Childhood

background : Changhyun had a comfortable childhood. His parents were rich, though they never thought to live in the cities. His family lived in Miryang, a small rural town with lots of lush green fields and hills. Changhyun would spend most of his time at school, but whenever he was free from school, he would go play with the older kids and catch bugs. He was never top in the school, but he was in the top fifty students. One day, at the age of ten, his homeless cousin moved in the household. His uncle, who was already weak from smoking and drinking, taught him the value of money before passing away two years later. Changhyun was quite popular in high school due to his looks and his rich state. However, since his school was strict with girls having their hairs short and above their shoulders, he wasn't interested with any of the girls (his ideal type was someone with long hair). During his high school, he grew an interest in dancing. However, his friends told him that dancing wasn't right for him and suggested for him to rap or sing instead.

Beginner

trainee life : Changhyun got into VS through auditioning. At first, he tried to audition for dance, but failed. On his second try, he sang a song, which seemed to impress the judges. His father was against him becoming a singer, knowing the hardships of the media career. However, Changhyun managed to leave Miryang and went to Seoul to persue his new dreams. At VS, he was offered a dorm and thought that he would be treated quite nice. But his thoughts were crushed when he realized the tough competitions. Whenever he didn't take music seriously, people would downgrade him and ask him why he was here, pressuring him to leave. Changhyun decided to be strong, and continued to sing because he didn't want to disappoint his father and waste the money he spent in Seoul.
