bobae, he's equally close to the girls and is used to their moodswings, pms attitudes, and bipolar catfights. what he'll never get accustomed with though is waiting for them to change in the dressing room and how they take so long in the bathroom when all they were going to do was go to mcdonalds for a quick run

seasons come & go

( personality ) : cocky, arrogant, stuck up, and a little too playful if you were to ask someone who didn't know the personality of kris wu fan. blessed with good looks and a good height to accompany it, it isn't a surprise when people think of him as nothing but an edgy, cold city player. the girls following his tail around town didn't help much either. truth be told, he doesn't expect people to like him when they first meet since he's usually distant and nonchalant, preferring to stay out of people's way and instead minding his own business. however, since he's both equally curious and nosy, this usually only happens to those he deems not interesting enough. when people break through his cold city guy facade though, they'll come to a realization that kris is actually a very warm and dependable person, someone who will stand by his ground once he's given his word. accepting and forgiving, he has very long patience and doesn't mind listening to the ramblings and sob stories of the girls.

one of his key traits is his humor and her ability to lead at all times. he's very easy to get along with, due to his chill nature and there's rarely a time when he has conflict with people around her. usually, he wouldn't mind anyone anyways as long as they weren't giving anyone else a hard time. you can say kris is a brotherly figure towards the girls since he's gotten so close to them over the years. he likes to tease them, call them, pester them and annoy them whenever they were around but he never failed in being there for them whenever they needed ears to listen to or a shoulder to cry on. kindhearted and compassionate, he can be protective when it comes to the girls, especially when bobae was the one involved. he's the type of friend to put aside his plans with his boys for them, and usually don't mind when they begin to nag him to be their driver when they had plans around town. he's usually good to go as long as he gets to hears the word "oppa" from them (and yes, he usually gives in right away when the girls start doing a little aegyo show)

" wu byuntae, why are you watching me sneak out? aren't you joining me?!

it was freshmen year to be exact and she was planning on skipping detention by jumping over the back fence of the school, which lead to the convinient mart just behind the language building. she would have gotten away quietly, had it not been for the student with an annoying gummy-toothed smile. she recognized him quickly as the newly transfered boy from canada, the same student the freshmen and sophomores fanned over. she was so shocked to see him watching her jump off the fence that she didn't even realize her skirt had already ripped from the side. furious (not because she ripped her skirt or because he had caught her but more because her mom would beat her to death when she found out the real reason why her skirt had a rip). accusing him of a ert, she demaded that he pay for the price of her skirt (she blamed him for it, concluding that it was because he was watching her) and he ended up buying her ice cream (of course, much to his displeasure). a couple of weeks later, he caught her sneaking out again during a morning period. feeling spontanious, he followed her out only to find that she had gone to a local chicken place to eat soy dipped fried chicken with unlimited rice. although he hated fried chicken, he couldn't help but watch her in amusement, amazed how she can gulp all that food down. after that, they developed an odd friendship and got closer to one another since they both liked to skip classes.

the two had a love-hate relationship all through out highschool but bobae knew that kris would become a lifetime friend when he helped her endure her first heartbreak. it was during freshmen year college when she began dating kim woobin, a senior 2 years her age. he captivated her with his charismatic smile and before she knew it, he had completely swept her off her rocker. however, after 9 months of dating, he called it quits. she went to the person she knew she could count on to ease the headache (and not to mention heartache) woobin gave her: kris wu. she ended up knocking (more like banging) on his dorm at the godly hour of 2am, covered in sweat, tears, and snot. when she told him her story, he ended up laughing at her face, telling her how hideous she looked when she cried and that her cheeks were tear stained. despite his insults, kris comforted her, bought her ice cream from minimart, and hugged her when she asked him to. when she asked jokingly if the reason why woobin broke up with her was because she was ugly, he answered, "yeah, probably is." she frowned when he said that but before she could hit him he added, "you silly girl. im the only one who won't hurt you. maybe you should just fall in love with me instead". she ended up laughing her off afterwards, momentarily forgetting her break up. that mornight, she ended up falling asleep in his arms.
 

" you're the gang's resident boyfriend so stay loyal araso?! "

as the girls indulged on their friendship during their college years (exploring the depths of their youths such as drinking until everyone was passed out, going to clubs, strolling at hongdae hand in hand), so did they exploit the infamous kris wu. it wad during these years when kris somehow became part of their posse, always the assigned driver whenever they went out. he became the gang's fill in boyfriend and he looked after them, much like an older brother looking after his sisters.
 

