BACK-UP — Soo Ah APPEARANCE — With a short height of 155cm, people can't help but note the big height difference between her and her other co-workers. She owns, sadly, a pair of cheeks that are too chubby for her liking, hair that she finds too black (she wishes she could dye it but her mother has always been opposed to coloring her hair) and eyes that she finds too brown. She has long raven black hair that runs past her s and she usually puts it up on a ponytail because she hates the fact that it's so unruly at all times. She has a tiny mole right on the bottom of her left eye, a simple dimple on her right cheek, and a birthmark on her upper left arm. Other than her pair of piercings, she has nothing else.       STYLE — Boram is usually found in very comfortable clothing which isn't too tight or too snuggled on her body. When she goes out, she's usually clad in something comfortable like shorts paired with a v-neck, mucle tees, jumpers and rompers. during the winter time, you'll see her almost everyday in knitted sweaters, furry hats, cute mittens, and furry boots. You'll see her in all sorts of patterns, from floral to mesh, lace to aztec. Her usual go to footwear are flipflops and her favorite pair of converse but her sneaker wedge is her exception though since she finds that it goes well with shorts and dresses. She has a strong affinity with shades and summer hats and she always exits house with some sort of accessory like a necklace or a bracelet, even simple pearl stud earrings. Boram opts more for something casual, comfortable, and clean.

" + sugar, spice, and everything nice : The immediate impression that imprints on people's mind is how cute and squishy she looks. She has a face of a 9 year old and sadly, her 155cm height doesn't seem to help at all. Sad to say, her personality doesn't stray far away from a helpless 9 year old girl. Shallow and superficial, Boram sees the world in shades of black and white, with a dash of glitter and pink. It's either a yes or a no and there are no maybe's and superimpositions. She's simpleminded and rather thick headed, only being able to see through what people show her and never in between the lines. To say she's rather easily distracted would be an understatement. She has a 2 minute attention span where she's listening to you now and looking at the pimple in the middle of your forehead the next but don't blame her because it was totally your fault for staying up past 11 (shame on you, icky pricky zit). She carries a wave of excitement wherever she goes and whatever she does so it isn't a surprise that she was granted a spot as a hostess, serving side by side with Junmyoon and putting a charming show for the customers whenever the places gets busy as a bee. However, it's usually Joonmyun who has to keep track on how many people are waiting for a table since Boram usually shifts from crown to crowd, providing her bright smile as condolence if ever things are going wrong (it usually does the deed too). Oh, and the fact that she just cannot keep track of numbers so it's probably a good idea for Joonmyun to take all the hard parts with their job as Bora does the easy part: charm people in with her quirky aura. BACKGROUND — As far as she could remember, Sokcho has always been her hometown. Cliff Cabin has been her home since her senior year high school and she's been working as a loyal staff since then. Currently, she's on her 4th year of college with Communication Arts as a major, like her mother who had an undying love for Language. Since most of the subjects she's taking right now are minor ones (yet needed in able for her to graduate), she has more free time than the previous years, thus being able to work night shift most of the days. She's still living with her parents back at Sokcho, but this is because she knows her parents would cry to their wit's end. Her plans after graduating are still a little unclear but there's that fashion magazine in Incheon that's been giving her love calls and honestly, she's really considering moving closer to the heart of the city.

LOVE INTEREST — Kris Wu / Wu Yifan
BACK-UP — Kim Jongin, Park Chanyeol PERSONALITY —   "youre not my style either!" Young, wise, and undeniably good looking (not to mention good height too), it isn't a surprise that he's the general manager of the famous cafe-bistro. He's quick to catch up on things, alert, and flexible enough in cases of sudden changes in schedule and staff rotations. He's usually calm and collected, striding around the bistro with an air of authority clouding over him, checking diligently whether the staff has done justice to the tasks they were assigned with. He's casually reserved to those he doesn't know and usually wouldn't show people his alter ego (the alter ego Boram is going crazy over, racking her brains and going off her knocker). You can never doubt the air of professionalism he holds when it comes to work. He makes sure to keep a good smile on his face (despite his ugly gum-tooth smile, although Boram begs to differ), answers politely whenever someone asks him a question regarding the cafe-bistro, and is quick to act whenever the restaurant gets swarmed by foreigners. He dislikes anything cluttered and disorganized, although his patience is usually long especially, when it comes to Sehun lounging around doing nothing but bug Jongin or the fact that he's always asking Yixing for free drinks. When it comes to Cliff Cabin, you cannot deny that he does a pretty damn well job, considering the band of baboons he has for staff. Confident in his leader-like skills, he's someone who holds high pride with the job well done he's succeeded with work in Cliff Cabin. Protective and dedicated, consider yourself lucky if you have him around because trust him to know the right words to say when everyone else doesn't.However, Wu Yifan is the personification of a plot twist. Albeit to the personality he shows everyone at work, Kris is actually someone who's easy to get along with, if only people were to push against the walls he's built around him. Clumsy, oafish, and not the most agile in the group, it isn't a surprise to hear him blurting things out such as "I forgot my wallet" or to see him trip on his two own feet sometimes. Observant and highly analytical, he's quick to pick up things and is unexpectedly alert when it comes to his staff's romantic lives (as much as he doesn't want to be involved in them, he can't really help it since the young ones have got nothing to guide them in the world of everything girl and bipolar except for the hyungs). He'll sprout nonsense, play games he'll end up losing in, and complain whenever things aren't going in his favor and say, "this