SURFACE LEVEL
APPEARANCE   Hayoon weighs 47kg and is 160cm tall. Her hair color is naturally dark brown, but for the show, she dyed it to a bright pastel pink. She has soft brown eyes that curls up to an eye-smile whenever she's laughing. Instead of an egg-shaped face like most idols, Hayoon's face is more round like the moon. She has a flat nose and thin lips, but overall, she gives off a very cute vibe.

STYLE   A lot of Hayoon's clothes consists of loose or longer tops to make her body look smaller. She definitely goes for styles that showcase how adorable and innocent she is. Everything about her screams "cute."

DEEP WITHIN
PERSONALITY   cute, dorky, childish, carefree, liar, self-victimization

  PERSONALITY ELABORATION
→ dorky. cute. childish. Hayoon is just the sweetest thing in the world. She loves to have fun and loves to drag people in her little adventures. Behind the camera, she is a bit dorky, but it's not to the point where people think she's stupid, but just darn adorable. Whenever she makes a mistake on stage, she'll brush it off by laughing and acting embarrassed. Skinship is something she loves to do on camera, but off-camera, she tends to just stick in her own little bubble. If anything, acting like a spoil kid is one of her charm points: "Oppa, am I your favorite? No? Whyyy? Be sure to pick me as your favorite, or else I'm going to start pouting!"
And all it took was one small pout and puppy-eyes to make that fan change to a Hayoon fan in a heart beat.

→ self-victimization. manipulative. liar. Hayoon might be cute when you're her friend, but when you're her enemy, get ready to be seen as the bad guy. Hayoon doesn't show it, but she loves playing the victim. After all, you can't blame the cutest girl for making a mistake, right? It just has to be someone else's fault! Hayoon won't hesitate to spill out those crocodile tears at the spot, and you know when she's about to cry. She lowers her head with her hair falling to one side, her lips starts to quiver, her body begins to huddle closer, and she'll look at you with wet eyes: "I know you hate me, but can't you at least make the effort to get along with me just a little bit? I don't think I did anything wrong, but if you keep being like this, then I really don't know what else to do... I have insomnia and I barely had two hours of sleep last night because I was thinking about how mad you would get, and honestly, I can't take it anymore…"
And all you had asked her to do was practice more to improve her dance because she's been dragging the team down with her lack of dance efforts. AFter all, she can lie just about anything about herself as long as she's not caught.

  BACKGROUND
Hayoon was born in a middle-income family, with her father holding down an office job and her mother staying home to raise her and her little brother, Hasung. Hayoon was well-rounded in her subjects at school and she didn't have too much of a problem socializing at school. That was, until, in elementary, her friends decided to outcast one girl because she was rumored to have "cooties" for touching a guy in a game of tag.
This was the first Hayoon encountered a problem with her friend. The "cootie" girl, who found out why she was being outcasted, chose Hayoon and claimed that Hayoon now had the "cooties." From then on, none of the girls nor the guys wanted to be her friend. When she tried to deny that she was touched by the "cootie" girl, the girl denied it and played the victim, causing Hayoon to be outcasted. What? It's that easy to lie? Come on. There has to be more than that!
But there wasn't. And witnessing a simple manipulative trick led Hayoon to craft her ways with lies, especially in front of the teachers. From then on, she grew a close relationship with her teachers while her peers were forced to mess around with her less. The "cootie" rumors disappeared and it seemed like all the lies and self-victimizing had done Hayoon wonders.
Self-victimizing showed results at home, too. Whenever she was about to get in trouble, she would shift her blame to her brother, who was always getting in trouble for no reason. Hasung knows how his sister is, and for a while, he resented her for it until he learned to just leave her alone and live his own life. For the record, Hayoon was known as the "admirable role model" while Hasung lived as the "disappointing, rebellious son."
In 2016 of February, Hayoon joined FAVE Entertainment, hoping to be the first successful girl group to come out of the company. However, with the succession of groups in FAVE Entertainment being disbanded in 2017 (e.g. HISTORY, Sunny Hill), Hayoon wasn't sure if the company would be ready to release a girl group any time soon.
So, in December of 2017, Hayoon decided to audition for Big Hit, who was finally accepting female trainees. She was accepted for her cute charismatic charm and for her singing abilities. From there, she realized how competitive and serious Big Hit was, and in order to step up to the game, she wouldn't be able to rely on her cuteness and vocal abilities.

dislikes
bitter food. it's not sweet, and if it's not sweet, she doesn't like it.
→ being bossed around. expect her acting like she's a victim if you boss her around.
→ y concepts. it's hard to take a cute girl seriously if she's carrying the innocent image.
→ spicy food. her eyes will get teary and she gets a runny nose, which isn't very cute.
→ being put in the spotlight during punishment. oh, she will definitely play the victim if you try to scold her for something.
hobbies
→ singing. as a vocalist, she likes to sing and let her voice be heard.
→ hanging out with Hasung. her brother might not like it, but it's important for Hayoon to hang out with Hasung just so that she gets a good image as a good sister.

