Amira keeps her walls up. She has a face that says, "I'm better than you in every way." It's not something she wants to do, but she's feels it's necessary because she's scared of getting hurt. She's not mean or rude, if a rookie is brave enough to talk to her, she's polite. However, she tries to keep all conversations short and sweet. She only opens up to the managers and stylists of epitome, because she trusts them more than anyone else.

She doesn't try to start fights with people, but there are a few divas who annoy her to no end. They see her as stuck up, so they try their hardest to tear her down. They bully her constantly, but she ignores it most of the time. Even though she's calm, if someone pushes the right buttons, she'll snap. She looks up with bored eyes, says something that'll make them cry or shut up, then goes back to what she was originally doing. She can point out people's weaknesses and shove it in their faces. It takes very good observation skills to do this. These skills aren't exactly something she's proud of, but she needs it to survive in this dog-eat-dog world.

Even before she became famous, she always tried to help out in her community. Now that she has money, she tries to help out with the poor. She sends money to her mother, who hasn't talked to her in awhile. She does a lot of volunteer work and charity events. It's something she pictured the goddesses in magazines doing, so she also wants to do it.

Amira has a whole different character on the runway or in photoshoots. She worked hard to get where she's at in the business and she's proud of herself. Her normal personality is switched for a fierce and confident attitude when works. Although she makes mistakes here and there, something about her stands out above the rest. She's confident with her looks and her modeling and everyone sees it. When she was a rookie, you couldn't see this personality. Her insecurity would get in the way which was why she got rejected so much. There are still sometimes like when she's at a social event, that she is a bit too withdrawn.

When she was younger, around 6 years old, she had the brightest smile. She had a wonderful home with two loving parents and an older brother who made her laugh. She did good in school, mostly so she could make her father proud. All this changed during her 4th grade. Her father, who always seemed happy, had decided to divorce her mother. He had been having an affair with his co-worker for years. He didn't even want to have visiting time with his kids. One day he was there and the next, he was packing up and leaving. Her mother took it the hardest. She began to drink at night, and when that happened, she would cry at the table, muttering to herself. On the worst of nights, she starts yelling at her kids, blaming them for the divorce. Once or twice she went as far as to even throwing a bottle at her Amira, luckily she missed by an inch or two. Her brother stopped coming home at night and instead went out with his friends. He didn't talk to her anymore and he stayed in his room most of the time.

She entered middle school later and was surprised at her friends' change of character. They cared more about their looks then their grades. They about her puffy, unkempt hair and her acne. Plus it didn't help that she was taller than som o the boys in school. She began to lose confidence. She tried her hardest to catch up with the rest of the girls. She read fashion magazines and idolized the goddess-like models. She started working a part-time job in the freshman year of high school to help her get to their level. She got acne washes, creams, and then she started wearing her hair curley. She slowly began to look like the girls in the magazines and fashion shows. In high school, sophmore year, she started pursuing her modeling career, despite her mother's lack of encouragement.
current lifestyle : She currently lives in an apartment.  When she became a model, her mother stopped talking to her, thinking that Amira was abandoning her.  Her brother visits a few times. He's trying to make up for their lost childhood.

how long have you been in the industry? --- Going on 4 years now.
how long have you worked for epitome? --- 3 years
what do you think about epitome? It's not as harsh as the agency I was in for my first year. They put me under a strict diet and had me take diet pills. The newcomers have no idea how crazy terrible other companies are. Even though it doesn't run a slave company, the people there are such divas. It makes sense since it is the most prestigious comapny. Perfection and beauty is key. It's not the company itself that's crazy. It's the WHOLE industry. Anyways, I guess it does get stressful, but epitome is an exciting place that you can't help but be into.

if you had a chance to go back in time, would you? --- If you're talking about the modeling career, I do have some doubts. However, even though I sometimes wonder why I chose this career, I know that I would never go back and change it. I would go back in time to fix my childood. Maybe talk some sense into my father or try to do something instead of watching my family crumble apart.
who or what do you blame for the stress you are in right now? --- Currently, I hate stupid Shane Tolson. He's a total douche and I serously can't stand him. I blame my mom for not answering my calls. I blame myself sometimes for not being able to trust the people around me. Most of all, I blame my father, he started this mess.

-Amira in her apartment alone. Doing the things she usually does, being depressing and stuff.
-She glances down to her wrists and sees her scar. She has a flashback of when she was about to cut herself. Her mom had just thrown a bottle at her and after a terrible day at school, she was an emotional wreck. She cut herself once and was about to do another before she saw one of her fashion magazines. She suddenly remembered her dream of being a model. The ladies on the magazine were never scarred or hurt, they were images of perfection. She stopped before she can do anymore damage. Even though it's a small scar, it still makes her feel terrible.