is just not my style" (what exactly is your style?). However, he's nothing but a warm hearted person who will probably end up crying when you watch soppy Park Shin Hye movies (okay, okay, I won't mention it again), laugh tremendously at a joke that isn't even funny, and slip ever so casually from time to time. RELATIONSHIP — + there is always a start : Kris is the other side of the world to Boram. In her eyes, he's everything she imagined she'd never come to like but for some reason, she can't help but be a little more curious about him each time he's the topic of interest. Although they've worked together for quite some time now, they usually steer away each other's sight, enough that he probably wouldn't expect Boram to know his real name (oh, but she does). + the oaf and his one sided love : Joonmyun had always been a good friend; so when he realized that he had a one-sided love for the other hostess, he couldn't help but laugh at him. "She's the girl you can't stop thinking about?" he ended up laughing as he asked him the question. However, Kris could clearly see how serious Joonmyun was in pursuing her and even felt a little bad that he separated her from the day shift. In a biased compensatory compromise, he found himself being bugged to death by the poor and hopeless lover boy to help him walk his way through Boram. Since he was annoyed to death, he agreed with helping him trying to "see the good in him", in hopes that Boram would realize what a catch Joonmyun was (only Kris doesn't seem to think so, he's nothing but an aegyo loving dweeb anyways). Kris found it easy to get closer to Boram ince she was such a jolly person; a bit annoying at times and definitely not his cup of tea, yet still he found himself curious by her each time. + stuck in yifan's head, the nuisance woo boram : It was nothing more but a plan at first; he was going to get closer to Boram in order to help his best friend out and that was what he did. He found himself waiting for her (it's a very dangerous world out there and the night shift isn't really the safest thing, you know) so they could go home together, watching her from afar as she woos the customers to come get a drink at the bar, and sometimes even catches himself just plain staring at her, wondering what it was about Boram that caused Joonmyun to go head over heels. It didn't take a long time for Kris to realize though; Boram was like a song that continuously plays on the radio. Irritating initially but once it gets stuck on your head, you can do nothing but hum to the tune of it. He began to spend a lot of time with her, to the point of taking her to his apartment and watching romantic comedies along side his couch (he would have preferred action and horror but he always loses to her on rock, paper, scissors). He even sometimes found himself stuck in her dining table between her parents, and somehow, he somewhat liked being with her family who was so carefree and jolly (guess it isn't a wonder why her personality was like that). When they weren't together, he found himself thinking about her, the stupid grin she always had plastered on her face, and that clueless glaze she always holds. He wasn't as slow as she was and he definitely didn't need anyone to spell it out for him: she liked her just as much as Joonmyun did. + you should probably choose him : Kris suddenly began to realize that he took Joonmyun's words too lightly; it was true, that Boram wouldn't realize a man liked her unless they said it to her directly and he didn't know whether he should be glad or not that she was as oblivious as they all said she was. However, Kris was suffering from an internal crisis. He liked her but at the same time, he shouldn't because Joonmyun liked her first and it was just the rule of thumb when it came to girls and friends. While Kris was suffering from trying to chose between the girl he liked and his best friend, Boram was beginning to question the sudden butterflies she felt each time Kris was around. It wasn't until one night when she was over Kris' place watching a horror movie when she realized why: it was because she liked him. + a sudden twist of fate : Everything was going good. Boram was happy with how things were going with her and Kris but Joonmyun had been a little persistent recently, always insisting that they should go to the movies or something like that. "He just misses you, since he's so used to working with you side by side," Kris reasoned. "Maybe you should." It was an unplanned event of confession but Boram suddenly found herself saying, "But you're the one I want to go with to the movies." Kris was dumbfounded and too shocked to register what she said. Instead of jumping for joy that Boram, the girl he came to like, was confessing, he bowed down, looked at the ground and told her how Joonmyun had liked her and that the only reason why he got close with her was not because he was genuinely interested in being her friend but because he wanted to help his friend out. Feeling confused at the sudden revelations, she went home early from work and ended up sleeping besides her mom. "Joonmyun has been a good friend of yours. Maybe you should give him a chance." She couldn't tell her mom that she had feelings for Kris. However, when she found out from Yixing that Kris changed her shift back to the day shift, she thought to herself how maybe she just misunderstood Kris' kindness. + yah pikachu! i choose you! : It wasn't easy telling Joonmyun she didn't have any romantic feelings for him and it wasn't easy either breaking it off to her good friend that she had feelings instead for Kris. However, he took it better than she expected, with even a promise that he'll try to talk to him for her. However, a week passed by and still there was nothing of Kris. Since they had opposite schedules, she didn't see him as often and each time she didn't bother waiting until he arrived at Cliff Cabin, not wanting to seem desperate at all. At the least time she expected it, she found a note stuck to her bag that had "Pikachu! I choose you!" in them with a messy drawing of the said cartoon character. She knew it was Kris, judging by the messy handwriting and ugly drawing. However, she ignored it since there was no way Kris could have taped it in her bag. His shift wasn't for about 3 hours later and there was no way he could be at work so early. The very same time, she found Kris throwing pebbles at her window at roughly 10:57PM and when she opened her window, he said, "You sleep at 11PM so I had to come before the clock striked 11. Didn't you get my note Pikachu? I choose you." |

"WHICH JOB POSITION ARE YOU APPLYING FOR?" — Hostess "WHICH POSITION IS YOUR SECOND CHOICE?"