→ pouting when she hers something that she doesn't like.

fun facts
Hayoon used to be a back-up dancer for IU's concert in 2016.
→ If you were to ask about Hayoon's childhood "cootie" incident, she would give a vague storyline. Her classmates at that time don't remember the incident too much, but if they were ever asked to comment on it, they would say something along the lines of
"We were just kids messing around. It didn't mean much."
→ Her role model is IU.
→ She is a fan of BTS, especially J-Hope, but she will not say it in order to avoid any potential hate comments from ARMYs.
→ She will, however, say that she admires G-Friend, specifically Umji because she noticed how Umji worked so hard throughout the years in G-Friend and she wants to work just as hard.
→ On her Instagram, Hayoon posted a photo with her and her brother, Hasung. Hasung got a lot of attention for being cute and good-looking, but he expressed no interest in the attention and prefers to live a quiet life.
→ Trained at Fave Entertainment in February 2016 up until December 2017, where she went to Big Hit Entertainment
→ Specializes in singing, but pretty weak when it comes to rapping and dancing
→ Is considering going for an acting career in the future, but hasn't decided yet

→ She is known to have a cute singing voice
LIFELINES
  RELATIONSHIPS
→ Kim Hasung / little brother / 17 (December 3rd, 2001) / high school student / kind of close, but more standoffish at times / Hasung doesn't really want to be a part of his sister's public life, but she needs him to show how much she "dotes" her brother to the public. He knows his sister's manipulative personality, but he would never tell the press about it. He is one of the few who can tell his sister to stop playing the victim or acknowledge that she's a victim before asking, "So what are you going to do about it?" to move the subject. Hasung is a bit cold and distant, but to some, they consider him hot and cool. He doesn't have a lot of words, but gets flustered whenever he's teased a lot.

  YEARS TRAINED   2 years

TRAINEE LIFE   Hayoon managed to go through a quiet and peaceful trainee life beacuse there wasn't much that FAVE Entertainment was doing with their trainees when she was admitted in February 2016. Once she got into Big Hit in December 2017, there was clearly more competition and a neccessity to make careful decisions in order to have a part in the show. At Big Hit, there was a focus on rap and dance. While she heavily lacked the rap/hip-hop aspect, she has been doing a good job of improving her dance. She has been learning English and has been practicing her pronounciations.

REPUTATION   Staffs and the other trainees seem to show favorable opinions about Hayoon. Which is a good thing for Hayoon because once it's time to start the show, she needs all the people she can do believe in her story instead of the other person's story. After all, she is the victim. As the victim, she needs to convince people in any way that she's right and the opponent is wrong.

EXPERIENCE   Hayoon was a back-up dancer in IU's 2016 concert, but that was the last time she was on stage.
WHY DO YOU THINK YOU WERE CHOSEN TO PARTICIPATE IN FAVORITE?
Why? *forms a wide, shy smile* Because I'm cute? *cups her cheeks with her hands, trying to show aegyo before bursting into a laugh*

WHAT WILL YOU BRING TO THE SHOW?
Aegyo! I think I have a lot of cute charms to show. A lot of the trainees—in Big Hit, at least—are very cool and have a very strong, intimidating vibe. I think that I can balance that image with my cuteness.

WHERE WOULD YOU RANK YOURSELF AMONG THE OTHER TRAINEES?
Ahh! Rank myself? *stares blankly at the camera with a dumbfounded smile* I don't know~ Maybe six? Six is the max number for the finalists, right? *laughs* Okay, yeah, six! I think I rank sixth place!

WHAT ARE YOUR STRENGTHS? WEAKNESSES?
My strength is definitely in singing! I don't think I'm too bad of a dancer myself? I also think that I'm pretty good at origami. Ha, ha, ha! Also, my cuteness. I have a lot of people tell me that I'm very cute and that being next to me is very healing. (^_^)
Weakness? Maaybe rap? I can't do rap at all *laughs* Also, I can't handle spicy or bitter food. I am a weak eater when it comes to spiciness and bitter food. But I hope that my fans can love me even for my weakness! I may not be able to eat spicy food, but I will definitely go out to eat spicy food with you if you really want, so please pick Hayoon as your FAVORITE! *waves at the camera as the interview comes to an end*
COMMENTS: Please let me know if I made any mistakes or if there is anything else I should fix! I'm looking forward to the storyline, regardless of wherther I get picked or not. Good luck!
SUGGESTIONS/REQUESTS: I was thinking of a scene where Hayoon plays a victim (this is during off-camera) and every sees this, so they all take Hayoon's side because she's been such a dear sweetheart and that causes a lot of tension between some of the other trainees and Hayoon. It also might lead to the producer/camera man to purposely not give a lot of screen time to the people who seemed like they were "bullying" Hayoon and, instead, cater the attention to Hayoon.