" i hate it when you call me a summer baby "

with 6 years of ongoing friendship, bobae couldn't be more happy to find out that kris had agreed to come with them to jeju. it was a battle with the girls and him, really, since he protested that he didn't want to be the only male in their little posse but since jeju wildchild was offering her spacious mansion summer house, he reluctantly gave them his yes. what bobae didn't know was that the vacation would be the beginning to what would later on be growing feelings. it was her birthday, the beginning of summer heat and the girls had gone off to a bonfire with kris and the housekeepers to celebrate. in the midst of it, he had scopped her from the back of her knees, hurled her on his back, and ran for the cold waves in fits of laughter. the girls and the rest of the guys had joined them but through the noice and ruckus they made, her eyes only lit as it met his. under the jeju moonlit, he kissed her forehead, flashed her his disgustingly sunkissed smile and said in his perfect english accent, "happy birthday, summer baby."
 

" why are you so angry, it's not like you're my girlfriend or something "

kim jongin was the resident hottie of the house and for some reason, bobae couldn't keep both her eyes and mind off him. she was infatuated by the way he smiled at her and from the looks of it, he was interested in her too. but once she finally stepped foot back on her ground, she realized that she wasn't the only one making progression when it came to summer love. kris was too! she had been completely taken aback when she realized that kris was beginning to enjoy the island mainly because of plotline summer love. the fact that they were getting friendly together made bobae not only envious but a bit irritated since kris was giving all his attention to her. although she didn't want to admit it, she knew deep down that she was being jealous. bobae later on learns that they didn't really have feelings for each other, kris was just helping her with that one housekeeper she was getting friendly with.

maybe it was because of the fact that they've known each other since freshmen year but whenever kris is asked of his opinion on bobae, he'd just smirk and say, "she dresses like a guy when we go out to dinner, she likes to wake people up at 3am because she wants french fries, whenever she can't sleep she'll make sure you dont get any either, and has no s whatsoever." to say they were like brother and sister was wrong; instead, they were like husband and wife who fought over everything, got jealous over the other when they averted their attention to someone else other than one another, and always checked where they were, what they were eating, have they even eaten yet, and whether they were with the opposite or not. they were big on the skinship, although it was more on the platonic side than it was on the romantic side. bobae would usually ask kris to hold her whenever she was feeling cold or to hold her hand just because she felt jealous of the other couples who had each other to hold onto. kris never complained, maybe because he was used to her doing it or maybe because he somewhat liked it.

summer girls.

( best memory with partner ) :
it was the morning of her birthday; although the girls definetely beat kris in greeting, he didn't let them win. after he made sure that the girls were asleep, he took bobae out for a ride in jeju wildchild's van and drove to the beach. when bobae frowned at him once they got there, he simply looked up at the nightsky and showed bobae how beautiful the beach was during the night. together, they gazed at the stars and talked while laying down on the hood of the van.
 
( best memory with friends ) :
the midnight conversations most definetely. how they stayed up in jeju wildchild's grand room, giggled underneath the comforters and talked about boys and swimming (excluding kris of course)

( a place in jeju you want to visit + why ) : all the beaches they can go to! hyeopjae and hamdoek are especially her preferences

( first impression of the summer house ) :
she always knew jeju wildchild was rich and that their family was of importance (ofc it was, she was the grandchild of the ex-prime minister). however, seeing their property in jeju was something eyesplitting, since wildchild has always been humble of her inheritance and wealth.

( what do you do on your last day in jeju? ) : 
kris always had the habit of telling bobae he loved her. the two of them decided that a midnight stroll on the beach would be good to seal their last night in the island. kris placed his arm around her and in a playful manner, whispered in her ear that he loved her. her usual response would have him a punch in the back of the head, resulting her to pull the ends of his sideburns. however, bobae looked at him straight in the eye and told him"don't say you love me cause i might just say it back" bravely, she told him subtly about her feelings. "the soju has gotten to your head, huh?" instead of responding to her in his usual joking demeanor, all he did was smile, ruffle the top of her head, and walked ahead of her.

( when your on the plane to depart jeju, how do you feel? ) : when they departed seoul, the two had sat together and did nothing but kicked each other around, played games on the ipad, and took photos of the other girls while they slept. but this time around, bobae chose to sit besides their motherly hen, runaway love, and kris took the seat by the gang's independent flirt, comforting her with her own heartbreak (or congratulating her, i dont really know what you have in store with this one otl but knowing you i can feel you'll be giving this one a bittersweet ending). it was then when she realized that falling in love with your best friend was not like what they had showed in movies and dramas. "you don't really want to fall in love (with your best friend) because falling in love breaks your heart."