— Promo Girl "WHY ARE YOU APPLYING FOR THIS JOB?" — It's good experience. Not only is Cliff Cabin an interesting place, it also allows me to experience diversity in people since my course in college requires me to constantly study it. Since Cliff Cabin is always filled with both local and foreign people, I think it's good experience. "HAVE YOU HAD ANY EXPERIENCE WORTH MENTIONING?" — My major is very active when it comes to people and we're always doing charity programs for all groups of ages. I'm people type of person and there is hardly a time in which I find it hard to interact. I'm sure I'll do fine with the customers if ever I'm picked as staff. "WHO, AT CLIFF CABIN, DO YOU GET ON WITH THE MOST + WHY?" — Joonmyun. Since we work along together by tending to the new and old customers, I get along with him the most. "WHO DO YOU GET ON WITH THE LEAST + WHY?" — None. Since I'm usually fine with everyone, I don't have anyone who I'm awkward with. "DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEAS FOR CLIFF CABIN?" — Promos are good for business and it's a good way to get more customers for the place. People are often lured with the 1+1 phrase so I think we should offer a buy 1, get one free promo every once in a while. "SO, WHAT WOULD YOU SAY WAS YOUR SPIRIT ANIMAL? WHY?" — I'd like to think it's a bear. bears have a very comforting aura with them, as if anything and everything is safe and sound whenever they're around. Like a bear, anyone can easily approach me if ever they need an ear to listen to them or a shoulder to cry on. |

SCENE REQUESTS —
+ I loved you from the first day : During Kris' 10:57 confession. He tells Boram "I loved you from the first day. Maybe I was intimidated by the way you acted cute and how my best friend seemed to like you alot. I had no intentions of liking you but I ended up liking you and now I want everyone to kow I do. I'm better with you." Boram ends up rushing down stairs, not caring whether she wakes her parents up. She throws her arms around him and gushes, "Idiot. You don't know how long I waited for you to tell me that." + You're not my style either : One of the boys teasing Kris and Boram together and how they've been together quite a lot, even Boram going to Kris' place. Kris replies with a sneers and says, "Tsk. Her? She's not my style." Boram finds this insulting and later on screams, "You think you're mine?! You're not my style either!", causing the night crew laughing at their manager ad their bubbly hostess. + Your voice is my favorite sound : While Joonmyun and Boram are together at work, Joonmyun ends up blurting "your voice is my favorite sound" while Boram is in the middle of telling him a story. She gives him a funny look and asks him to repeat what he said since she didn't understand and he brushes it off, saying something else. Kris, who witnessed it, shook his head and it was then when he found out that he was crazy over the girl. + I'm guessing I'm a fool : During a time when Boram thinks whether she likes kris, she almost confesses to him during work when she felt herself gettng jealous over a customer who was trying to desperately get his number. Knowing how only fools in love rushed in to love's door, she couldn't help but think "maybe I've turned into a fool because of Wu Yifan." + Sweetheart, is he your boyfriend? : Boram's mom invites Kris to dinner when they first meet (he dropped her off at her home). Sometime during dinner, Kris begins to feel flustered as her mom suddenly asked, "Sweetheart is he your boyfriend?" He ends up choking on his water when Boram suddenly replies, "Why mom, should I make him my boyfriend?", obviously musing on kris' flushed state. COMMENTS — so i know you had a role for kris' partner as general manager but i made my character as a hostess so i hope thats fine. you can change it anytime you'd like though. and dear lord i got carried away with my application. i deleted a bunch of stuff so that it seems shorter but why does it sstill seem long ;;;; also, i dont know how you feel that i made suho a love rival of kris so i hope thats fine too ;;; i couldnt really think of any other plotline either ;;;;; /sobs PASSWORD— WINTER. |
